Watch Rudy Giuliani's interview with CNN.

(CNN)– Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani joined the choir of ardent Hillary Clinton supporters Tuesday night– asking why Barack Obama passed up the New York senator for his number two spot.

"I just think that they made a big mistake in the choice that they made," Giuliani told a CNN panel at the Democratic National Convention. "It's a no-brainer. [Hillary Clinton] got 18 million votes, Joe [Biden] got 9,000 votes...The normal political thing to do in terms of the best decision to make to win would have been to pick Hillary Clinton," Giuliani said urging the presumptive Democratic nominee to give an explanation to unhappy Democrats.

Giuliani has been an outspoken supporter of the presumptive Republican nominee John McCain since abandoning his own presidential bid - emphasizing the Arizona senator's talking points on various political broadcasts.

Last week, during his first conference call as a surrogate for McCain, the former New York mayor had a difficult time when the subject veered away from the intended foreign policy talk. Giuliani accused Daniel Kurtzer, an Obama adviser and former U.S. ambassador to Israel of engaging in a freelance “mission” to Syria - accusations at which the Obama campaign quickly fired back.

Asked Tuesday night if he would draw contrast between the two parties during his keynote address next week at the Republican National Convention, Giuliani said you can expect him to do exactly that.

"I'm sure there will be comparisons," Giuliani said. The choice is between "John McCain who has tremendous experience who has worked on both sides of the aisle, against a senator from Illinois [who is] one of the least-experienced candidates we ever had for president."

Giuliani is expected to be part of a news conference Wednesday, during the Democratic National Convention to discuss "why Barack Obama is wrong on national security," according to a media advisory.

paul Revere   August 27th, 2008 2:42 am ET

Simple answer is that Obama did not/could not choose Hil for the fact that she would not/could not stay on message, and Bill as the 3rd wheel, the Republicans would save a ton of money rolling out the scandals and just watching it unfold on it's own.

Smart move.

That is not to say (yet again) that Hillary does not deserve a cabinet post or even a seat on the Supreme Court, which I think, she would cement her legacy as one of the Supreme Court Justices of our time.

So tired of all the 'Obama lacks experience' whiners. Bush and Reagan had fewer achievements–do you folks whine about them? For that matter Dick Cheney, Don Rumsfeld, Tom DeLay, Phil Gramm and numerous other neo-cons had tons of so-called 'experience'...and where did all that experience take our country over the last 8 years???

We all know bosses who are idiots, and elders who are fools...rather than wise with experience. What matters are the policies and the execution. Obama's campaign has shown more detailed policies and better campaign execution than McCains. McCain has beat Obama so far only in spending negative ad money and spreading dirt.

After all the years of villification and slanderous actions against the Clintons, at the hands of McCain and the Republicans. McCain must be an idiot to think that his strategy of dividing the Democratic Party will work. McLame may have Alzheimers but we Dems have not forgotten. On the issues of the Economy, Healthcare, Abortion, Iraq & foreign policy, Energy and personal freedoms, Barack & the Democratic party are light years ahead of McCain and his idealess divisive clan. In 4 months the Republicans will suffer the consequences for the mismanagement of America for the last 8 years.

I hardly think Guiliani should tell anyone what good political moves are. The whole, wait it out 'till Florida really did well for him..huh? Probably the biggest blunder in Presidential Politics. He spent more money per delegate than anyone in Presidential political history. I respect him, but he should keep the advice to himself.

The fact that Republican Mayor Giuliani thinks Senator Obama was wrong to pick Biden and that Clinton was a no-brainer proves that it was the right decision. The Republicans were looking forward to energizing their base with anti-Clinton ads. They are just disappointed they can not attack Bill and Hillary Clinton now.

