When the primaries boiled down to Obama vs. Clinton, I went with Clinton, buth because she was more experienced and because her work in the Senate earned her a solid reelection to a second term. I didn't consider Obama then because he lacks experience in major political office, something that hasn't changed simply because he beat Clinton and Richardson in the primaries. His 3+ years in the U.S. compares to the ineffective Jimmy Carter's 4 years as Georgia governor and George Bush's 6 years as Texas governor - which only covered three legislative sessions (they only meet every other year). It's the toughest job in the world. Given the records of those who've won as Washington outsiders with limited experience, and I don't want a repeat of that. I'm not a big fan of McCain, but he has the necessary experience and there will be a Democrat-controlled congress to keep him in check.
