mike huckabee wants the candidates to talk more about evangelical issues. they wont and they shouldnt. 1 in america were all plauged with the same issues. 2 if evangelicals have their own issues,thats not the whole countrys problem or concern. 3 only people like mike huckabee want to hear about religious sectarian isuues and they dont make up enough votes to matter in more than a few states that will go the same way they have gone for 50 years... republican... are the economically challenged complaining? no. are the anti war people complaining? no. because REAL issues are a focus in campaigns. if only mike huckabee and his crowd can realize that no one takes religion that seriously anymore. especially with all the evidence that proves that its merely a crutch. and is not to be taken literally......

Huckabee will not have to worry. McCain will not need a VP as he won't be in the White House. But I agree with Huckabee about Mit Romney. He is not a man to be trusted. Huckabee on the other is a man of great character, fortitude and conviction.

It's interesting how all you left-wingers conveniently gloss over Obama's filp-flops on a whole host of important issues. Let's see....Obama's so called "energy plan" (the one that's written by left-wing ecco-terrorists, not based on the laws of physics). First he's anti-domestic drilling, then he claims that he supports limited domestic drilling -(well which is it)? Last time I checked, there's no such thing as solar-panel power airplanes. He doesn't support nuclear power either - and it's carbon free. So exactly where are all these new electric cars going get the electricity needed to recharge their batteries, while you left-wingers smuggly sip lattes at Starbucks? Again, those pesky laws of physics suggest that spackling the electric grids with wind turbines & photovoltaic cells just simply isn't going to cut it. Ever study something called AC Electrical Theory?! - try learning a little something about VARS & Frequency.

I give props to the evangelicals standing strong to their moral convictions. As a Christian I believe there are moral rights and wrongs. Even though I will be voting for the Democrat this election, it's my prayer that conservative ideas still influence social and family issues.

Before you call the moral message intolerant check your definition of tolerance. (intolerance = anything spoken against your beliefs). If you criticize the Christians for speaking their mind you must be intolerant yourself.

I agree – I'm a liberal but the conservatives have my sympathy, having to carry this dead-weight Evangelical base. Ugh. I can have a reasoned debate with economic conservatives (don't really agree with them but understand their point of view) - but social conservatives are just kooks. You can't reason with them. I think it's time both parties realigned and just ditched them.

Wow, a southern Baptist preacher (Huckabee) and a Mormon (Romney). The world is in turmoil now because of religion. What if the Bee and the Rom would have been on the same ticket? The world could be an inferno by now. McCain is war happy and both preachers are hypocrites. When you put a retired veteran with dementia with pseudo-Christians that equates to disaster, McCain would have America fighting Iranian, Iraqi’s, Afghastans, Pakistanis’, Russians, and any other country that vaguely cross his mind. And the two hypocrites would be touting God Bless America; while wishing other countries are wiped off the planet. This would be the result of religion combined with dementia.

CNN used to be known as the Clinton News Network. CNN knows that by flashing a headline that makes Mike Huckabee look disloyal to the Republican party, they increase public support for Romney, and decrease public support for Huckabee. The purpose of this tactic is to make sure that Huckabee is not the VP choice, because they fear that John McCain could win in November if Huckabee is on the ticket, and they know he will lose if Romney is the pick.

The real villain is the commercial media, who pretend to bring us the news, but engage in every trick they can think of to manipulate public opinion in the direction they want. Freedom of the press carries with it an obligation of objective reporting. All of the major commercial TV networks are guilty, and their power should be removed from them.

Huck was bad for Arkansas when he was the governor! He is the biggest loser....who claims to have loss weight naturally, but actually went through a weight loss pfrogam at a local hospital. He is a back stabber and use his religion to let convicted rapist and murders out of prison who then moves to another state and comit the same crimes!

BTW, he should have use the buddy system and had his wife go through the same program.

Huckabee is right. Romney is no more a conseravtive than McCain and perhaps less of one. I mean, this is the man that socialized medicine in his home state how can we believe he is a conservative?
Pick someone else Mr. McCain, many of us are already going to vote for you as a vote against Obama not as a vote for you. Don't make it harder than it will already be.