California (former) Democrat   August 27th, 2008 1:56 am ET

Mark this post: Obama will lose the election because he picked Biden over Clinton. This showed many Democrat fence sitters that he could not put his pride and ego on the shelf and pick the VP candidate who would have helped him to win a landslide victory against McCain. Poor judgment re: his first most important decision. I cannot vote for that. For all of you Obama supporters who rant and rave that Clinton supporters should "get over it," keep in mind that Obama could not get over himself. IF HE LOSES (AND HE WILL), IT WILL NOT BECAUSE I FAILED TO FALL IN LINE AS A GOOD DEMOCRAT, IT WILL BE BECAUSE HE MADE A VERY STUPID DECISION THAT ALIENATED 50% OF DEMOCRATS. Biden looks like McCain. The decision stinks and Obama will now sink. You should also know that I voted for Obama in the primaries and wish I could take that vote back (even though my state went to Clinton). I liked him before I saw the ugly side of his character–egotism, pride and shunning Hillary as if he were spoiling his party. Nader '08 Clinton '12.

sine   August 27th, 2008 1:42 am ET

Oh please- so now democrats are supposed to listen to Giulliani, sean hannity and McCain's campaign say that Hillary Clinton was a 'no brainer" – I mean seriously I can't imagine that my fellow democrats can be this gullible. We might as well start listening to Karl Roves advise.

They say this because they know that if Obama picked Hillary -not only would that rile up the republican base , they would have a worldwind of HIllarys own attacks on barack as ammo, and not to mention Barack's first presidential decision would have been viewed as "weak".

If dems/Indep. can't figure that out .....then you need to move over to the other side!!!

JackieB   August 27th, 2008 1:35 am ET

It took the McCain campaign exactly 5 minutes to come up with a speech highlighting all of Hillary's criticisms of Obama. What kind of field day would they have if Hill was the VP? Biden said far fewer negative things, but his comments were still brought up by Republicans as a problem for Obama.

Susan, PA   August 27th, 2008 1:32 am ET

Gilianni is just stirring the pot. Here's a man whose presidential bid las fall ended after 2 months. who was reviled in the state of new york until his reputation was saved by 9/11 which he totally profiteered from.

this loser is in no position to talk about "experience" when his own presidential campaign never got off the ground

Joe   August 27th, 2008 1:27 am ET

What do you expect to hear from Guilliani who spent over $50miilion for his GOP primary, but go less than 3 per cent of the primary votes? He could not even organize his political campaign and did not even win a single state! He is very good in marrying and divorcing!!!

JD   August 27th, 2008 1:27 am ET

It sends a message of divisiveness that Obama would pick Biden over Clinton. And it says a lot about him in the type of leader he would be. That basically he speaks one way about who he is and shows something else. Like how he won his Senate seat: http://attackmachine.com/blog/2008/08/20/how-did-obama-win-his-first-election/
An Obama/Hillary ticket would have been ost likely unbeatable landslide victory. I mean, isn't the goal to win the election?
Obama wants "change", the theme for the convention is "unity". Well which one is it really ? Wouldn't real change come from unity???
The most powerful statement of unity would have been an Obama/Clinton ticket.
Of Obama’s choice, McCain called it "wise". Wise, yes, but for Obama? McCain could only be smirking with joy.

It's laughable that Guiliani is calling Obama inexperienced. The ONLY reason he was even in the running was because of 9/11. Hell if I was the mayor of NYC back then I too would have been championed as a presidential candidate.

Robert C   August 27th, 2008 1:18 am ET

There are no "Democrats for McCain". These are merely Republican tools stirring a pot of soup they wish the media to keep eating from.

If you were truly for Hillary, you are now truly for Obama - perhaps not because of him (I can understand even despising him personally), but because of the politics. Hillary made it 100% clear: "No way. No how. No McCain".

I've yet to hear an argument to the contrary from any alleged former Hillary supporter now flipping to McCain that belongs anywhere outside of a schoolyard sandbox.

Andy in Charltote, NC   August 27th, 2008 1:15 am ET

What credibility does Giuliani have after possibly running the worst campaign in U. S. history?

