If Obama has to win he has to pick either one of the following 3:

1st choice : Hillary (ignore Bill)
2nd choice: Wesley Clark (will make McCain look small)
3rd choice: Biden

Bayh, Kaine or Sebelius does not do it for him

Dear Tim, Seattle:
The reason PUMA lives, and you can't understand why we are against Obama when he and Hillary have the same stands, is because he is a inexperienced boob who has only 3-4 years in the senate. That is all. HE HAS NO EXPERIENCE AND IS EGOTISTICAL WITH THAT!! Hillary was run out by the DNC because they wanted a young, "ego man". Now, does that explain it?

What difference does it make who the VP is, won't change the fact tha Obama is not experienced enough to lead our country...and if he has to have people around him to pick up his slack that just makes it worse. He needs to go back to his dirty Chicago politics and get some more skills. There is NO suitable candidate running now...this country will have to dig itself out of the muck and mire after these upcoming four years. I can't imagine how such powerful political parties couldn't even come up with viable candidates and leave us with McCain and Obama...seriously frightening.

What about the suggestion from Michael Moore, that Obama select Caroline Kennedy as his running mate. She has great name recognition and would come as someone from outside the system. Maybe the media should give some attention to this as a possibility.

Chuck Hagel should be the VP. Obama could show us that he is really different and will put the people first by crossing party line for his VP.

Obama/Hagel

Don't know if the President will be Obama or McSame, but... thank God it won't be Hillary!

I think Obama is a genuine and decent person but I don't think he can be a President because he lives in a dream world . I think the world is too far gone for someone like him to fix. We need someone who knows how to play the game and deal with the threats from other countries (they are not nice like Obama) it is a hard core world and experience and knowledge does count. He just doesn't have it. Too bad but it is the truth.

I laugh when people say they are sick of the Clintons, these people must have not purchased or sold a home during the Clinton era with amazing returns on investments, or enjoyed a robust economy with no national debt. McCain looked more presidential on the CNN profiles last night. It was men flying navy jets vs. boys playing basketball. I am suprised the CNN obama network would shine the light so favorably on McCain. War Hero vs. a troubled youth who used drugs. Left me stunned quite actually. I am sure Obama's college youth base was not tuned in.

You know I've always wondered, if HRC had won the nomination if her supporters would appreciate Obama supporters basically forcing him down her throats. Or IF they'd allow her to make her own decision and SUPPORT her regardless. Because I know my support wouldn't be on a CONTINGENT basis.

Just a thought...

Do you think there's a chance that Obama will win without having Hillary on the ticket?

We're just a few short months before the election and I still have no clue what Obama stands for except a blanket word "change"...

CNN I know you're avoiding it by not posting my comments, but it has to get out there in a big way and let America choose if they still want this man as President or not. Whether you're Pro-Choice or Pro-Life I think all will concur that a baby born fully formed after 20-22 weeks and survives the birthing process has a right to receive medical treatment for a chance to live. Senator Obama said no and voted for this post birth abortion. It's on record and he still emphatically denies doing so. Check it out.

Kaine??? He trumpets how well Virginia is run, and is faced with a deficit that wasn't there when Allen was governor. Some management there, Gov. Kaine.

And his response? He won't raise taxes because he knows it is political suicide to do so in VA.

So what will he do? Cut services in the Red parts of the state to send money to the Blue parts.

Yeah, I really want him to do for the country what he did for VA. Good thing I am no longer a Virginian.

I really think that the Obama anti-Hillary folks and the pick-Hillary folks or else we vote for McCain folks really need to chill. This election is too important for intra-party squabblling at this point. No matter what happened in the primaries and who Obama picks we must stand united to defeat the republicans!

TO: Texan going independent

I couldn't agree with you more!! Not only will BHO's lack of experience, the media an HD will keep me from voting for him, but his SUPPORTERS! LET'S SEE WHAT THEY SAY WHEN HE LOSES. IF HE'S SO GREAT WHY HASN'T HE MOVED UP IN THE POLLS SINCE HRC MOVED OUT OF THE WAY? WHY? It is scary to think that those who support BHO are so darn immature and mean. My conscious will not let me vote for him. Those that I know personally who support him act just like the bloggers here. Also, it's not up to HRC to get him support -- it is up to BHO to do. I wonder why he cannot do it.

How about Martin Sheen or Gena Davis for Obama's VP? They've both played the President on TV, and they certainly have the star power. Why, they would bring even more of the same kind of change!

