Crowley: Kucinich brings the crowd to its feet

Kucinich got the crowd at the Democratic Convention excited Tuesday evening.
Kucinich got the crowd at the Democratic Convention excited Tuesday evening.

DENVER (CNN) - Delegates are still drifting into the Pepsi Center (no Coke allowed - no kidding). Dennis Kucinich, who took the stage a few minutes ago, just gave a shout-out to Ohio colleague and fellow Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones, who died last week: The congressman is wearing a big pin with her picture on it.

Kucinich is the first speaker tonight to bring someone other than his own delegation to their feet.

The theme is "Wake Up America." He woke them up here, anyway.

Kucinich should have been the Democratic nominee. He was the only cadidate willing to hold the current administration accountable. Obama nor the rest will touch the issue of accountability. What good is a political process or safeguard if no one is held accountable. Hell w/ it... I am still voting for Kucinich!!!

    That was really great.

Somebody needs to speak the truth about this evil administration.

4000+ precious life of American Troops wasted
    Millions of Iraqi lifes wasted
Gas prices more than 3X when Bush/Cheney took the presidency
People loosing their homes and McCain doesn't even know how many houses he owns.
Dollar lost over 60% of ist value because of Bush/Cheney

And now McCain who voted to 95% together with Bush wants to continue with the same tragegy?

    No way.

    America wake up.

Dennis found the right theme, "Wake Up, America!"

It's right because the majority of voters have been sleepwalking, focusing on nonsense like gay marriage and elitism when the economy has been self-destructing and our government has become both monetarily and morally bankrupt.

The S.S. America is sinking, folks. The last thing you want is a new captain from the same school that generated the one that got us into this.

Focus on saving our nation. Vote Democratic. Vote Obama!

YES! Fellow Americans: WAKE UP! Your country has sold its soul to the military-industrial complex. This is unacceptable. WAKE UP!!!!

I am very frustrated with the television coverage not with the Convention – I am tired of talking heads and not showing the actual convention – we did not hear Nancy Pelosi, Rendell, Hoyer and the others. I am starting to look for coverage elsewhere.

Nancy Floyd just showed the complete lack of economic and marketplace understanding that is a hallmark of Democrat "thinking"… and shot herself in the foot in the process by comparing "green" industry with the computer industry in 1984.

The computer industry thrived and created millions of high-paying jobs WITH NO HELP FROM GOVERNMENT. Did bureaucrats tell Steve Jobs how to build Apple??

Figure it out, Democrats, the government cannot create industries… the private sector does that just fine, thank you.

fyi: Dennis did not 'claimed to have been abducted by aliens' , he claimed to have seen a UFO. But I suppose facts don't matter much to people who don't care about them anyway...

He reminds me too much of the goof ball from Iran. He makes the Democratic party look like they are a bunch of wild nut balls. Unfortunately, the GOP has equally as many nut balls. How about a little more common sense and candor.... not raving lunacy like Ahmadinejad
