You know, I am an Obama supporter, who couldn't stand Congresswoman Tubbs Jones during the campaign. She was so good supporting Hillary Clinton. One had to admire her debates on TV, because she was so well informed, and oh so loyal. Obama could have really used her skills going forward, but we know that she will be looking down on us, making sure that we continue the move towards change. May god bless her sole, and her family. she was the geniune article. I interned in her DC office...not from her district. She spoke what she believed and was beholden to no-one. She put in long hours, forged compromises across the aisle and was actively involved.

I'm sad today. she took time to talk to kids, students, visitors everyone. Most people in congress don't do that. she was a very bright lady too.

Simply heartbreaking. She was a truly inspiring person...not to mention so productive in giving back to community. When you add in the conviction and enthusiasm with which she supported Senator Clinton...so many who didn't know her came to love her genuine spirit. You didn't have to be on the Congresswoman's side to know she was the real deal. Such a sad loss...and much too soon.
