(CNN) - After hours staking out Joe Biden's Delaware home with no sign of the prospective VP candidate, reporters are now witnessing a flurry of activity.
Cars have recently pulled into the driveway - including a police car - and Biden's daughter, son, and wife are now believed to be inside.
Is the Delaware Democrat gathering his family ahead of a big announcement?

Biden is amusing, and that's about all I can say. If he's the one, Obama is going to need a lot of help to get elected. With Hillary he would have stood a better chance.

Setting up stakeouts at the homes of all the VP choices is silly and outlandish. Use the time to research and educate the public of the issues the next president and vice president will face so they can intellectually voice their opinion. Leave the stalking to the paparazzi.

To quote Rush Limbaugh, conservatives are saying "Please, please, please, let it be Joe Biden." There's just so much ammo that can be used against this guy.
I agree with Art that it's not going to be close, but it's going to be the other way. Historically, the Democrat usually has a large lead at this point, then the Republican makes up ground. Even Dole made up a lot of ground from how far behind he was earlier. If it's basically tied right now, I think that means a landslide for McCain. Obama's just got too many negatives.
We are all playing into the suspense, it is starting to get me down, enough already, get it over with already so the signs can be printed and I can go to sleep peacefuly tonight.. If it is Joe Biden, it is an excellent choice, but not really earth shattering. As for McCain's choice, if he picks Romney, they can have a lot of fun counting how many houses they each own–the rich will rule and us common folks don't stand a chance.
If he picks Biden, even a Republican like me might be forced to support Obama. Biden's background is one that I can truly identify with- the common man of the race.
So this is his Delaware home, does that mean he has more than one home? Just curious because I am going to vote for the ticket that owns the most homes. McCain has a big lead though unless Obama's VP has a slew of them. I figure the richest guy is the one who knows the most about the economy. Obama says he knows best about how to fix the economy. But I say show me the money.
