(CNN) – A large crowd has gathered outside Joe Biden's Delaware home awaiting a glimpse of the newly-named Democratic VP candidate.
A motorcade is expected to take Biden and his family to a nearby airport shortly. Biden and Obama will appear together in Springfield, Illinois at 3 p.m. ET.

last night I heard about 58 different pundits critizing how the Obama campaign has handled this selection. I DON'T GET IT!! If I recall correctly, Senator Obama stated HE would decide when the person would be announced. Then he gave out the date and the place...HOW and WHY is it his fault that the IMMATURE KNUCKLEHEADS we have in the media became obsessed with guessing who it is???