Oscar   August 27th, 2008 1:03 am ET

Hillary supporters kill me. Which at the beggin I was one. I have heard ever lame reason why Hillary lost the race, but you want to know the one reason I havent heard because she lost the Dems primaries ? And that because of her ego yes I said it ego. It was Hillary and Hillary only who was so sure she was going to sweep thru super tuesday and win the Nomination. It was her lack of a plan for after super tuesday is why Obama was able to win the next 13 contest. Obama didnt force her not to have a plan that was on Hillary herself. At the end after she got her campain on track she won out the last contest but by then it was to late.

But everyone wants to blame everyone and everything esle. Obama was being sexiest, even tho the Clintons where the ones that made race a issue. Or at least Bill Clinton did. It was Hillary that ran the most Rep campain by a Dem that I ever seen. Obama didnt make Hillary tell that lie about snipper fire and yes that was a lie she didnt mispoke because she was tired. If she was confused about that time that must mean there was another time someone try to shoot at her and this was when ? Fact is she never been under snipper fire but it sure sounded on the campain tail didnt it ?

So when will the Hillary supporters finally be adults and admit your Hillary lost because of herself and no one esle. Voting for McCain because she didnt win isnt a good thing. It just shows more that Hillary supporters are just spoilded children who dont get there way they throw a rant.

Faye   August 27th, 2008 1:03 am ET

Now Giuliani is an expert on what the Democrats should do to win elections? Remind me of how well he did in the Republican primaries.

I don't think Hillary would have been happy in the VP spot anyway. She would have been in another supporting role behind a charismatic male. Been there, done that. She can be more effective advocating for her agenda in the Senate.

jm from sc   August 27th, 2008 1:02 am ET

If Hillary had dropped out of the race for president, she may have been selected as VP. It would be an insult to offer the VP spot to an individual who is still in the race. Until she release her delegates, she is official still running for president. Why are people being so stupid regarding that fact. The "no brainer," is to pick a running mate that will run with you, not against you.

Obama/Biden 08

Pete Smith   August 27th, 2008 1:02 am ET

McCain is older now than Reagan was when he was first elected. Think about that. Go back and look at pictures of presidents before and after their terms. There is no way McCain will survive if he is elected. Republicans better vote based on who the VP is.

Andrew   August 27th, 2008 1:01 am ET

Why is the opposition's fifth place finisher being asked for his opinion?

This man is not an expert. He was a complete failure in his bid to become president and treating him like an expert on presidential politics makes CNN look like a joke.

Keep trying to stir the pot! Haven't you heard Slurry 911: We're united now!! Hillary's moved on and now you and your Friend will have to find a new way to win. It won't be the issues (McCain and the GOP have none to run on) and it won't be this idea of Democratic Party discord (see Hillary's speech tonight). After President Clinton and Senator Biden have their say tomorrow, the "inexperienced, unqualified candidate" line will lose its power.

What else you got, McCain??

Republicans Hate Clintons!   August 27th, 2008 12:53 am ET

Republicans hate Clintons!!!!

Republicans always Unite to fight against Clintons! They know their own party does NOT SUPPORT McCain!!!! They only wish Clinton was on the TIcket, so that Republicans would actually go out and vote for McCain. They wish CLinton supportors would vote for McCain, because the real Republicans won't vote for McCain!!!

Republican after Republican is crossing the line and voting for Obama, because they trust Obama more! They like Obama better on the issues!

As long as Democrats stay together as Hillary says, then Obama will win by a landslide in 2008 and 2012!!!

If that happens, if Hillary's Supportors vote for Obama now, then it will insure that Hillary will be President after Obama! Giving us 16 Years!!!! Now that's the TRUE DREAM!!!!

Obama and Hillary being Presidents in 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020!!!

PUMA NEEDS TO THINK ABOUT THAT!!!!!
16 Years of Democrats is Better Than just 8!!!!!

