I think this is Great! Obama/Biden was my 1st choice. As for all you haters, if you'd really rather vote for 4 more yrs of the same old garbage as opposed to trying something better, be my guest. In the end you'll be the ones complaining when you can't afford to make ends meet. Nothing like being "STUCK ON STUPID".

Biden is a perfect choice! YOu can't put a woman on the ticket with a black dude vice versa, come on, America not quite there yet! Especially a woman with a mouth like San Andreas fault!

Biden brings IRON to the ticket! The guy has guts, speaks his mind, defends his friends when they're attacked, genuinely cares about us Americans, has foreign/domestic experience, and is well respected. Look at Biden, he looks like he came out of that portrait of American founding fathers! Thank you Obama/Biden!

Yes! After reading Biden's WSJ Op-Ed piece in May I though he would be very good choice.

    Excellent!

Allen and the like – then you my friend are a idiot!
To vote McCain would be a disservice to this country!

Ask yourselves – why isn't there any diversity in McCain's campaign? This is a tell-tell sign of the GOP bigoted/divisive rhetoric! Whose interests do the McCain /GOP have?

Get real America – for the future of this country, kids, and grand children – the future is Obama!

After what the Bush/Republicans have done in the last 8 years and you want to reward them with 4 more years....Seriously?

    I love it.
Biden is a bulldog, and will destroy Romney in the debates. It will be glorious.
Grab some popcorn, folks. Sit back and watch the McCain run away with his tail between his legs. Tripping over himself along the way.

Oh, and if McCain wins as a result of you PUMAS, then you will deserve the economic wrath that he will bestow upon you.
If you lose your house, your job, or claim bankruptcy under McCain's weak economic policies, then you will have no one to blame but yourselves.

Barack, Barack, Barack.....What are you thinking? Are you really that insecure that you couldn't pick Hillary? Are you really for the party or yourself? A Barack/Hillary ticket would have cleaned their clock and would have really stood for the "Change" is on it's way propaganda. Instead you pick Biden who was not even good enough to make it past the first primary vote on every past election for that past 20 years! If Biden was so great why can't he do it on his own? You really missed the boat on this one and McBush is going to pick accordingly now. I'm a Democrat without a candidate now. NoBama here!
++++++(Hillary take a well deserved vacation and get ready for 2012 after McBush screws things up further and we are dealing with another military situation and isolated further from the rest of the world. We'll need you even more then! ) ++++++ HILLARY CLINTON IN 2012!!!!!

    Scoring the Votes

He said that he had "a perfect voting record from organizations like the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion." But we called both of those groups, and they told us they don't even release congressional scorecards. In fact, the American Legion's constitution prohibits it.

The veteran in this exchange was also wrong in saying McCain doesn't have a perfect voting record with the VFW (since such a record doesn't even exist). However, he is correct in that McCain doesn’t have a perfect score with DAV (Disabled American Veterans), a group of 1.3 million disabled veterans that supports more funding for veterans health care. McCain has a 20 percent record of voting the way DAV would like him to in 2006. The group is nonpartisan, but its 100 percent rankings disproportionately go to Democrats: 207 Democrats in Congress and only 13 Republicans received scores of 100 percent in 2006. Senators were evaluated on five votes for amendments that would have increased funding for veterans’ health care.

FOR ALL YOU HRC SUPPORTERS OUT THERE, OBAMA HAS DONE THE RIGHT THING BY PICKING BIDEN. HE HAS NOW SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY HAS "EXPERIENCE"; NOT JUST SOMEONE WHO THINKS SHE HAS EXPERIENCE BECAUSE HER SPOUSE WAS GOVERNOR AND THEN PRESIDENT FOR EIGHT YEARS. WHEN ARE YOU HIILLBOTS GOING TO WAKEUP AND SMELL THE FRESH AIR, HILLARY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU ONLY HER OWN EGO. NOW SHE CAN GO BACK TO THE SENATE AND MOAN TO HER PANTSUIT MAKER ON THE WEEKENDS ABOUT HOW SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN PRESIDENT BECAUSE WELL, SHE IS ENTITLED TO IT REMEMBER??

It amazes me that there are so many educated "adults" who believe that two people must agree with each other on EVERY issue to become compatible as a team to work together for the good of something they both want. Mr. Biden is a great choice, they don't need to agree on everything as the RNC, and the HillBillies would have us believe. Or is it that the RNC, and the HillBillies are neither educated or adults? To those HillBillies who are not going to vote, do us all a favor and stay home, PLEASE, don't vote, that way, you wont be able to speak for the next 8 years about anything concerning life in the US.

117 thousand people in Florida decided to throw away their vote in the year 2000....people upset by one thing or another...people not willing to look beyond themselves and vote Nader instead of Gore.

Those relatively small number of people DOOMED us to eight years of George W. Bush.

Those of you who would use your vote as a petulant weapon rather than wise decision? Please, do our nation a favor and just STAY HOME. You don't have to choose the obvious change in direction represented by Obama/Biden.

Just don't help DOOM us to at least 4 more years of the worst administration in history.

Valerie and others who say they will not vote for Obama because Clinton is not on the ballot:

When McCain is elected and appoints a Supreme Court which reverses Roe V. Wade, look in the mirror and thank yourself.

When McCain keeps the Iraq debacle going on and on and on, and more American kids die there, look in the mirror and thank yourself.

When the economy keeps its downward spiral because McCain will continue policies which favor corporations over individuals, look in the mirror and thank yourself.

    Need I go on?
