Why does CNN work so hard to magnify the numbers and significance of supposed Hillary supporters who would actually vote for John McCain?

They're not Hillary supporters because Hillary supporters have already moved on. They're just republicans now, so why is anybody giving them any credence? Why no reporting on republican party divisions?

These people are ridiculously childlike. The difference between Clinton and Obama is far far faaaar less than the difference between Obama and McCain or Clinton and McCain. Obama and Clinton are essentially the same about all the big issues. If you switch sides just because the candidate is different it means youre pulling a Paris Hilton. It means your shallow and youre voting for a personality rather than the issues. OK youre sad because a women is not gonna be elected a president but since either way its going to be a man then go back to voting for the issues. Just like theres a minimum age for voting there should be a minimum IQ as well.

These people were not going to vote for Barack Obama anyway. I could almost respect them if they said, like people in appalachia, they were not going to vote for him because he is black and they are comfortable with the possibility of a black man running the country. It is not about hillary clinton, barack obama, or any other democratic candidate. It's about changing the direction of the country, employing the unemployed, providing health care for the uninsured, social security, making sure people don't lose their homes. John McCain is not going to do any of that. If they want to vote for John McCain, I hope they or anone they know don't have any of the issues listed above. If they do, these people don't care about them.

This is pure studpidity, plain and simple. Most of these mostly white woman who support HRC are pro-choice, and they are going to vote for McCain, a man who has clearly said he will appoint supreme court justices who will overturn Roe v. Wade? Not only that, but McCain, unlike Obama, does not stand up for equal pay for equal work. This does not make any sense. Not only that, but let me ask a simple but fundamental question: If the HRC woman supporters, most of whom are white, stab Obama in the back and kill his chances of being president by voting spitefully for McCain, do you think for one second that Black people are going to vote for HRC in 2012? Hell no. And do you think that any Democrat, including HRC, can win in this country without Black folks voting, when white people support Republicans by about 60%? Again, hell no. Bottom line, vote for Obama now and HRC still has a chance of being president in the future, or vote for McCain, infuriate Black folks, and see the Democratic party implode and lose presidential elections for an entire generation. And meanwhile, this wonderful country, founded in 1776, will continue is obvious decline in housing, health care, education, the enviroment, civil rights, etc., etc, until it is no more.

If you don't vote for your party's candidate, SWITCH PARTIES! You're not a team player and I certainly don't want you on my team! If you don't like your boss, you quit. Or you figure out a way to make it tolerable and play the game to best of your abilities or you get fired. Have you ever fired your boss? NO. My choice: fire you, you're a liability.

Puh-lease! If voters are true Democrats, if they believe and support the Democratic platform....there is only ONE choice. Obama will be supported by ALL true Democrats. There will always be a small percentage of people who have difficulty making any decision...so they will wait for the last minute and vote for whomever those who are most influential in their lives tell them to vote. I was a Hillary supporter, but to jump the fence and go against everything the Democratic platform stands for and vote for McCain? You must be sniffin' glue! Dems will support Obama 100%!

Obama will make a great President, he represents a positive change for stagnant America. I see a coming of a new day for America, because Bush showed me how bad it can become and that to continue in his ways is utter madness for the country. McCain keeps throwing his military experience into the wind to see what sticks. For me experience gained over time in a broken system is no experience at all, unless you are coming with substantive changes. McCain embraces the Bush policies and will continue to destroy America and the world with their self serving doctrines. All this talk of experience is a smoke screen, because Bush is a half wit idiot at the helm of the most militarily powerful country in the world, but he was voted in twice. Those who use the mantra that Obama is not experienced enough carry that torch, because that is all they have and there is weak evidence of what they speak. Obama for PRESIDENT.

I don't know what these people stand for.
I guess they're OK with overturning Rowe v Wade, going to War with Iran (and therefore $10.00 a gallon gas), having the Chinese take over Detroit's big three, letting health insurers get away with even preexisting conditions (healthcare for the privilidged few) expanding the Republican Plutocracy and letting the Chinese finace it, and having a few more Thomases and Scalitos with their thumbs on the scales of justice.

If they believe they can give the election to McCain, and then put HRC in in 2012, they're forgetting there'll be a lot more than 18 miilion who who'll remember what they did.

It will be very, very, ugly

Clinton women who say they will vote for McCain are either petty, racist or stupid.

1) You are petty that Clinton lost and will vote for anyone out of spite, even if it was George Bush again. It will destroy Roe v. Wade, lead to more war and ruin the economy... but who cares if it is the name of a vendetta.

2) They can not vote for an African-American and will vote for the "white guy" regardless of politics.

3) They don't get that McCain is pro-life, pro-oil, pro-war and pro-wealthy.

Im a Libertarian so I am not really happy with either choice, but the PUMA stance seems pointless to me. Good job there... destroy the party out of emotional pain... way to show progress.

We are talking about Obama don't have the experience but should we just cancel the elections and give it to McCain what world are we living in?

If we thought that he had all the experience why did we not give it to him the first time he ran for president, and one other thing he claims he will get OBL well he should let his buddy George Bush know that why holding out on that critical info.

A vote for McCain is a vote for Bush/Cheney policies. Democratic voters claiming Obama isn't experienced enough only need to look back 8 years to see a completely inept governor and failed businessman that was elected to TWO TERMS and has proven to be the worst president of the modern era. 4 more years carrying on his policies with McCain and a hostile Congress is a recipe for sameness of the past 8. All the Bush/Cheney insiders will remain under McCain and the working poor will get the shaft again.

I will also vote for John McCain . Barack Obama has done a crappy job in this state and I will not be a part of his mindless speeches to be my President. My family all fell the same . That is the main reason why I won't vote for this man, the second is his supporters who degrade anyone who does not like this man . They are the most disgusting and vile people I have ever read on these blogs. My family have made it there mission to help keep this moron from ever being in the White House .