An Obama Win Now, Will Insure A Hillary Win in 8 Years!!!!

Using that logic, McCain would have been Bush's best choice in 2000, Pat Buchanan Dole's best choice in 1996, and Jerry Brown as Clinton's pick in 1992. But that sort of "logic" is ridiculous.

I've heard enough of this contemptible man. The agenda of the GOP is transparent. They hope to win by tricking Hillary's supporters into actually believing that John McCain really cares about them, or about her. It is campaigning at its lowest. I guess when you have no credibility on REAL issues, the lowest, dirtiest tricks are all that's left. I hope that most Clinton supporters will not be taken in by this vile tactic. The GOP is using your candidate as a pawn, and against her wishes.

Who cares what Giuliani thinks. It makes perfect sense the he would think Hillary should be on the ticket: the two of them have a lot in common. They both went into the primary season thinking that it was just going to be a victory lap for them and they both found out otherwise. McCain scored a first round knock-out against this clown. If Barack Obama wanted to know how to lose an election impressively, he should ask Giuliani. Otherwise, he'd be an idiot to take anything he says seriously.

Michael   August 27th, 2008 12:35 am ET

Because Obama did not pick Hillary as VP, she will likley never have a chance at running on the Democratic ticket as President.

If Obama loses in 2008, many Democrats will blame here supporters and the party will shun her in 2012.
If Obama wins in 2008, he runs again in 2012. If he wins in 2012 his VP will be by far the most likley choice for President on the 2016 ticket.

If Obama loses she is shunned and as long as Obama wins she has no opportunity to run. He struck her down for good by not making her VP.

Hillary might have been in the running for VP if she had spoken like she did tonight sooner than tonight. Instead she selfishly led her supporters to believe the race was closer than it really was, and that she had won the popular vote, when that was only true with some very creative math.

She bashed him in a desperate attempt to win by default if he melted down. Now McCain is using her in ads against Obama. She doesn't deserve the VP position.

This race was hers to lose and she lost it. Obama and his team took advantage of every opportunity and it paid off. She is where she should be.

I do think this speech tonight was her finest hour, and I also think she will have many finer hours. (I'm not a fan of her or Bill, but let's tell it like it is. ) But no. She should not be the running mate.

Voting for Obama   August 26th, 2008 11:53 pm ET

"You haven't worked so hard over the last 18 months, or endured the last eight years, to suffer through more failed leadership," Clinton told the delegates. "No way. No how. No McCain."

The Blind Lady of Justice   August 26th, 2008 11:52 pm ET

She gave a great speach but who, in their right mind believes that Guiliani has the best interests of the party in mind?

If I get the chance to punch Wolfe Idiot Blitzer in the nose though, watch out.

His nimrod question to Rendell after the speech was tabloid journalism.

I'm now going to PBS for the rest of the convention.

LINDA   August 26th, 2008 11:51 pm ET

Hillary's speech was greatttttttttttttt......

Penn Voter   August 26th, 2008 11:51 pm ET

Nobama Nobama Nobama

If we want Bill Clinton economics then why is the DNC going for Obama and not Clinton ? Why Biden and not Clinton?

The DNC leadership is stupid. Stupid if they think that Independents will vote for a donkey DNC puts in a suit on stage. We are Independents because we can think for ourselves. We do not need to told what to do by big brother. Either bring us messages of substance or lose our votes.

