Schneider: Almost a perfect bellwether

Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill has been one of Sen. Obama's most ardent supporters.

DENVER (CNN) - Claire McCaskill’s from Missouri - a near-perfect bellwether state. It’s partly Southern, partly Northern, partly urban, partly rural. A key battleground state in this election, it’s voted for the winner in the every single election of the past century but one - why it voted for Adlai Stevenson in 1956, I have no idea. And of course, she’s a woman who endorsed Barack Obama over Hillary Clinton. She’s using feminist themes against John McCain.

The Dems desperately need to shore up the feminist vote before McCain selects Kay Bailey Hutchinson.

Nothing made me sicker than this woman Claire McKaskill backing Barack Hussein over Hillary.

Right now I'm watching Nancy Grace since most of the TV stations are showing that Michelle obama speach. Now she's proud of America.

CNN's commentators have complained all night there was not enough Democratic criticism of Bush and McCain. If CNN had actually showed Claire McCaskill's speech they would have heard what they wanted. Too bad America missed it (I was listening online) because they were all blabbing!

I can't believe Claire McCaskill has the gall to use feminist themese against John McCain after stabbing her own gender in the back by supporting Obama over Hillary Clinton. Hypocritical at best, pathetic at worst.

Too bad we couldn't hear Clarie speak. The CNN talking heads talked all through her speech and then complained about not hearign a message. CNN has made it their goal to bring us 4 more years of Bush.

Claire McCaskill , I have been waiting a long time to see a story about you. You are a Judus as much as Richardson. Any woman who would not stand by another, in the positions you are in is a sad, jealous human being. Women fought so very hard to be where we are today and you spit in all of our faces, I will not forget and I'd be willing to bet that the Clintons will be working against you in your next bid and you will have it coming. Your strategy , and that is what it is , will come home to haunt you, you are not worthy of your position, I hope the women of Missouri remember your stance and betrayal.

McCain has one of the worst voting records when it comes to a woman's right to choose and other issues that all women should be concerned about. He voted against insurance covering birth control, and then voted for insurance covering Viagra. What a joke!

Schnieder : you did not like hearing from a missourian who said McCaskill would be toast if she runs again. Missouri will definitely go republican in November with Obama as the canidate. You can take your pundit tail along with your poll and stick it. You can bet the farm that Missouri will be republican on your Board.

I really enjoyed the convention tonight, I thought Michelle was great, Ted Kennedy, just brought back so many memories, of his brother John, and Robert, I still think of them often, I'd also like to wish Ted the best, and hope to see him back in Jan, and to (Caroline Great job) ,like to say it was nice not to see any bashing of the republicans,I wish we could all come together and not worry weather we are Democrate's or Republicans, But Think of us all as great Americans who love our Country and would love to see our Country become Great again, Because we are in a big Mess at this time, and I'm sure no one would want The United States To be A third World Country What would our ancestors say about us not taking care of the American people first, and doing whats right for America, From an older American, May God Bless This Country

CNN is so bias they couldn't even cover the House Speaker Pelosi, and Sen. Claire's speeches– It is obviously who CNN is supporting. I can't get it why they couldn't cover House speaker's speech–pathetic. The same thing CNN was doing 8 and 4 years that got stupid man elected twice. MSNBC or ABC should have covered this Democratic convention not CNN.

Good for her. Every kind of comment used against McWar Boom Boom is super.
God help us all if he gets elected. People think the USA is in trouble now, he'll have us in WWIII before we know it. His war drum comments are disgusting. WAR,WAR,WAR that's all he is interested in.
I guess he's trying to prove all that military know how he's supposed to have is real. Well, in my book, it is not and he is not qualified to be elected the next president. I don't want someone in the Oval Office with his war temperment or his arrogance.
When President, quick on the trigger does not come first, diplomacy does.
