Source: Obama was 'hung up' on change vs. experience

While making the rounds in Virginia Thursday, Sen. Obama told reporters that he'd decided on a running mate but refused to say any more.
While making the rounds in Virginia Thursday, Sen. Obama told reporters that he'd decided on a running mate but refused to say any more.

(CNN) - The VP choice was a difficult one for Obama, a source close to the Illinois senator tells CNN's Gloria Borger.

Watch: "I've made the selection," says Obama

Specifically Obama was "very hung up on the experience versus change,” the source said, and how his message of change may conflict with a longtime Washington insider.

The source doesn't know who Obama ultimately chose, but confirms Sens. Joe Biden and Evan Bayh, along with Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine are all in the running.

For decades this country has been mis managed by males. Hillary's message has 'stuck' because who better to know the needs of the children than a mother. Who better to defend a country than that who took an oath to love honor and cherish her husband who in the face of adversity was the last male president who ran this country with respect, prosperity and pean as his 3 montras

Well now we have one male too full of himself and the other either in cahoots with GW if you believe that crap or can't remember that 5.3M people have lost their homes and the economy is in the crapper!

With Hillary's name going on the ballot and Caroline Kennedy in the mix we not only get experience who's focus in on our children's future, we get the bonus of the 2nd spot going to historicall a brillant family in the political arena and you get 2 women who care about our children as our leaders.

Now those are the 2 people you want to not only be able to answer the phone at 3am but have the intellectual capacity to understand what the 1st important step would be 'THINK ABOUT OUR CHILDREN'

Who care what Hillary Clinton has to say. What has she actually done for New York since she has been Senator. Another thing for the records when she was First Lady she was out running for Senator in New York and she did not even live there. They were from Ark. By the way, how many homes do they have? Hillary Clinton only stood by her man because it was in the making for her to run for President in the next election. Well it happened didn't it? I still think Bill Clinton should have to pay the Government money back for all that was spent for his lying about Monica. Supposedly they did not have too much money when he left the White House but ,my oh my at the money he made on his book that he wrote and all the money he pulled in doing speaking engagements. I would never have his book in my home. Have all US citizens forgotten this? Hello Democrats.

So Obama has a tough time making decisions. I'm sure glad that being President doesn't require decisions. Saddleback showed McCain is decisive, and Obama can't answer a simple question without a bunch of equivocating. God help us if we have incoming Russian missiles, and Obama has to decide what to do.

All HRC bloggers say she had 18 million votes...so where the hell are they??? NOT retiring her debt thats for sure. There's no way Obama needs Hillary OR her "supporters". They are so hate filled and biased that there's no way they'd vote Obama even with her on as VP. They just want to mouth off which they do very well. Vote McCain or whatever. Nobody cares...you'll have to live with the results of your actions!

I am thrilled Barack is NOT paying for Hillary's debt! My gosh her and slick willy have 110 million! She chose to go on and she almost destroyed the party as well. What a terrible person she is. I pray Barack does NOT pick her as VP I will be so disappointed.

Clinton or Colin Powell-he'd win in a landslide with either, and I love Hill, but I would really love to see Powell take this on. Then Hillary can be Sec. of State and then on the Supreme Court.

You are reporting that Clinton supporters are not signing on with O'Bama. I am wondering how many O'Bama supports would have gone over to the other side if Clinton had won the nomination.

so the great obama is now reduced to having to find a running mate who will help him beat the old washed up Washington style politician, who shouldn't even be in this race. all McCain as to do is find someone who won't pull him down, he is doing all right by himself. the democrats are starting to sound like they are trying to convince themselves instead of the public everytime one of them is on tv they keep repeating the same thing over and over almost word for word obama himself is starting to sound like a broken record and his voice is changing. getting aggravating actually and they could of had Hillary

Oh, have you heard that Mohammad Ali wants to be in Denver? Use to be Cashus Clay until he became a Muslim to avoid the draft. Changed his name and religion to be able to keep boxing and making tons of money.
