To Chris, NJ; Congress was controlled by repubs for six years of this administration and did every thing good old George ask them for including invading a country that was no threat to us . But has cost us over 4100 troops and trillions of dollars. And the master mind of 9-11 is still at large, but Bin-Laden does not have oil right.I can still see Bush standing at ground zero and telling Bin-Laden we will get you and yelling do you hear me.Now John mcBush says he knows how to get Bin-Laden , but why has he not shared his knowledge with the troops so we could have gotten him?John McBush just more of Bush. OBAMA

As a Hillary Democrat, I sure would like to see him select this woman. Then, Hillary ought to team with Michael Bloomberg on an independent ticket....call it the dream ticket. Since Obama was voting "present" just 4 years ago in the Illinois state legislature and Caroline has diddly doo experience, this is Saturday Night Live folks. Oh, this party has become a joke and dissed Hillary who would have brought victory.

A Kennedy is better than a Clinton any day of the week. Since she shared Sen. Obama's view on the Iraq war, she seems like a logical choice for the VP. I like Joe Biden, but I believe he will serve better as Secretary of State or Secretary of Defense. Obama-Kennedy has a real good ring to it.

An inexperienced and naive candidate picking a running mate who is even more so.

Democrats, you still have time to correct this error and nominate Hillary! Don't let the Dean, Pelosi, Reid Troika dictate your choices!

If this country can elect Ronald Regan President and look back on his 8 years with awe, Why can't we realize that the President and Vice president are there to give us hope and that THEY have the Technical and political staffs to do the grunt work of formulatting policy decisions and legislation.

I for one agee that this ticket while not techinaclly deep has the chance to appeal to our hopes and dreams of a better country and a better life.

While they are younger than me, I still remember how I felt in November 1963 and how I dealt with my deployment to Vietnam in 1972.

For me this is a win win ticket that overcomes a lot of the bitter infighting of the primaries.

Guess I already voted, and the convention hasn't haqppened yet.

I love the fact that Michael Moore in one phrase sums up the ignorance of the liberals. "wow, that sounds cool"

actually, i would like to tank him, after all, if Obama makes his pick based on being cool, it will make it that much easier for McCain

What people are forgetting is that the sole reason why Caroline Kennedy is well respected, unlike her uncle Ted, is because she stays out of politics. She advocates causes and yes she had early on come out and voiced support for Obama but throughout most of her life Caroline Kennedy has been apolitical and that will all change once she decides to run for office. Her family will be held to closer scrutiny and there won't be a think they could do about it.

I'd support Caroline anyday. Who needs "experience"? Bush has experience. Do we want him to be President still?
I think experience is overrated. Obama will water his message of change down if he pays too much attention to the experience claim. Why did Schwarzenegger win California when he had experience as an actor?
Obama does not need a white male near retirement age to bring about change. I say that as a white male tired of seeing the same old people ascend to the office of president.

Get over yourself Susan, Hillary is backing Obama. it is time for the "Shillaries" to do so also. Kennedy would be a great choice and so would an individual with foreign policy experience, which i think Obama could benefit from, either way Obama should be our next President.

Chris, you must be kidding! Are you unaware of all the signing statements from this president? King George has made the Senate with its huge majority of 1 impotent (filibusters have taken care of the rest). If you have enjoyed the past 8 years of hell, vote for McCain who is more Bush with a memory deficit and a bad temper.

Biden or Kennedy, doesn't matter, only one name matters for him to WIN, that is Clinton. 18 million voters can't be wrong, and make no mistake will support McCain if Hillary is not on the ticket.

Its not going to happen. For those that call Obama an elitest- I not sure you are either very wealth or to put it politely easily fooled.

Obama has a house- McCain has 9 or 10. Obama raised by his mother and grandparents. McCain- Son of an Admiral (comparable to a Sr. Exec at a major corp) Obama is a family man. McCain divorced his first wife who waited for him as a POW. Got the Blonde chick with money.

Lets talk about values.

I'd love that ticket! And, note to Susan, there are A LOT of us who wont vote for *any* ticket with Hillary on it. In fact, if I lived in NY, I would vote against her there. I'm sick to death of the Clinton's and their Byzantine plots, their divisive politics, their crookedness, and all of those scandles! The Cltinon's are about the closest thing we have to Bush and he has been an absolute disaster! Grow up! She lost for good reason. As for those "18 million votes", at least 1/3 of them were Republican's, bent on mischief. Most of the rest of her primary voters have gotten over it and are supporting Obama. The only people left squawking are a few tired old feminist nutjobs like you. If you're going to commit suicide and vote for McCain, fine! Do it, but please just shut up and leave the rest of us out of your skreeds.

Caroline Kennedy is great, but I want a VP with something other than a name.

Anyone who thinks this country is on the wrong track AND plans of voting for McCain is out of their mind.

I think Barack will make the smart choice he feels will win. I don't think Hillary should be VP, I think she would be a great Secretary of State, she is strong and needs to be highly visable. I think Joe Biden should be Secretary of Defense. The VP should be somebody, that will be loyal to Barack and has his best interest at heart, not their on ambitions, which is why it can't be Hillary. The person should be ready to be President, must be 1000% with Barack on his plans to change Government In Washington and bring the war to a responsible end. I'm sure Barack knows who that person is, so let's just wait for the text or email from him.

That would be a horrible idea. Put a VP canidate with no experience other than being a Kennedy on a ticket with Obama who has already been relentlessly criticized for not having enough experience. That decision would be the equivalent of Obama shooting himself in the foot. He needs to choose somebody that can stand up to the right wing on foreign policy issues. Biden would be a terrific pick. Even though he voted for the Iraq war, he has been a vocal critic of the war strategy and in my opinion is very knowledgeable about foreign affairs.

Susan, you have a choice of either not voting or voting for someone other than Barack Obama. But the consequences of doing either of those will be yours to live with. What is it about Hillary supporters that make them so inflexible and willing to work with others? So sad.

This is just dumb. Together Carolyn and Obama would represent the "hype" ticket. All hype with Obama as the celeb and Carolyn's famous last name. They will lose for sure in the fall.

What is Michael Moore's agenda? Mccain wins so he can make another movie or write a book.

I still think Wesley Clark is the right choice. He has all the right credentials and probably one of the few military leaders ever to conduct a war (Kosovo) that yielded not one American casualty.

That's a whoooole lot better than the current wars in Iraq or Afghanistan. I would love to see him take over and bring those two conflicts to resolution.

Plus his military record blows McCain's out of the water and as that's the basis of McCain's platform, he won't stand a chance.

I have great respect and admiration for Caroline Kennedy but I don't think Senator Obama will select her. I think he'll use her when he gets elected as President. I believe Senator(s) Biden, Kaine and Bayh has a better chance. I feel Caroline Kennedy has done outstanding work in the background.
