What does that mean for most US Citizens? More of our (but not their) money will be taken out of our (but not their) paychecks before we (but not them) get them. Higher taxes hurt everyone because if an employer has to pay higher taxes, he's bound to have to lay off the last people hired or perhaps the older employee who may be eligible for retirement but who needed to work until he was eligible for Medicare.

"Ticker: Obama plan called 'economic disaster"...really? By who? Oh, if you actually read the article it was said by McCain. Ohhh. But of course you know most people will only read the headlines.

"New DNC Web video tries to link McCain to Abramoff scandal"...tries being the key word here. I have a feeling if this headline were for Obama it would go more like 'New Web Video links Obaman to scandal'. Of course, once you opened the article the headline would change and add that great little word, 'tries'.

It's new media like you that are putting a divide in this great country, not Republicans or Democrats.

I agree!! But which families would suffer?? I know. It would be the rich oil company CEOs. It would be Bushes & Cheneys. It would Cindy & John McWhine family who owns 10 houses, with a credit card debt of more than $250,000, wearing a $520 italian made shoes, and with an expansive expending habit. By the way, the link to this article is misleading. It read "Obama plan called 'economic disaster' ". That implies someone with credibility was criticizing it. How about retitling it "McCain continues hypocritcal attacks"?

You forgot to mention that the Wall Street Journal's Steve Moore has done the math on Obama's tax plan. He says it will add up to a 39.6% personal income tax, a 52.2% combined income and payroll tax, a 28% capital-gains tax, a 39.6% dividends tax and a 55% estate tax.

That's not a McCain campaign spin, that's the WSJ.