Clinton yes, Obama no

Nobama Nobama Nobama

DEREK   August 26th, 2008 11:50 pm ET

The sudden consern and constant conversation shown by the Repubs towards the Dems and Clinton are so obvious. I am sure some of the bitter Clinton Clingers will fall for this crap. Rudy was a shocking dissappointment.

mcbush thanks mcclinton   August 26th, 2008 11:50 pm ET

is this guy still alive
i thought he was gone with 9/11
that is all he knows to talk aobut

he is nuts
send him to hillary
she cracks nuts

Derrick - Houston   August 26th, 2008 11:50 pm ET

What, Rudy? No 9-11 reference? You could use a brain, and a heart and some courage, and a ticket back to where ever you came from-

Why is he even AT the DNC?

jack   August 26th, 2008 11:50 pm ET

Rudy speaking about how Obama is wrong on foreign policy. That comming from a man who includes three things in a sentence, a noun, a verb and 9/11. Not going to work this time, Rudy.

Kim   August 26th, 2008 11:49 pm ET

Dividing a party or not... He speaks the truth and you know it. What's sad, is that the inexperienced is the democratic nominee.

Wow, that speech she gave today was AMAZING... Obama and Biden pales in comparison.

McBain   August 26th, 2008 11:49 pm ET

Obama didn't pick Clinton because her husband didn't want to open his books to the vetting team and the American people (post election).

Thuy, California   August 26th, 2008 11:48 pm ET

It is quite simple, Obama wants to have a VP that got the least votes so that he would be always the star of the universe.

Brian   August 26th, 2008 11:48 pm ET

Although Guiliani's spewing the Republican line, he is also correct. An Obama-Clinton ticket would have been a sure thing. And a Clinton-Obama ticket would have been even more of a sure thing.

jeanette   August 26th, 2008 11:46 pm ET

How many times did Rudy mention 911? Did anybody count?
Rudy tried to run for president on the dead bodies of 911 victims- he shouldn't even be allowed to show his face on any respectable news show.
Shame on you, Rudy. Shame!

We are the UNITED Democrats of America!

We're going to kick some Republican Arse!!!!!

CAW in MD   August 26th, 2008 11:46 pm ET

Of course Giuliani wanted Clinton as VP - that's the one sure way to unify the Republican base. Without that rallying cry, McCain and whoever he picks for his VP will have to attempt unification all by themselves.

Good luck with that.

Tehran   August 26th, 2008 11:46 pm ET

Is there just one Republican because they all say the same thing? Its like one person think up a plan and everyone else just repeat it. At lease Democrats disagree on issues and reasons to vote for someone or not. Lets talk about why McCain marriage failed???? I really want to hear that one . . .

zuq   August 26th, 2008 11:46 pm ET

Rudy, nobody cares what you think. That's why you're not the Republican choice nor a VP candidate. Your own party doesn't like you. I'm suprised they found enough pillows for the chair you sat in to reach the mic. Someone should smack your head like the guy on Benny Hill.

Tim   August 26th, 2008 11:46 pm ET

How are your kids doing??

PCL   August 26th, 2008 11:45 pm ET

When you want to know something about cooking, ask a good cook. When you want to know something about politics, ask a winner. Why listen to Guiliani when he also thought HE would be the Republican nominee. I guess waiting until the Florida Republican Primary was also a "no-brainer". The counsel of "911 Rudy" is not a good bet.

Always a Dem in TX   August 26th, 2008 11:44 pm ET

I've been an Obama supporter from the beginning but I don't think any true Democrat that heard her speech tonight can help but admire and respect what she has done. I'm sure that standing up there today must have been extremely difficult for someone who had worked so hard hoping for a different result. However, she is mature and wise enough to realize that this campaign wasn't about her, it was about the future of this country. I can only hope her blindsighted McCain supporters would learn a thing or two from her.

Hillary, I applaud you for all that you have done for this country. I'm sure there is more to come. Till then, Obama/Biden '08!

Andy   August 26th, 2008 11:44 pm ET

This is pure political spin. I am sure Giuliani would have had an equally specious argument on why Clinton was the wrong choice for VP if she had gotten the nod. I expect nobody takes his and Romney's Punch and Judy show very seriously.

