Source: Obama calls Veep runner-ups

Obama has already made his decision, say sources.
Obama has already made his decision, say sources.

(CNN) – Sen. Barack Obama called some people on his short-list for the vice presidential slot Thursday night to tell them he had not selected them as running mate, a highly placed Democratic party source told CNN.

The source did not say which people got the call.

Obama has told some other potential running mates over the last few weeks that he would not be choosing them.

If Obama picks Clinton he better hire an offical food taster, have a metal plate put in the back of his suites, chinstrap a helmit on with a mouth peice because she will stab him in the back, crown him with a club, or mess with his food.

Why do pro-choice women always speak in terms that imply they speak for all women. Please note pro-choicers, there is a sizable percentage of U.S. women who are pro-life! Pro-life candidates are not a slap in the face to all women. In fact, a majority of people (men and women) are pro-life in this country. The democratic party is catching on and has a pro-life speaker at its convention this year. That at least is the opening of a dialogue – good for the democratic party!

If its not Clinton he loses plain and simple. McCain has more important things on his mind like running our country then his houses. This gaffe is not going to fly and will only make Obama look stupid because he has no solution for national security problems, or anything for that matter.

The whole reason he's hyping it up this much is because it's not going to be Hillary. That way the whole weekend will be spent by MSM slathering over who it is rather than who it isn't, before Days 1 & 2 of the convention, which are already all about the Clintons.

Strategically this inevitable but still a mistake when it comes to winning the election; Obama couldn't pick the Clintons because everybody knows 'three's a crowd'...not enough room in the White House for all those people and their egos too.

Because Hillary was the best chance to draw in the independent voters who will WIN this election, it is now merely academic going into the Fall.

In the end, by not picking Hillary, or her actually being the nomonee, John Mc____ (fill in blank with your favorite childish put-down here) will be our next President.

    You're Welcome.

  24. arrogance or common sense?

Obama had better swallow his extreme arrogance and pick the only candidate that can be a game changer. Is that Joe Biden who has been in the senate since Obama was 11..no, Evan Byah, a nice guy but as boring as a log in a swamp...no, is it the unknow governor of kansas, what do you think, is it Tim Kaine or Virginia, you have to be known to be a game changer......there is only one person who can change the game for Obama and anyone with a brain knows who that is.
