(CNN) – Barack Obama's campaign confirms that the Illinois senator will hold an event in his home state Saturday, kicking off the "roll into the convention" - but would not confirm or deny reports that he might be joined on stage by a running mate.

The event will be held in the Old State Capitol in Springfield - where Obama first launched his presidential bid a year and a half ago.

...Oh I really Thank and appreciate the educated, intelligent and truly patriotic americans supporting Barack. I only hope there are enough of us to get him elected. I really have doubts if we still require a High School education here in America. Most people that extend their education, realize Barack Obama is a "thinker" and therefore most of his supporters can relate. Even if you haven't received a formal education and support Barack, you deserve to be commended for realizing his qualities and simply looking past the foolishness.

Now.... McCain supporters, PUMA's with all their hate....Not so much!

Oh come on people! Get over the fact that Hillary lost. She did, its over! And if your going to vote McShame in spite of her loss, then good luck looking into the eyes of your children and grandchildren. Can you do that to them? Of course not, plus we know your just McCain supporters being paid per blog submission. Democrats ARE smarter than that, and we know better.

"Don't be an idiot, Obama? The only sensible choice is Hillary Clinton as your VP. If you want to unify the party, it is the only choice".

I've goodnews for you Ann. We've moved ahead on unifying the party. We're now working on unifying the country. but you can help by sending Hillary you paycheck for the rest of the year.

Remember the USA credit card has 10 trillion dollars in debt, Divine Grace of the Regan and Bush Administration. (Regan 3.5 trillion, Bush 6.5 trillion)

Now will be time to balance the budget and start paying the debt, just as President Clinton did.
President Obama will have a huge problem to solve.

Funny how Hilliary has all of these 18 million suppoters but she is still in debt. She should ask the PUMAS to donate 2 bucks each. If this is done she would get ahead start on 2012.

The sad thing is all of you so called PUMAS would suddenly dissapear.

"I wonder if any of his political rivals from Chicago have been invited who he shafted 8 years ago with his dirty tricks stunt to get into power."

I wonder if McCain will finally acknowledge his first family and have his older children on stage with him at his convention or will he just completely ignore them like his daughter Megan McCain has done.

  25. INSANE IN THE MCCAIN

Somebody please answer why they think Clinton would win. All I hear is that she would definately win and Obama has no chance. It is baffling that people are that delusional. Hillarry lost the primary, is the most polarizing figure in politics, has promoted disunity (in both parties and bipartisan efforts),and Republicans hate her so much they would actually unify to whoop her butt by a landslide.
