joe biden is the best pick. i actually wanted him for the nominee, but i guess this is the next best thing.

and i think the media totally exaggerates the whole hillary thing just for a story. let's move past that now – joe biden is the best person for the job!!!!!

Obama lied when he said Hillary was on his short list. We all know that is not true, she was never vetted by the Obama camp. So sad.

Anyone who would vote for Hillary Clinton, and then turn around and vote for John "no exception in cases of rape or incest" "I don't know how many houses my second wife with whom I cheated while I was married to my injured first wife bought me" McCain is frankly, a moron. I'd like to have the votes, sure, but really, a moron.

hillary doesn't deserve anything....where were all you supporters when she needed campaign volunteers to go door to door. Maybe next time she runs you "supporters" will get off your swivel computer chair and muster up more votes. You says it is undemocratic that she lost....IT'S NOT....She didn't get the votes.....learn how the system works, how the primaries work, etc. You are all so immature and are so "bitter" you have to cry like little babies "wah wah wah hillary should be VP, wah wah wah hillary should be this, hillary should be that" GOD give it up already she lost and it's over forever.

    OBAMA/BIDEN

  8. LET'S KEEP IT REAL

Word to all the so called Hillary supporters that are insisting on protesting this decision, it never was yours to make it was President Obama's and the fact that he did not allow you all to strong arm him speaks volumes in his favor, but you do have one decision to make come election time I suggest you do so very wisely otherwise you may have to face the consequences.

I just hope that after Hillary is allowed her moment at the convention she will truly be able to support Obama as well as "her supporters" if not I can only pray that they will get somewhere and sit down and stay out of the way and not make it harder than it has to be, but I doubt it they seem to only want attention for themselves the fact that Hillary still has this debt proves this and Hillary wanting all of this attention only proves that she is only thinking of herself, but not too wisely she is not thinking of the fact that all attention ain't good attention, if they continue to cause problems for Obama instead of going down in the history as a champion of women she will be forever be known as a bitter spoiler for the first black candidate as well as the Democratic Party and nation!

I have a very hard time understanding why people who voted for Hillary would now vote for John McCain. If you look at the differences between Obama and Clinton you will hardly see any differences; we all learned that during the primaries. All this shows is that you knew nothing about her policies and that you voted for her because you liked her and just figured she would be a good pick. If you really did like Clinton for what she wanted to do then you will vote for Obama since he has the same goals. Lastly, if McCain gets elected do you really think she will get to accomplish any of her goals for this country as opposed to what she could do if Obama is president. I just ask that you rethink your vote and really understand WHAT you are voting for as opposed to who you are voting for.

Great choice...it's like JFK choosing LBJ. Obama knew the biggest issue to Americans, besides the economy, is America's foreign relations and Joe Bidden is an expert in that area,

As far as these polls go: They only pooll a few thousand people, and they call the house phone (LAN lines)...so there are still millions of people who have yet to be polled. Obama will win.

As far as the idea that Obama "should" have picked Hillary: crazy. Obama owes Hillary nothing...he beat her fair and square in the primaries and the dream ticket was just that, a dream. Thank God Obama picked Bidden so we can wake up from this 8 year nightmare known as the Bush Administration.

Goo choice, since Biden will be the real president anyway. That said, the way HRC was treated still rankles: no vote in this "selection".

    WOW!!!!

He picked the guy who wanted Iraq to become three seperate states!!
The same guy who voted for Iraq!!!!
The old guy who has been in congress longer than McCain!!
Thy guy who can't keep his mouth shut!!!!

You know it's always good to have someone on your ticket that has some executive experience. Just a thought.

Ya know... if Obama wanted to win so badly he would have selected Clinton!!!

To all of you foolishly blaming CNN for blowing Obama's scheme – blame your fearless leader – had he no drawn this out like a silly schoolkid scheme CNN would not have had time to narrow the field down to only one – GOOD JOB CNN – way to go and my faith in you is slightly restored.

How stupid can some of you people be? You say you're democrats, but because the oh-so-holy Clinton didn't win the primaries you're threatening to vote Rep?!? Are you so afraid to let a person with a different skin color lead this country? I know, there is a comment from another African-American that posted on this blog saying they are now voting for McCain.

    Stupid.

    Just stupid.

Just how many more of your rights do you want taken away? There are some very major important decisions that will be made by the next president, including Judges on the Supreme Court. If you call yourself a life-long democrat, do you REALLY want McCain making those choices?!?
