Why are so many Obama supporters being so crude by name-calling Senator McCain as McSame, McShame, McComplain, or McBush? Is this the general intellect level of his supporters, unable to sustain a coherent argument on facts? I wonder how they would react if Republican supporters began referring to their candidate as OSAMA.

Yes America, keep turning blue for Obama!

As someone from outside the States, I can say that the whole world is watching America. Obama is the candidate that will drive America into the 21st century with the rest of the world. If McCain wins, it will be a disaster not only to America, but to the world. We've seen how he reacted to Russian-Georgia in a very dangerous way that could possibly catapult the world in another WW. All McCain knows is war, that is why he is so direct. Obama goes "um, uh, uh.." because he is a thinking man, he is a man who can certainly think of ways to make America and the world better, not jumping into conflict like McCain would.

The world is watching...

Obama won, get over it. Hillary lost because Obama was the better candidate. He is doing well in places like Colorado because the people are seeing what a disaster the Bush administration was, and are looking for a viable alternative, which they have found in Obama.
Or, are you just frustrated because McCain would have trounced Hillary in Colorado?

On a more serious note, the other night reflects Obama's biggest fault as a candidate (besides no experience) – he is great in prepared speeches but is not very good when put on the spot. Hillary wiped the floor of him in their debates and I imagine McCain will do the same. There is a reason why he wanted as few debates as possible – he just isn't good at them.

This poll originally came out last week. Colorado would be the third state to go red in over a week. The states that have gone red over the last week are Nevada, Virginia, Colorado, and most recently Ohio.

Obama – 275
McCain – 263

Obama just needs to screw up in Indiana, Minnesota or some other state.

I do not believe any of these polls for the simple reason that they don't add up. Obama is leading in basically all categories, young, women, workers, highly educated, AA, hispanics, but we should believe it's a tie. The one thing that amaze me is people are always talking about the small lead that Senator Obama has in the polls. Senator McCain just like Senator Clinton is a household name and should be leading in all the polls and with larger numbers even with the fact the we in been in a poor Republican Administration for almost 8 years. I think people haven't really been paying that much attention to who is running and will start to watch things more closely now that we are in general election mode now. When they take in to consideration the Iraq war that we should have never been in in the first place, gas prices, hard economic times, etc. – they should ask themselves how did we get here? – as I see it a Republican Administration.

For millionaires: if you want lower taxes, vote McCain, if you want higher taxes vote Obama

For the 95% of Americans who are not millionaires: If you want HIGHER taxes vote McCain, if you want a $1000 tax cut, vote Obama.

How could someone like John McCain accuse any person about "FAILURE OF JUDGEMENT" ?
Judgement failure ? John McCain was wrong on Afghanistan, on Iraq, On Iran, on North Korea, on Pakistan, on Georgia, on former President Parvez Musharraf and on villain President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili.
John McCain was also wrong on Veterans Benefits and the Department of Veterans Affairs. For the last 25 years or so, John McCain didn't have the time to reform and help the Veterans ? Now John McCain says he will reform the Department of Veterans Affairs, IF, and only IF he is elected. Not bad old man John McCain, may be by the time you are 100 years old you will make the same promise of reforming and helping the Veterans, not bad.
According to the Old Man John McCain probably he doesn't know what really "FAILURE OF JEFGEMENT" means.
Do we need to care much about the polls ? We no for sure that this disastrous policies of George Bush will NOT ON FOREVER.

In the introduction to the "Forum on faith" on tv, it was said that McCain considers himself Baptist, but has never been Baptised. Now McCain says that he has been "saved and forgiven". Will someone clarify this please?
When did he get baptised and did he do it this year? If he got baptised this recently, then he is not really doing it to be truly saved, but only to get the evangelical vote.
If he did NOT get Baptised and LIED that he did, that is disrespectful to God in EVERY religion.

My point is not actually about religion, but rather integrity. It doesn't matter if you're Christian, Buddhist, Jewish, or even Muslim. What matters is if you lie about it, then you have No faith/no integrity at all.

I notice, on your map, that WV is leaning toward McCain. What would happen if Obama picked Jay Rockefeller instead of Biden? They have similar qualifications and Rockefeller is speaking at the convention the same night. Would that put WV in play? And what would that do to some of the surrounding states (Ohio, PA, VA)? Just a thought....
