For reals, if you want more of Bush policy then vote for McCain.

American politics is SOOOO different from Canadian.
If a Canadian leader had wanted to throw his wife into a topless, banana eating, pickle sucking contest with fat old men in stinky clothes, his party WOULD have been scrambling to find a replacement, and his career would be over. Add to the that, 'I don't know how many houses I own.'
SOMEBODY should get McCain bragging about crossing party lines and being the bipartisan hero with the Committee they ran to hide all the POW files. WHY doesn't he want to bring this marvelous part of his resume forward. (Maybe it is the October Surprise?)
Can SOMEBODY explain what it took to be offered early release from the Cong, which his daddy turned down, not him!
He tries to committ suicide and he is hero!!!
Speaking for the real heros who were POWS of the Cong, they did not talk, so they are dead.
I AGREE 100% with Ross Perot's opinion of McCain, and he knew him better than most.

600 other men were pows in the 'hilton' of vietnam.mccain was offered early release as a gesture to his father Admiril Mccain. lt. cmdr. mccain,refused and was an instant hero to america.however,he forgets to mention,that any one of the other 599 pows, would have without question,done the exact same thing. mccain's 'cross' story was never mentioned in any articles books reports quotes etc.,until he began his first presidential race in 1999,his "favorite author,solhenetzin,was a political prisoner in russia ,and related a very similar story in a book."i'm not calling anyone a liar,but, i think he has 'embellished his story to fit with his fav authors story",for the extra votes he may get from religious folks.is this another 'bosnia sniper- gate' issue?

I can't stand the Republican party and John McCain's criticisms of Democrats that are more true of themselves. Elitism, celebrity, responsibility for our current energy problems, irresponsible tax policy, obstructionism toward energy indepedence, effective allocation of our military resources, unamerican, unpatriotic and racist are all accusations at least alluded to by McCain and his campaign that are more true of McCain and the leaders of his political party.

Why isn't the story about McCain once again not knowing anything. HE doesn't know how many houses he owns. COME ON CNN.. this man is clearly UNFIT to be the President. He is suffering some sort of mental illness. He has to be steadied by Nurse Cindy everytime he walks up and down steps or stairs.. McCain remember Czechoslovakia, now the Czech Republic.. McCain also believes Iraq and Pakistan share a border.

For us republicans is dificult to convince the population that the Bush's administration has been wrong and bad all along, because actually we republicans had been in control of congress for 7 out of the 8 years of this admonistration. We have not benn conserative (money wise) at all!, from torture to wire tapping to have Chenney erased 10 pages of the EPA report about global warming, to the communist China free trade, big tax cuts for corporations... you name it, I mean, companies are not leaving because we do not have skill workers, they are leaving because 1- huge tax breaks from this administration, 2-cheap labor. 3- infrastructure.

You are right. That was a defining moment. A moment where Obama answered the question honestly without presuming to be God like McCain who presumes he can define (as God) when life begins.

It is interesting how some on the right accuse Obama supporters for blindly following Obama as if he were a God when it is Obama who admits he is not God and McCain who presumes he is God. In his statement "at the point of conception" McCain was pandering to the evangelical audience and you know it. Now he is teasing the Republicans with a potential VP pick who is pro-choice. He'll tell the evangelicals life begins at conception to get their vote and then to get the vote of moderates and independents he just might pick a pro-choice candidate for VP. Sounds to me that while McCain presumes he is God he is in actuality acting the part of a little devil.

Reid, you sold the democratic party when you and your cohorts selected such a candidate such as Obama.

Everyone sees how corrupt the democratic party is with it"s selecting of a candiate instead of electing that person, how totally corrupt the primary caucuses are, how the super delegates such as yourself, Pelosi, Dean, Brazile et als, and the DNC's non-partiality during the primaries.

All of you meat heads will be voted out of office as soon as your district comes up for re-election.

And last but not least, no one cares whether or not you can't stand Senator John McCain but because of you and your parties corruption he will probably end of being the POTUS.

Unless of course, Hillary R. Clinton wins the nomination at the Denver Convention when her name is placed in Nomination in the First Roll Call and she win by a huge margin....