Tori, Oregon   August 26th, 2008 11:44 pm ET

blah blah blah 9/11 blah blah blah. I remember you Mayor Giuliani after 911 and I held such respect for you UNTIL you turned it into yours instead of ours. IT HAPPENED TO ALL OF US AND WE ALL HAD TO HANDLE IT. NOT JUST YOU.

John Zeger   August 26th, 2008 11:43 pm ET

Guiliani is right. Obama will pay for this in November.

Bye Bye Hill-Billies   August 26th, 2008 11:43 pm ET

Obama select Hillary for VP to win the election?

That's a perfect example of winning the battle and losing the war.

Look at how the Clintons are behaving – especially Bill. Hillary would spend the whole term doing everything she could to to upstage Obama.

Maybe McCain ought to select Hillary for VP? I think he should!

AAA   August 26th, 2008 11:42 pm ET

Rudy...you are useless and your opinion doesn't matter. The republicans will lose anyway. Enough of the bad economy, ignorance and fear mongering. We need to focus on the future for our kids sake and make sure America stands tall in the world. Its no longer about the benefits of the few and the wealth of the connected. People are suffering.. wake up and smell the coffee Mr. New Yorker.

Mike   August 26th, 2008 11:42 pm ET

Now every body knows that this jerk is a hitman for Mc Cain. Whats shocking is that even knowing that Republicans will never be able to fairly Govern the people of this Once great Nation. He still wants to be one that bothers me. How could anyone want to be a greedy , war mongering elitist, new world order pushing , ego having , let the poor people starve type. Get real , and please with the Evangelicals get real do you really think the one true lord would support these freaks one sided veiw I mean come on read the bible. ..... Shame shame I say.

Frank, California   August 26th, 2008 11:41 pm ET

And we care what Giuliani thinks why? Isn't he still in Florida somewhere waiting to win?

I've been hearing this narrative in the media and from the Republicans, "Oh, Hillary was sooo qualified" "Why do they treat Hillary so badly" "Blah Blah Hillary Blah" . Do they think Democrats are stupid? Or is it that they think women who supported Hillary are such emotional voters that all they have to do is give them sympathetic pats on the back and they will run over to John McCain... oh wait, lol.

I think except for a small irrational few, the rest of the convention will turn them around if Hillary and Michelle's speeches haven't already.

OBAMA/BIDEN 2008

Obama/Biden 08   August 26th, 2008 11:40 pm ET

I love to see a guy who was leading in the national polls among Republicans and should have had the nomination locked up, lecturing a guy who came from down 30 points against a heavy favorite (Hillary Clinton) whose nomination seemed inevitable, on how to run a campaign. Sorry, Rudy, I used to have some respect for you, but I don't respect your opinion on running political campaigns anymore.

Sandy   August 26th, 2008 11:38 pm ET

Mafia Rudy is no brains.

Doesn't he know about her law suit coming up soon? Hasn't he talked to Larry King who has to be a witness?

Neil McIver   August 26th, 2008 11:37 pm ET

Clearly Clinton was the best choice from a marketing standpoint and it would have united the convention – imagine how this convention would have gone if she had been the VP Candidate?? He speech demonstrated how powerful she could have been. It would have been amazing.

I like Biden and I think he's a good choice. But Obama's choice does kind of make McCain's point about experience. He can't attack to wacky right wing McCain on being 'old Washington' anymore. I think Biden was a politician in Washington while McCain was still a POW.

By the way, love Carville tonight, he tells it like it is. It was a bad night to be a Rubublican!

Tom in VA   August 26th, 2008 11:37 pm ET

Rudy is a complete idiot, and I used to like him. He has way overplayed 9/11. As for McCain...EXPERIENCE = isolated from the world and reality in a POW camp, dumping his sick wife for a rich hot chick, getting fat and old for 20+ years in the senate where they pretty much do nothing but chair committees on steroids in baseball. Where exactly is the "experience" that has anything to do with leading the country? THERE IS NO ONE WHO HAS NEVER BEEN PRESIDENT WHO CAN EVER CLAIM TO HAVE "THE EXPERIENCE TO BE PRESIDENT". Obama doesn't, and McCain doesn't. And if you think Obama is a bigger risk, can you really afford the "safe" choice?