President Obama will do the right thing in picking the best VP. I'm getting used to the words President Obama, because it will be true, or God help this country. George Bush has trashed it, and McCain doesn't appear to see the trash. He thinks everything is fine.

To Eddie Blake,

What the @#$% are talking about or suggesting? Sharia law? Oh yeah, and it's "two words", not "to words." Some of you are complete idiots.

This is a psychological ploy by the Reeps to make us believe anything they say or write. The solution to this is to disegard the information. Some of you are giving up on Obama, because you are succumbing to the Reeps plan of Psych. persuasion. What happened to your staying power and strength?

I know what I am suggesting is hard but we tend to believe what we see on T.V. is true, like the negative ads. Please be mentally strong and simply don't believe it. McCain has shown that he will SAY ANYTHING TO WIN.

If Obama does not pick Clinton - we might as well get ready for another 4 years of Republican rule. This is truly the reality. I hope to God Obama is not that dumb.

I am still waiting for my text message stating that Hillary is the pick....

OPEN YOUR 3RD EYE -

I completely agree. After 8 years of Bush, why can't American's stop making the same mistakes? McCain is offering much of the same policies for the economy, taxes and foreign policy. He will continue to run this country into the ground just like Bush. If McCain is elected and does exactly as Bush, I will seriously have to consider moving.

I agree with you liberals on one thing for sure. You will never be living with torture because you people are to much of a coward to serve your country. That is a fact. You liberals are brave people as long as someone else is doing the lifting or fighting. As far as Obama being so intelligent and graduating from Harvard. If you look at all these Harvard and Yale graduates you will find most presidents of either party has come from one of these schools and that is the reason this country is in the condition that it is. We need another Harry Truman type of president. Probably the best we ever had and he did not go to either of these fancy schools. GW Bush and OBama both did.

If for any reason Obama was to lose this election... You people are dreaming when you state that H. CLINTON would be president in 2012.
The loss would be her fault and her pathetic feminist supporters' fault. Can u say Backlash! She wouldn't even make it out of the primaries 2012...

Its like watching a comedy that the Obama campaign has the MSM in such a tizzy because he said that he will make his decision by the end of the week on his VP pick. The MSM is on a wild goose chase to find out. There is a method to the madness. You better recognize.

She can serve the party in the Senate and we need her support there more. Get over it and get on with it. We are voting ISSUES folks.
Your life and the lives of your children may depend on it.
I trust Obama in regard to VP. Selecting Hillary would be a huge mistake given her history and credibilty.

Hillary on the ticket? Why is this still a topic of discussion? Oh yes, b/c it would be the dream come true for McCain. Nothing else would energize the Repugs like Hill on the ticket.

If he picks the Va Governor he is a bigger fool than I originally thought. Another unknown with no experience just like him. He doesn't want anyone that can take any of the spotlight away from him. Talk about AUDACITY....how about Audacity of Arrogance ...that would be Obama holding his acceptance speech at the stadium. So that he can have 75,000 cheering him....I hope it rains....he makes me sick and I am a democrat. Hillary as VP or McCain gets the vote!

It does matter who Obama picks. It does matter if anyone truly thinks that McCain has the ability to lead this nation. We are in a war that he strongly supported and continues to support, he is talking trash to Russia and have no way to back it up and he is out of touch. You can continue to put uneducated millionaires in the Whitehouse and you will continue to struggle. You should not be tricked by oil prices following. They also dropped before the last election only to reach record highs shortly after it was all over.

a vote for John Mccain is a vote for…

SENATOR HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON FOR PRESIDENT 2012!!!!!!!!!!"

So you'd rather see our country go further down the tubes just to prove your point that Hillary should be Prez? Real patriotic of you, Texan!

As soon as Obama,s numbers start to fall. The media is waiting to catch him. Over loading websites/news programs with talk about his Vp. If they don't know who it is going to be then why do they bombard us with it could be this guy or that guy or one of those other three. This is just to keep him on your mind and in front of your face. This is the same thing that the media did when Hillary started to come back and it was starting to look like she had a chance. As the song goes "one nation controlled by the media".

Obama is in free fall and he needs a game changer badly. There is no VP candidate who qualifys other than Hillary Rodham Clinton.
The question is whether Obama is too arrogant to choose her. If he does not he probably will get his rear defeated.
