BLESSING
Obama is a fake and a fraud. You need to do your research. I would rather have McCain any day. I don't trust the Chicago thug Obama.

Lawrence Walker   August 22nd, 2008 11:21 pm ET

This is only one person who could bring Obama more votes than Hillary, and that is Al.

Yep, Al Gore. At least he knows very well how to do the job.

That would clinch the election for good.

MODERATE CALIFORNIANS for MCCAIN   August 22nd, 2008 11:10 pm ET

This election will come down to one issue:

OBAMA WILL RAISE TAXES

MCCAIN WILL NOT RAISE TAXES

If you think our government is doing a great job and you'd like to send them more of your hard earned dollars, then go ahead and vote for Obama. THE ONLY CHANGE OBAMA WANTS IS THE CHANGE IN YOUR POCKET.

However, if you want REAL change, McCain is the far better choice. Experience and substance is what will turn the country around.

LOOK AT THIS:

Bush has no experience.
Obama has no experience.

Bush has never had any career success.
Obama has never had any career success.

Bush has never shown any true leadership.
Obama has never shown any true leadership.

Bush bobbed and weaved out of real military service.
Obama NEVER served. NEVER even thought about it.

Bush has never had any substance.
Obama has never had any substance.

THUS

BUSH = OBAMA.

Let's elect someone with experience, leadership, and substance.
Let's elect someone who will not raise taxes.
Let's elect John McCain.

tom   August 22nd, 2008 11:05 pm ET

sorry blessing we will still lose our jobs and it will be blamed on bush .and why are we waiting till after the election for action in the house and senate...

Z Swim   August 22nd, 2008 10:54 pm ET

Biden would be Awesome!!!

I'm still holding out hope for Sebelius though.

So long as it's not this Chet Edwards person, I just read up on him and I like him not at all.

Who on earth cares which loser a loser picks.

BLESSING   August 22nd, 2008 10:51 pm ET

Clinton supporters, stop being difficult. you have these so called PUMAs and all and you always want to put here in the mix of things like why did he not consider clinton. if he had considered him, you would have said WHY DID HE NOT CHOOSE HIM.please get over it because at the end of the day, your views are OBAMAs view. he wants to make your life better just like hillary wanted to do.

AT THE END OF THE DAY, IT IS ALL UP TO BREAD AND BUTTER ISSUES.

you might think that you are fixing OBAMA, or HURTING HIS FEELINGS by not voting for him, but at the end if the day, IF YOU VOTE FOR MCSAME or DO NOT GO OUT TO VOTE, YOU ARE NOT DAMAGING OBAMAs LIVELIHOOD BUT YOU ARE HURTIN YOUR.

YOU ARE HURTING YOUSELF, YOUR NEIGHBOURS AND MOST OF ALL……………….. " YOUR CHILDRENS' FUTURE"

OBAMA will go back to Washington and live his life and he will be comfortable as a Senator but you will suffer another 4 years of the same old, same old. you might even loose your job in the time period and the you will kick yourself and wonder why you thought you will hurt OBAMA but at the end of the day, YOU ARE SUFFERING. then 4 years later the repubs are going to come back and lie to you again and you will eat from their spoon that poisoned you. AREN'T YOU TIRE OR ALL THESE PROBLEMS WE HAVE BEEN SUBJECTED TO FOR THE PAST 8YRS. Mcain cannot even tell us the truth about how many houses he has, a simple thing as that. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING RICH Mr Mcain, WE JUST WANT THE TRUTH. to tell you the truth, ALL OF US DREAM OF BEING RICH TOO ONE DAY. So please treat us a ADULTS and tell us the truth.

IF YOU REALLY CARE ABOUT THIS COUNTRY, DO THE RIGHT THING. IF NOT AT LEAST DO IT FOR YOUR CHILDRENS' FUTURE.

Michael   August 22nd, 2008 10:49 pm ET

Could be Hillary. The polls are making Obama desperate.
Hillary would give Obama his best chance of winning. But Hillary wants to run again in 4 years. I don't think she would accept and help Obama win.

CM   August 22nd, 2008 10:48 pm ET

Sorry Sen. Bayh, I have no doubt you would have made an excellent VP.

I'm pulling for Biden and wish his son a 'Good luck' on his upcoming deployment

adam from bloomington, IN   August 22nd, 2008 10:46 pm ET

Sad to see that he is out of the running. However, I agree with Linda, he is a great senator for Indiana, and we would have risked getting a republican to replace him. I hope it is either Biden or Hillary. If not, I hope Hillary is in Obama's cabinet.

Ken   August 22nd, 2008 10:46 pm ET

Bayh, Bayh Bayh Baby BayhBayh

James - Indiana   August 22nd, 2008 10:46 pm ET

Bayh has never really stood for anything noteworthy. I'm not sure that he would have brought the enthusiasm necessary to boost the Obama ticket ... that, and he is too different from Obama on the issues.

