For the love of God, every day there is new "BUZZ" on who the candidates will select for their running mates. It is almost as bad as the ever present polls out there. ANNOYING

Doesn’t matter who he chooses, I will still be writing in Hillary's name come November. I invite and encourage all my PUMA brothers and sisters who cannot fathom the ridiculousness of an Obama presidency to do the same.

DOWN WITH OBAMA AND HIS RACIST WIFE!

Biden is the best pick. I believed Obama/Clinton would have been the dream ticket, but Clinton brings too much baggage. Because if you get Hillary, you also get Bill.

Joe Biden knows how to handle the Righties, he's also very strong in foreigh affairs. With Biden, Obama can't lose!

And for you Clinton supporters, your candidate ran a bad campaign get over it and stop using scapegoats to justify your defeat. This is a critical election and we can't help votes made or not made over spite. This is ridiculous, you all are old enough to vote, so start acting like grown ups, and do the responsible thing. Vote for the candidate that supports your ideas and views.

If you want America BACK people, Obama is the key. I have been a registered Republican all my life. Now I am not so sure about the policies of the Republican Party. Too bad, but now I am going to vote for the person who is for the little people because that is what most Americans are today. Not rich and priviledged like GW Bush and McCain (who's wife by the way is a multimillionaire). I just want a politician who can relate to; which bill should I pay this week (the phone or the car payment)? Do you really think the aforementioned politians know anything about how most Americans struggle? Me, I am voting for the man who has been there, and can still remember and isn't ashamed to talk about his struggles. Come on people, THINK, make a good decision!

Being a long time democrat who has voted since President Carter's time, I find it hard to believe that I can not even force myself to vote for Obama.
I won't go into detail as to why I won't vote for him but I will give some clues;
1. Obama's voting for FISA and the allowing the telecommunications act to stay intact with added repressions on american's privacy (stamping on our 4th amendment rights, undercutting our freedoms)
2. Lack of politcal stances that one can count on. He has swung so many times in the last couple of months from saying he will do one thing and doing another. I just don't trust him.
3. His dissing of HRC and our ex-president Bill Clinton who he allowed his entire troop of followers to join in saying that he was a racist. Unbelievable lack of respect for the democrats greatest president in our lifetime.
4. DNC's rigging of having Obama nominated and I won't go into detail because Everyone knows the story.
I'll be voting for McCain because I trust him. I do not like a number of his policies because I am and have been a pretty progressive democrat all of my life. I'll tell you one thing though; I will not allow the DNC to force a candidate down my throat and then
believe that us old democrats are between a rock and a hard place and that we have no choice other than voting for Obama. I think that the DNC needs to learn a lesson and lose this election and I'll just wait until the 4 years have gone by with McCain as president and see whether the democratic party has restored themselves to some semblance of sanity. I'm not alone in these thoughts, there are many many loyal democrats in this same position that I am in. It will cost Obama plenty of votes.

A candidate with minimal political experience and a complete lack of military experience, relying on a VP (and presumably a Sec. of Def.) with substantial foreign policy experience when making military decisions...hmmm...are we talking Bush-Cheney or Obama-Biden?

I would love to see Obama/Bidden working to bring this country back to the celebrity mode it once held.

If McCain wins this year you better bet that there will be a big push against the Clintons in 2012 and will be the first to sign up. The Clintons are hurting Obama right now along with their radical supporters. They better get there act together or this will be the end for Hillary. Obama has no control over Bill or Hillary and that is exactly why she cannot be the VP. They are both out of control.

Look for grandpa McMunster to annouce his candidate soon after Obama. McCain has no original thoughts and he's more obsessed with Obama than the media is. His commercials talk more about Obama than himself!

I'm sure that McCain will pick someone that shares his affection with ABBA and that who will have no problems dancing with him to "Dancing Queen."

I've said it before, I'll say it again:

John McCain. Turning the red states pink.

Ms. Vee- NJ
Biden is my choice for for OBAMA's VP. He's the Dick Chenny that every PREZ needs. An interivewer told Dick Chenney that most American people thought the war in Iraq was not necessary, he looked straight in the interviewers face and said " I don't care what the american people think" . That was OK because Chenney said it. Biden is the only other person that could do that.

Obama could clone Lincoln from DNA and select him as a running mate. It still wouldn't matter.

