Senator Lugar is a real gentleman whose whole political career has been illustrious. I lived in Indianapolis when he was its mayor in the 1960's, and although I've always been a registed Democrat, I have also admired Lugar.

Hillary is a true blue Democrat. She wants this country to thrive again and will set aside her desires to insure it will be a Democrat as President. I wanted Hillary as president and still do. I am not a true blue Democrat, I still feel Obama will be bad for this country. Which brings into question, my faith in Hillary. Not all Democrats are good people. Not just any Democrat will do. It's nice to see that there still is some commity in the Senate. Senator Luger is a good example of how politics should work–people with different views of how to deal with our pressing issues, but with respect and good will for those on the other side of the aisle. Let's hope and pray a new era is coming in which both parties truly work together for the common good.

I laugh so hard when I see stupid comments on here about how PUMA and Hillary supporters are just "republicans" trying to cause trouble. You're darned tootin I'm a republican....NOW. I tore up my Democratic registration card last month and re-registered republican. The way I look at it, our "democratic" congress has done NOTHING to improve matters and Nancy Pelosi and Howard Dean have hijacked the democratic party . They have forced a non-viable candidate upon the voters who obviously wanted Hillary and caused the party to implode. So, having said that, This NEW republican will be voting ALL republican this year in the hopes that we survive another four years until the democratic party does some serious housecleaning and re-vamping. As long as Nancy Pelosi and Howard Dean think they run this country I will fight tooth and nail to prove them wrong!

To follow up on my other post, McCain better pick an equivalent VP running mate or his ticket won't be able to withstand the high power Democrat ticket that's gearing up to steam roll right over McCain straight into the White House. If McCain picks pretty boy Romney, a Governor with no federal government experience, he has put a flimsy team together and sabotaged his campaign. Romney vs. Biden would be the ultimate comedy.