OBAMA/BIDEN08   August 22nd, 2008 10:44 pm ET

the reason bayh did not get picked is because Obama needs a really strong military candidate, don't be bitter not because your VP candidate did not get picked..

Joe   August 22nd, 2008 10:43 pm ET

Evan Bayh is the son of Birch Bayh.

So?

GWB is the son of GHWB. And look what that got us!

NEXT!!

Alice   August 22nd, 2008 10:42 pm ET

Three cheers for Evan Bayh - a man of honor and integrity. He doesn't need to run with a man as corrupt and unqualified as Barack Hussein Obama.

elmerg   August 22nd, 2008 10:40 pm ET

Hagel?

J R   August 22nd, 2008 10:39 pm ET

J Williamson   August 22nd, 2008 10:38 pm ET

Evan Bayh would have been a good choice and it would be interesting to know why he wasn't picked. Question: Why all of this "drama" regarding the annoucement of Obama's choice? Does EVERYTHING have to be on par with American Idol? What a silly state of affairs this is and, I think, it speaks volumes about what American culture has become.

Matt   August 22nd, 2008 10:37 pm ET

I would have been ok with Bayh but it is Obama's choice.

Obama
Biden
2008

nathan   August 22nd, 2008 10:35 pm ET

I believe it is Hillary. There is no other choice. This is a winning combo.

Wade Griffis   August 22nd, 2008 10:31 pm ET

Bayh was never in the running. It would have been a stupid pick if he was. If Obama does not pick somebody with balls, McCain is going to eat his lunch in November. We Independents are really tired of dummies running the country.

Giovanni   August 22nd, 2008 10:30 pm ET

Obama is trying to use mind control, so everyone keeps thinking about this. disgusting.

Linda from Indiana   August 22nd, 2008 10:27 pm ET

Glad to see my senator out of the running. He makes an excellent senator for the great state of Indiana! He supported the RIGHT candidate for this country at this time–Hilary Clinton.

OBAMA/BIDEN08   August 22nd, 2008 10:26 pm ET

This means its Biden! or Hilary lol doubt it though

Obama/Biden 08

Pennsylvania Voter   August 22nd, 2008 10:23 pm ET

If it's not Bayh I'll be Biden. He's the only other logical choice. Best of luck!

maximous   August 22nd, 2008 10:22 pm ET

I just can't wait until it's announced that it's NOT Hillary! At that point, can't we just start moving McCain into the White House?

Michael   August 22nd, 2008 10:22 pm ET

Obama/Biden!

interesting   August 22nd, 2008 10:19 pm ET

Smart move Bayh. Don't be apart of a sinking ship.

PUMA 2008!

jeanette   August 22nd, 2008 10:19 pm ET

Evan Bayh is well loved in Indiana, but he would not be a good Vice President.

I'm still rooting for Jim Webb....but I'll support anybody that Senator Obama chooses.

Jason   August 22nd, 2008 10:18 pm ET

It's gonna be Biden.

joshua   August 22nd, 2008 10:18 pm ET

tHIS IS BIGGER THAN OBAMA AND HILLARY, THATS WHY I DONT CARE WHAT HILLARY SAYS OBAMA WAS SUCH A SCUMBAG TO HER AND THE MEDIA SUCKIN HIM OFF LIKE THAT WAS SO UNFAIR. IF HE DOESNT PICK HER HE LOST , I COULD GIVE 2 PITS FOR PARTY UNITY, YOU WANT UNITY THEN UNITE THEM BOTH

PoliticoMike   August 22nd, 2008 10:18 pm ET

He was a nice guy, but oh well. I'm on the edge of my seat. So this looks like it will be a 3A.M text after all. Can anyone say Hillary?? LOL

Scott L   August 22nd, 2008 10:17 pm ET

Maybe he picked his half blood brother living in Kenya on $1 a day! Maybe he won't diss him like he did last time he visited and just left him there in his shack!

RB from NH   August 22nd, 2008 10:16 pm ET

Why would all you Clinton lovers want Hillary for VP?

What would be the point?

Obama President, Hillary Supreme Court Justice

JJ, Philly PA   August 22nd, 2008 10:15 pm ET

Wow! I have to say I'm sort of relieved...but who will it be???

David   August 22nd, 2008 10:14 pm ET

2 down, 1 to go. Biden...... or Hillary? Please make it Biden

Richie   August 22nd, 2008 10:14 pm ET

Thank God, the two boring choices are out. Wouldn't it be hilarious if the Obama camp pulled a one-two on the media and picked someone besides Biden, after they'd been stalking the "three main choices" for a whole day like the paparazzi? Man, it would satisfy me if the ticket was Obama/Clinton, just to see the look on CNN's various faces who insisted that she wouldn't be the VP.

Donna   August 22nd, 2008 10:13 pm ET

am I still in the running???
