Fay beginning to impact campaign trail

(CNN) - Strengthening Tropical Storm Fay, moving towards the United States, is beginning to have an impact on the campaign trail.

John McCain has canceled a trip to Miami for a fundraiser scheduled for Sunday night because of the storm. Instead, he is flying directly from Long Beach, California, to Orlando, Florida, where he speaks before the VFW convention Monday.

Barack Obama is scheduled to be in Florida Tuesday. No word yet if the storm may affect his plans.

Ironically, McCain had his plans changed by Hurricane Dolly last month. He was supposed to go by helicopter to an oil rig off the Louisiana coast for a high-profile drilling event at the same time Obama was in Europe. But the effects of Dolly in the Gulf caused that trip to be canceled.

I think the people of Florida deserve a rest from the War Monger. His propaganda isn't working.

The question should be ,"where has the Republican Party gone"?This is not the Party of smaller Government, less taxes and less intrusion. It should be renamed the "Globalist Party for Big Business". Ron Paul is the only person still in the race race that even mildly resembles a Republican.I would have voted for a team of both Ron Paul and Dennis Kusinich before these two Globalists.

I'm so disgusted with my choices for the presidential election this year, I had decided not to vote. Now though, since the so-called "moral right" have put abortion back on the table, I will vote for Obama.

Barack Obama is a naturalized citizen of the United States. He cannot hold the Office of President. His father is not a US Citizen. His mother was too young when he was born to make the cut off for his being a legitimate US Citizen. He doesn't want you to know this. This needs to come to the attention of the ATTORNEY GENERAL. A THOROUGH BACK GROUND CHECK ON HIS MOTHER WILL PROVE THIS TO BE FACT.

McCain's message came across loud and clear at the Rick Warren Saddleback Forum. Storms will not impede his momentum now! :)

Christians believe that we are stewards of life. Taking the life of a baby at any stage of gestation does not meet the moral standard of good stewardship.

These little ones in the womb or survivors of attempted abortions are certainly among "the least of these" spoken of in Matthew. Obama doesn't get it!

    McCain 08! He gets it!

I can't believe this is on a political ticker. This is a weather report!

I'm sure we'll have dumb people making comments that either Obama or McCain is being punished by god and that's why this is happening.

    I have an honest question.

If McCain is so sure that life starts at conception then how can McCain be pro-embryonic stem cell research? Which he is and said so last night.
In McCain's very clearly stated opinion he said an embryo was human life. Embryonic stem cell research kills a live embryo. Why is the murder of life OK in a lab but not in a woman's body?

Maybe it has to do with the preacher that wanted everyone to pray for rain on Obama's big speech night. And this is the backlash from the heavens on McCain!
