This is so funny, this small minority of so called Hillary supporters only supported her because she was a woman. Now, since she was not chosen as VP they are going to vote for McCain, a man who is doing the greatest disrespect by treating them as puppets.. lol wow. McCain could care less about Hillary and if she was chosen as VP he would have and has shown that via the millions of negative ads he has made about her.

So here we are, these so called hilly supporters hate the man who actually shows them 100% more respect than that of McCain.

Let see Obama has:

Helped pay some of Hillary debt
Iincluded her as a primary speaker in the convention
Included her husband as a primary speaker (who spoke some pretty overtly negative comments) in the convention
Shares the same political views and stances as HIllary.

Go figure.. I guess ALL americans dont have principles. lol

All these Obama supporters who are complaining about the Hilllary supporters are really being stupid.. Hey, she did get half the votes. In any other convention there would be a legitimate roll call vote and/or she would have been the VP. Are the Obamabots trying to help him lose? They obviously haven't been to many conventions and seen floor fights, this could have been a good convention. Obama is trying to exert too much control and it won't do anything but tick people off. Hillary and her supporters are entitled to have their say. Conventions are supposed to be the whole party not just the nominee's supporters. If the posters here are examples of the Obama supporters, he's going to lose. They're just as arrogant, self-centered, and totally ignorant of how to handle the friendly opposition.

Oh, and I am not a Hillary supporters.

McCain "Doesn't Disagree" With Draft Presidential candidate John McCain appeared at a town hall meeting in New Mexico today. And, for some reason, tacitly endorsed the draft. It all went down when an audience member turned the topic toward veteran's rights and said, quite astoundingly, "If we don't reenact the draft I don't think we will have anyone to chase Bin Laden to the gates of hell." To this McCain replied, "Ma'am let me say that I don't disagree with anything you said and thank you and I am grateful for your support of all of our veterans." So McCain would rather force America's young men to serve in the military than lift Don't Ask, Don't Tell, which has deprived our military of an estimated 12,000 able soldiers? That's simply mind boggling.

By the way, for those who remain stuck on the Clinton legacy,
only one of two people will be sworn in on January 20, 2009.
Senator Obama or Senator McCain.

Gues what, Clinton will still hae her lofty position as a Senator, have her lifetime pension set up as a 2-term (at least) senator, and finally her $100 MILLION. So, this election will not affect her or bill or Chelsea in any particular way.
You on the other hand, will have to deal with the bleak outlook of a McCain administration if you don't get off your ego trip of not wanting to support Obama.

I have always voted Republican, but I have been so impressed by Obama this year that I plan on voting for him.

I am tired of paying half my income for gas, and I am tired of hearing about my neighbors dying in a war that we now know shouldn't have been started in the first place. My son wants to join the army, and I am torn between allowing him to serve our country, and knowing that he would be fighting a war that does not represent what I have always loved about America.

While I am a Republican and plan to vote for Obama, I am surprised that all of you Hillary supporters are so quick to jump to the McCain camp. While McCain has his pros and cons, it is very clear that his policies are close to Bush's. His experience as a POW does NOT qualify him to be president, although he is a war hero.

If you supported Hillary, why would support McCain? Obama and Hillary are very similar politically, and ALL candidates are negative towards their competitors in the primaries. Hillary fought the best fight she could have, and she lost. Let's remember that voting is not about revenge. ANY candidate who was as close as Hillary to making history would have done the same thing. But now that she is out, let's all move on and make Obama the next President.

I know Hillary supporters are upset and feel gypped, but do you really want McCain's Bush-like policies for 4 more years? Think about it... Skyrocketing gas, Plummetting economy....and more dead neighbors coming home from Iraq. Think about it... Think about our children. Vote Obama.

If Barack Obama loses, don't you think that will be the end of Hillary's political career? Don't you think she will be held personally responsible for having such a divisive campaign and giving McCain all of those sound bites - "I have a lifetime of experience, McCain has a lifetime of experience, and all Barack Obama has is a great speech in 2002." I can't remember Obama saying anything about Hillary that McCain could use in an ad. I do remember one he said, "You're likable enough." (Well, let's give him the electric chair for that.) I also think that Hillary is too emotional to be President or Vice President. When she made her concession speech (the one where she said she had 18 million votes and would make no decisions now) showed her selfish and divisive nature. Obama, on the other hand, praised her and said that she would have a prominent place in his administration focusing on health care. But I guess that wasn't enough. If he loses, she's toast.

A message to Obama supporters: You need to understand that a GREAT many of us have questions about Obama NOT because of his race (as simple-minded people would like to believe) but because of his political leanings, past history, and relative lack of experience. He talks a great game, but get behind the golden speeches (hard for you soundbyte-based people I know) and you don't see a lot of substance. You accuse McCain or other politicians of using "loopholes" to question voter legitimacy??? Look at what Obama did in Chicago. As for experience...try to identify some major initiatives that he led, rather than times he simply voted "present". Most of us have concerns about Obama because we see him for what he is...a golden-tongued speaker that is actually a ruthless Chicago politician, and with incredibly liberal leanings. He will DO anything and SAY anything to get elected. Try opening your eyes and seeing reality for what it is. As for race? If Colin Powell was running for President, I (and probably most of the country) would vote for him in a second. So much for race as an issue. Get over it and try to deal with the fact that your "messiah" is simply a relatively inexperienced politician with the gift of gab.

While Obama and McCain are contrasted in the issues, McCain is more centrist than his fellow Republicans, just as Obama is more to the left than the Clintons. If Roe V. Wade was to be overturned, BUSH would have done it already. I am a 38 year old female that has voted both Republican and Democrat, mostly Democrat, and I feel that the democrats, under Nancy Pelosi, Howard Dean and Harry Reid, have hijacked the party and pushed the Clintonites out. The fact they, including C.N.N., want there to be a rift between Obama and Clinton, and will go to great lengths to create one is sad. When ever I hear C.N.N say in their promos that they demand the truth I can't help but laugh. They don,t want the truth if it lacks controversy. So why not report rumor as fact then approach the news makers with the "facts" and ask for a response. I will be shocked and amazed if Obama wins this election. I said from the beginning that the republicans would win again. This is the same country that elected George Bush twice. This is the same country that likes it when their president uses small words to communicate with them. And they certainly don't like anything that's different and Barack Obama is different. I think the country deserves the mess they find themselves in now and will find themselves in in the future. The lack of intelligent reasoning people makes my skin crawl. I am overwhelmed by the ignorance....was that too many syllables?

It will backfire, as the TRUE democrats including those upset that Hillary didn't win the nomination will soon realize what is really stake–voting for McCain would amount to abdicating their life-long commitment to democratic principles and prolonging the agony of the American People who has seen nothing but misery under 8 years of Republican administration. Of course, there will be dems that will vote McCain, but their numbers will be canceled out by the number of republicans voting for Obama. Both group constitute only the minority in this election.

Think maybe they know something from following him before he became a national figure? His 2004 convention speech catapulted him into the national spotlight, but those of us from the land of Lincoln and Chicago politics knew a much different politician then the one who presents himself to the nation now. To be honest, I really think this is a GOP plot to give an illusion that democrats are divided. If they were truly divided, Clintons 18 million would have retired her debt. Also, it would be more than a 25% of clinton backers going to mccain. None of this has happened yet.

This is nothing more than a Limbugh/Rove, GOP, media speculated ordeal. Nothing substantial. Get over it.