The republicans are sitting back and laughing at those who are stupid enough to vindictively support a democratic nominee who will NOT be president, knowing that their democratic guests' efforts will only help mccain.

How sad that these supposed democrats are voting to continue what history will likely show are the worst presidential policies in the history of this country, all because their candidate didn't win the primary. Get over yourselves and do what's best for this country: Vote for the democratic candidate, Senator Obama.

OBAMA CAN'T WIN THE ELECTION BECAUSE OF 100 PEOPLE?

HAHAHA.

These 100 people (not 18 million) are sore losers and their pride was hurt when they came to Denver thinking there could have been more people. Good Luck PUMA.

I'm a Hillary supporter who isn't keen on Obama. I just don't like him, but he's going to be the Dem nominee. So, I have to make a second choice. Obama wasn't, and never will be, my first choice. But to think I share Hillary's Democratic values and could pick McCain as my second choice....heck no. Obama has to be our second choice. But don't ask us to love him. And don't call us racist because we don't. That will only drive us to our third choice. That's not McCain, either. Our third choice is to not vote at all.

Please stop it with the "Although I supported Hillary Clinton, I'm now backing McCain because Obama doesn't have the experience to be President". Give me a break. Hillary Clinton didn't have the experience to be President either. Just admit that you are angry that a young black guy beat the Clintons. You weren't going to vote for him anyway. You'd rather ruin the country further than admit that you are racist and a complete fool.

This is not about experience. McCain's been a senator for 26 years. If he's presidential material why didn't he run years ago? Is McCain's experience supporting Bush 95% of the time, the kind of experience we need now? Hell no.

Just how much experience does one need to be President? What kind of experience? 2 years?5 years? 10 years? 20 years? Governor, senator, CEO, soldier. Someone give me the parameters. If Obama were white, you wouldn't be talking about his lack of experience. This country is going down the toilet in a big way because too many of it's citizens are gullible, lying, bigotted fools. They'd rather see their country run into the ground than vote for a black man who is perfectly capable of running this country despite having been involved in politics for some 20 years! No experience???? PLEEEEEEAAASE!!!!!

The Clinton Supporters who are voting for McCain are just spoiled children.

How can anyone who supported Clinton and the things she supported even consider voting for McCain? It is just sour grapes.

So you would rather vote against your own best interest and that of the nation, just because you lost.

If Obama looses because the Clinton's tepid support, the Clinton will loose any power they have with the Democratic party.

All told, the seven properties at which the McCains can rest their weary heads after long days on the campaign trail are valued at nearly $14 million, according to two separate research documents obtained by RAW STORY…Average young adult?……..There's also the matter of the McCains' daughter, 23-year-old Meghan. While many 20-somethings are lucky if they get a car for a college graduation gift, Meghan's present for finishing at Columbia University was a $700,000 loft in a hip section of downtown Phoenix.
A GQ profile of Meghan McCain, whose only job at moment seems to be blogging on her father's behalf, described the loft's interior as looking "like a spaceship furnished by West Elm." Wooden block letters arranged above McCain's kitchen cabinets spell the word indulge.
One wonders if this is a lesson the young McCain learned from her parents, who, by the way, according to property records, paid for the condo in cash.

ANOTHER TOAST FOR THE MUTI MILLIONAIRS EVEN IF YOU ARE 23 YEARS OLD.........................NOT THE AVERAGE FAMILY.

You PUMAs need to realize that what goes around comes around - you want to destroy's Obama's chances for this election so that Hillary can run in 2012? I hope you realize that she will then need Obama's supporters on board as well - and what are Obama supporters going to do? We're gonna remember exactaly what you are doing now - Hillary will never be nominated because for how you are all acting towards Obama. You are trying to help and support Clinton but all you are doing is destroying any chances she will have to run for president again.

If these Hillary supporters really support Hillary, they ought to spend their time, energy & money to pay off Hillary's debt. Other stuffs are totally non-issue. These people hardly understand what Democracy is about. One vote could mean win or lose and loser should just move on.............next time....Do it better. What a nonsense these people are spinning.......Get a life!

Anyone who voted for Hillary Clinton could not possibly vote for John McCain and claim that they were ever Democrats!!!!!!!!! You are disrespecting Hillary and everything she stands for by voting for an out of touch blowhard who can't get over the fact that we lost in Vietnam and has to play the sympathy card about being a POW every time he is confronted with any issue that he has no answer for and there are many of those. I understand being angry and disappointed that your candidate lost, but you are biting off your nose to spite your face if you vote for John McCain. He is an angry and dangerous neocon who is so out of touch that he does not even know how many homes he owns!!! Please, if you are a Hillary supporter, honor her and her legacy and vote for Barack Obama. The stakes are too high in this election and we cannot afford to elect John McCain.

How can these people really be against equality for everyone, fairness for all, educating our children to become all that they can be.

To harbor such hatred for someone who wants to have the world respect us again. Who wants the US to be the light of the world, the true beacon for freedom. Obama seems to try very hard to live the way Christ wanted us to live. These Hillary supporters seem to like the way the US is going and do not want anything to change, so they cry about voting for McCain.

It's all soooooo sad.

Archuleta and everyone else who were Clinton supporters and are now naive enough to vote for McCain, are losers and quite simple minded. Obviously they do not care about womens rights, the economy, bringing our soldiers home from Iraq or any other issues that democrats are united behind!!! They are idiotic enough to rally behind a person and not a position!! Clinton and Obama's policies are inherently identical.. So it seems pretty clear that any Clinton supporter who will not vote for the democratic candidate, and will instead choose four more years of war and economic hardships, have deeper rooted issues against Obama than they would like to let on.
