The pledged delegates Clinton and Edwards won in the primaries are required by law and DNC rules to place their votes for their designated candidate in the first round of votes at the convention.

To refuse Clinton delegates the opportunity to place their votes for Clinton would have broken the very rules that also gave Obama the nomination when a majority of the super delegates pledged their support to Obama.

Barack Obama thumbed his nose at Hillary Clinton and those of us who support her and now he is trying to play nice? It makes me even angrier than I was before.

I believe he is responsible for the disenfranchisement of voters. I believe he demonstrated sexist actions during the primaries – he also never spoke out against the media misogyny that took place. I think he was arrogant in thinking he was going to succeed in his self-serving goals without us... Now he knows he needs us to win.

There may be a portion of Hillary supporters who will vote for Obama, but I will bet that the majority will get into the polling booths and write-in Hillary Clinton's name or vote for John McCain.

There was a time that if Obama had picked Hillary as his VP runningmate, I and others like me could have had some healing from the disgraceful things that took place during the primaries. But now, I cannot let go of all he and his camp have done – playing the race card on Bill Clinton who does not have a racist bone in his body and who was entirely undeserving of that! And, thinking it was okay not to allow Florida and Michigan to have a Democratic revote and allowing the sexism without ever speaking up against it – I think he even participated in it. I think he is also responsible for allowing 30 people sitting around a table in a room to substitute the votes of legitimate voters with their own. His campaign said... oh, the Hillary supporters will come around... blah, blah, blah... It is NOT happening as he wished and I don't think it will. I think that he, the DNC, the RBC, Donna Brazile (a deceptive entity, in my opinion - and, a fake), Dean, Pelosi, et al... DESERVE to lose this election.

As a lifelong Democrat, I would like to see a loss for us in this election. I think we deserve to lose in November because of the anti-democracy that has been rampant throughout this election process thus far.

What I want to see is the after the voting of the delegates that instead of Obama becoming the nominee, that the delegates vote for Hillary Clinton and she becomes the nominee. To on and beat McCain in November. Obama has NO chance of beating McCain in November.