Forget his inexperience...forget his ultra-liberal leanings; Obama does not posess the character to be President of the United States.

Those PUMA supporters are going to get a rude awakening if McCain actually wins and suddenly starts stripping our country of what few rights Bush didn't take away. I'm pretty sure HRC never came out in favor of greater tax breaks for the rich, a Supreme Court in the mold of Alito and Scalia, and a country without legal access to safe abortions.

Obama and Biden will do a great job, and will make me even prouder to be a young, educated American Soldier as opposed to an old, scared, illiterate white cracker.

Oh good, now we can add the fact that Biden <b>BASHED OUR TROOPS</b> right along with Kerry, Murtha, Pelosi, and some others to the campaign.

It is one thing to bash Bush, but <b>bashing our troops and lying about them </b> the way that Biden did is <b>unforgivable</b>.

The likes of Biden, Kerry, Murtha, and Pelosi <b> need to go</b>.

To accuse Sen McCain of cheating in the Saddelback forum by violating the cone of silence just goes to show the depths the Obamabots will sink to protect The Messiah!

If you will not take Sen McCain at his word that he did NOT violoate the "cone of silence", if you are going to call Sen. McCain a liar and cheat, the why should we take Sen. Obama at his word that he was never Muslim, that he did nothing wrong with Tony Rezko, that he never heard those inflammatory rhetoric fr Rev Wright and on and on?

It works both ways!! The fact that because Obama did poorly at that forum, his kool-aid drinking followers now want to discredit it! Obama is using gutter politics straight fr so. side of Chicago!

If there was ever a contest on intergrity and honesty, I would say McCain would win hands down.

No one has the b@lls to say but its clear the Clintons have prevented Obama from taking ownership of the DEM party up to this point and as far as I am concerned they are slowly killing the future of America with their selfishness and Obama is lacking is taking tough leadership decisions at the DEM Party level.
Does McCain know the difference between COURAGE and WISDOM?

Biden has his strengths from Obama's perspective.

Biden's run for President twice ... there likely is ZERO baggage lurking with him.

A democrat would most likely succeed Biden in the Senate seat from Delaware.

Biden won't take no bull ____ t from the GOP. He'll make a good "bad" cop. That would play well in Appalachia.

Biden shores up the foriegn affairs element of the team.

Barack trusts that Biden's intentions are honorable.

That trust means that Barack can work with Biden as his final consigliere.

A good team ....

Tie in General Powell as an advisor of some sort and this is a winner from a competency perspective.

Joe Biden doesn't deliver any particular electoral state or region but should play well in Pennsylvania, Virginia and parts of Ohio.

I am so sick of the negative comments made by Hillary supporters. Do you know you're the main reason so many of us have trouble warming up to Hillary? I feel the hate in your words.

Stop degrading Obama supporters. Many of us are highly educated. I have a graduate degree, and I have been voting since 1976 so I know a thing or two, also, about American democracy. All of us are committed to making sure our country doesn't continue down the wrong path, as it has for the last eight years.

Put away your misguided feminism and vote for the good of your country.

Biden is a very wise choice to manage the White House under the leadership of Obama. Biden is certainly the "anti-Cheney" who holds the title of the most creepy VP in modern times. The republicans don't have a pool of VP choices that Americans feel they can trust. It's time to have an open, and friendly White House that doesn't believe "honesty is the definition of weakness" as Bush and Cheney have shown. January 2009 can't come soon enough for me, because we need to show the international community that we can be trusted, and respected. Bush has caused our friendly allies to despise America, not to mention our political adversaries.

I can't wait for him to make this pick, so that my instinct about him will be proven correct. That America's flawed election process picked the wrong nominee, and that he is not the best candidate. The only way he is getting hillary's voters is to have her as his running mate, since it doesn't appear he is going to do that, then he won't get my vote or the vote of many other hillary supporters. Good Luck cheater

Biden is a big blow hard....anytime you see him on TV or C-Span, he's rambling on and on, enjoying hearing himself talk. He is in love with himself and brings NOTHING to the table for Obama (except some experience which Obama lacks).

Obama is not doing so well now in the polls because people are seeing him having to handle questions and he doesn't have a script in front of him.

HE IS TOO INEXPERIENCED TO BE PRESIDENT. He will lose in November and Hitlery will run in 2012 (and bring Bill along for the ride).
