(CNN) - After hours staking out Joe Biden's Delaware home with no sign of the prospective VP candidate, reporters are now witnessing a flurry of activity.
Cars have recently pulled into the driveway - including a police car - and Biden's daughter, son, and wife are now believed to be inside.
Is the Delaware Democrat gathering his family ahead of a big announcement?

I can't believe he made us wait all week for Joe Biden. Yawn. What a gimmick, and the media have nothing better to do than fall all over him. Even less can I believe his treatment of Hillary. It's really all disgusting. I like Obama alot, but what respect I had for him as a candidate is gone. This is one in 18 million whose come to the difficult conclusion that McCain is the choice in '08. Obama's window of opportunity to gain our trust has slammed shut. He thinks he can win without Hillary; he has no one to blame but himself if he can't pull it off. What arrogance.
If the VP nominee is Joe Biden, old man McCain may need smelling salts. The VP nominee will be the attack dog and McCain will be shredded to pieces. McCain won't know what hit him, which means McCain will keep taking the weekends off to recuperate.

Mitt out spent McCain 2 to 1 in the primary too but lost. Obama is doing the same thing and losing.
People just have to see McCain a couple of time to recognize he is the real deal and no amount of negative ads will change peoples minds. Obama can spend all the money he wants, but McCain is mainstream America.

How can someone that believes in Democrat policies and principles, want to vote for McCain, if Hillary is not chosen ?? What does that tell you about yourself? Really, it doesn't make sense, does it ? If Hillary is the person you think she is , she will agree with me !! Is she voting for McCain ? Get real will ya?
A 3:00 a.m. text message might be viewed in poor taste if the choice ISN'T Clinton, since she made a point of being available at that time in case of an emergency. The Obama camp would be making a point, yet risks alienating Clinton supporters.

Biden has more experience than Clinton, so what's wrong with that? A VP must be ready to serve as President, if needed. Biden is well-qualified. How can you argue that Clinton would be a better VP? It's less about earning votes, more about qualification.

Biden is an old school politician who's run for President twice and didn't get enough votes in either set of primaries to get elected dog catcher. What does he add to the new politics the Obama promotes? Oh, thats right, promoting is only a marketing thing that has no basis in fact. He'll fit right in.

I hope his choice is Biden...Hillary folks need to remember this is Obama's choice in spite of what anyone may think through out the primaries and the general, Obama has run an outstanding campaign compared to Hillary or McCain. This let's us know how he would manage being the President. Everyone needs to stay focus on the big picture and stop the bickering. This should be about uniting and regaining the WH.
Mr Biden ran a spirited campaign and knew when it was time to get out. He got out and did not employ the slash and burn technique like someone else we know of.
Hopefully this means something. I hope it will be Biden, he would bring experience to the ticket and would crush McCain into the ground. Bill Richardson would be a good choice. But I just hope he won't choose Sebelius, that would be a automatic loss of all Clinton votes, cause they would be like, if a women, why not hillary? And where did this Chet Edwards guy come from? He wasn't on the short list until today. But since Obama made his choice I will respect who it is.
