It's amazing that CNN constantly acts like this Presidential race is about THEM? NO ONE cares what CNN thinks!!! Bottom line. CNN is just reporting this nonsense for "ratings" purposes. Please take the time and look at what Obama is offering you. If McCain is elected we run the chance of losing the women's rights that we have work so hard to get and now he has mentioned bring back the draft.
I would not be surprised if Hillary is given a cabinet position, if Obama is elected. but if you don't vote Obama, you will be taking that away from her too. Please if you truly love Hillary, vote Obama.

Behind? I don't think so. Most major polls show him ahead in a close vote as far as the popular vote is concerned. And in the state polls, which reflects what the electoral college will do, Obama is winning.

The truth is that McCain will convince millions of Americans that he's a confused, angry and vulgar little man with a lot of money... he makes more progress with that every time he opens his mouth. I can't rule out the possibility that Obama might still commit some major gaffe or error, but failing that, he's going to win in November.

As an independent, I am amazed at the support Hilary Clinton has, despite the tarnished legacy she and her husband have provided presidential historians, but it just proves the point that most voters are ignorant of issues and character and focus more on personality and "likeability"–which is how most presidents get elected.

I don't have a horse in this race, but I think Obama's choice of Joe Biden (a well-regarded and respected man on both sides of the aisle) helps build in that experience factor. It's true in both politics and business: surround yourself with people smarter than you and weigh their counsel wisely..something the Bush Administration failed to do on all accounts.

27% of Hillary supporter will vote for John McCain. So 54% impact on Sen. Obama votes. Basically, there will be only gain of 10% (1.8 millions added vote to Sen. Obama).

McCain needs to get only 20 million votes (may be 20.5 million as repbulican African Americans will vote for Obama) to win election 2008. Congratulations Mr McCain.

Just because CNN was the first to make the official announcement of Obama’s running mate, doesn't make them the best news casters on television. I credit them with their coverage of this election year, but they too at times undermine Sen. Barack Obama's campaign strategy. Whose to say their inside intelligent didn’t come from the Hillary Clinton camp, or one of the disappointed selectees on Obama's short list. Even though those considered for the VP spot all say it's more about serving your Country then a job with a purpose, the odds are at least one of them would fill a little upset over it.
