Why does CNN work so hard to magnify the numbers and significance of supposed Hillary supporters who would actually vote for John McCain?

They're not Hillary supporters because Hillary supporters have already moved on. They're just republicans now, so why is anybody giving them any credence? Why no reporting on republican party divisions?

These people are ridiculously childlike. The difference between Clinton and Obama is far far faaaar less than the difference between Obama and McCain or Clinton and McCain. Obama and Clinton are essentially the same about all the big issues. If you switch sides just because the candidate is different it means youre pulling a Paris Hilton. It means your shallow and youre voting for a personality rather than the issues. OK youre sad because a women is not gonna be elected a president but since either way its going to be a man then go back to voting for the issues. Just like theres a minimum age for voting there should be a minimum IQ as well.

These people were not going to vote for Barack Obama anyway. I could almost respect them if they said, like people in appalachia, they were not going to vote for him because he is black and they are comfortable with the possibility of a black man running the country. It's about changing the direction of the country, employing the unemployed, providing health care for the uninsured, social security, making sure people don't lose their homes. Not only that, but let me ask a simple but fundamental question: If the HRC woman supporters, most of whom are white, stab Obama in the back and kill his chances of being president by voting spitefully for McCain, do you think for one second that Black people are going to vote for HRC in 2012? Hell no. And do you think that any Democrat, including HRC, can win in this country without Black folks voting, when white people support Republicans by about 60%? Again, hell no. Bottom line, vote for Obama now and HRC still has a chance of being president in the future, or vote for McCain, infuriate Black folks, and see the Democratic party implode and lose presidential elections for an entire generation. And meanwhile, this wonderful country, founded in 1776, will continue is obvious decline in housing, health care, education, the enviroment, civil rights, etc., etc, until it is no more.

If you don't vote for your party's candidate, SWITCH PARTIES! You're not a team player and I certainly don't want you on my team! If you don't like your boss, you quit. I am a registered democrat, have been all my life and I am almost 50. This November will be the first time I have voted Republican. Never thought I would. I would have gladly voted for Obama if I thought he actually won the primary. Hillary had 500,000 more votes than he did at the end. The only reason Obama got where he is because of all the super delegates running to his corner..hmm...wonder how much money changed hands for that to happen. Strange thing I always did like the color Red better than Blue!

They're either not Democrats or they just can't bring themselves to vote for an African-American no matter how intelligent or qualified he or she is. We don't need these type of people anyway. This is truly sad... if you're angry because Hillary didn't get the nomination (which I need to point out we know now much of the onus falls upon the way she ran her campaign and how she and her staff dropped the ball...) and you end up sitting out the election, that's understandable... don't agree with it, but again, it's understandable. All of you that are unhappy that Hillary is not the Democratic presidential nominee (or VP nominee) and are swinging to McCain just to show your displeasure, let me point out a few things. If John McCain gets elected because of your petty gripes that your person was not chosen, you'll get much more than you bargained for. It's more than just "we'll show you". You'll get more religious conservative judges on the Supreme Court. That means you'll probably lose Roe v. Wade, and any other female friendly decisions for the next 50 years. You'll lose environmental protections, workplace protections, protections from gender bias at work and elsewhere. You'll lose just about everything that you've fought for. But that's OK, because you'll be able to prove your petty point, that Hillary was the one you wanted. Oh well. I guess in the end, it will be worth it to you. This will prove another point – that you have more in common with the Republicans than just voting against Obama. You'll prove that you are selfish jerks that don't really care about where the country is going so long as you serve your own little purpose. I hope you choke on your idiocy.

So what...if you were only casting your vote for a "woman" then you shouldn't even have a vote. There are so many issues that require intellience and investigation. Stop acting so childish and make an informed decision on the candidates. Personally, I think McCain is just too old and too involved with his unfortunate prisoner of war life. That was a LONG time ago and he and the rest of the Dems who will jump ship and put an old man in charge of this country need to enlighten themselves and realize what is really important here. I would like to say that as a woman had Obama chosen Hillary he would have lost my vote. Obama chose Biden due to his background and how he hasnt allowed Washington to change his beliefs and way of life. I think it was a wise choice. Now for those planning on voting McCain, I truely dont understand why you even vote as it seems you vote for preference and not for policies. Obama and Clinton had such similar policy views but the only difference was one was old Washington (Hillary) and one was new Washington (Obama). I wonder if any of you have ever done community work as Obama did because if you had you would realize how much experience and knowledge you can get from that work. Womens issues are one of the largest differences between Obama and McCain which will pretty much halt for years many womens rights.