Michael   August 26th, 2008 11:37 pm ET

So it's a no-brainer then that Mitt Romney will be McCain's VP? 22% of the Republican primary popular vote, after all..how'd you do Rudy??

Just Another Gay   August 26th, 2008 11:33 pm ET

Of course Giuliani and the rest of the Republicans were rooting for Hillary. They were chomping at the bit to go against Hillary. They had their whole campaign prepared. When Obama won the Primary it sent them into a tail-spin. They're still trying to figure out how to let loose their dogs of war on him. They already knew how to do it against a Clinton.

That said, it was a hell of a speech Hillary gave! For our sakes, I hope she stays in the Senate and doesn't run for governor. Ted Kennedy may be handing over the torch of hope in the Presidency to Obama, but he should consider getting Hillary ready for his Senatorial Liberal Lion mantle. She'll be fantastic there and create a legacy as rich as Ted's.

Ujukipu   August 26th, 2008 11:30 pm ET

How transparent.

Rudy: " I think, 9/11, that Joe Biden, 9/11, is not a , 9/11, good choice, 9/11, for VP. I still, 9/11, think that I, 9/11, should have been, 9/11, the GOP's, 9/11, choice".

Donna   August 26th, 2008 11:28 pm ET

Rudy wasn't seen THIS MUCH when he was campaigning on his own behalf...must be something in it for him...of course they wanted him to pick Clinton...it would have easier for them to attack...they don't care about her well being...or anyone else's for that matter...keep playing the "Hillary" card...maybe McCain should put her on his ticket since he is soooo concerned...

Didn't Giuliani spend 48 million for one delegate?

Sorry... Why would anyone care what he has to say concerning "decision making"?

Seanm   August 26th, 2008 11:26 pm ET

Rudy's a joke. In 2000 when he was running against Clinton for Senator in my home state of NY he ran like a girl when he realized he was going to lose. The Republicans ended up with Rick Lazio (who?) who was easily trounced by her. He couldn't even win an election in his home state let alone on a national stage (remember when Florida was his "firewall"?). Why McCain tapped him is beyond me.

Dave-o, Honolulu HI   August 26th, 2008 11:26 pm ET

The only no brainer here is Rudy G himself. I don't know what relevance this political loser has to anything. He's a member of the party of the past and the party of 8 years of failures. Failure in foreign policy, failure in domestic policy, failure with the economy and hopefully when it's all said and done, the party of war criminals and law breakers who hopefully will do hard time. I look forward to the war crimes and corruption trials of bush, cheney, rummy, gonzo and condi.

typical republican reteroic, fuel the fire to split the party. Got news for you, its not going to work this year. I'm betting that 80% of all the blogs addressing Sen. Marie in California   August 26th, 2008 11:20 pm ET

Hillary as VP would have been a SURE win for the Dems in November. But Obama chose Biden. Just another example of Obama's poor judgment.

I disagree. I don't think that Hillary was a no-brainer for VP choice for Obama. He's a relatively weak person and would have been no match for a strong personality like Hillary's. He knew it (everyone knew it) and he went with someone else. He would have been completely overshadowed by Hillary. He couldn' have picked her.

Definitely agree!!

I guess McCain and Romney will be partners after all. Governor Flip and Senator Flop.

The Republicans had their turn. Their failures were catastrophic.

We got next.

Republicans stir up trouble. Guiliani is a loser crybaby, why would his judgment matter? Please stop taking 9/11 credit. You were not harmed, you just thought 9/11 gave you political power over what you really had. Sit down and shut up.

Duh. But, Democrats have always been pretty unintelligent when it came to business decisions.

Hence, why they are 3-10 in elections.
