Regardless of what you think of her husband, Cindy McCain is more than qualified to take this kind of trip. She has devoted her life to helping people in need – including starting a non-profit that made more than fifty trips to war-torn countries bringing doctors, nurses and medical supplies.

To the michelle lovers, the media hasn't scrutinized her because she hasn't been giving stump speeches like michelle. If she was out actively campaigning and making statements on behalf of the campaign, then they'd have every reason to cover her.

I just think that she and John are so removed from the struggles of everyday Americans that they cannot possibly understand those struggles. If they cannot understand those struggles then it is impossible for them to do anything to fix the situation.

So, nothing wrong with having 8 kitchen tables, but at the same time, there is no way that you can understand the struggles of someone with either 1 table or in many many cases, no table at all.

I like McCain, but he is not the man at this point, in 2000 yes, but not 2008.

I hope that America wakes up and pays attention to the issues instead of all of these worthless side shows and gotchas that are served up to cloud the real issues that face us.

I think that it is really really simple. If Bush policies benefited you and you believe benefited the country, then you should surely vote for McCain. He did support Bush 95% of the time. If you believe that those same policies hurt you and the country that we all love, then you need to vote for whoever is not McCain, plain and simple. There really is no need for any further campaigning. It is either Bush policies or not Bush policies.

It says he "hasn't been to Iraq for years." He was headed there at the time the ad was released, however, and had been there in 2006.

It says he "never held a single hearing on Afghanistan." It was the full Senate Foreign Relations Committee, not Obama's subcommittee, that had the hearings on this global hot spot, and Obama attended one of those. Over the same time period, McCain himself attended none of the Afghanistan hearings held by the Armed Services Committee on which he serves.
