Yeah, regardless of experience, who is going to be the most coherent when woken up at 3 am? Not the 72 year old man. They'd be lucky if they could even wake him up in time to deal with a fast paced crisis that early in the morning.

Since Republicans usually hate everything about Hillary Clinton, these ads are just spin, trying to butter up those still faithful to Hillary.
But Republicans are wasting their time trying to woo Hilary's supporters. A Democrat who'd vote for McCain over Obama simply on the Hillary issue is not a true Democrat at all. Democrats are not one issue people like some Republicans are. Any Dem with half a brain (which is half more than most Republicans) realizes that McCain is a 180 from Hillary.

I'm a Hillary supporter and now I'm both a Hillary supporter and an Obama supporter. These Republican ads aren't fooling me. It'd be like if the Dems dug up Bush's old ads against McCain in the 2000 primaries. Do you think Republicans would fall for that?

If either of the Clintons have any modcum of decency, they'd be very, very ashamed of themselves right now!

Imagine, you are a stalwart leading member of the Democratic Party but you are the featured star in the last four ads by the Republicans.

But then, the Clintons have no shame! None!

Hillary ran negative ads and lost the nomination or could not win it. This John McCain would want to have a go at anything that has failed including George Bush's policies.

I can't believe this republicans, they think putting fear in the American public will elect McCain to the white house. This is sure a dirty game and republians claim to care for the people? I feel very sorry for this country, a country blessed by God but dirty old and selfishness politicans are bringing this conuntry down. This is so sad........... The country is not the same and these fools are so happy in destroying it. But I have a message for you self destructing evil does. Man is man but God is God..... You keep destroying the other person because God has the final say. Also bear in mind that what you do today will affect all of us including all your children. The evil that men do live after them. God bless Obama because the more McSame and republicans attack him. The more God keep blessing him and lifting him up. People go back to the bible and see how God used orginal people with no experience in a might way. Bush and his company had experience, where is the country today? People be careful for what you ask for? Bush and McCain claim to be christians but they are worst than ever non believers.

These guys are the anti-christ be used by the devil. People look around and see all the signs just like the book of Revelations stated. The devil promote fear and that's what the republicans are doing to the America people. How sad.....

I need to use this space (no other space has been provided) to register my deep disappointment with CNN's coverage last night. I'm not sure how a network can criticize the Democrats for not staging effective television or not providing a message in its speeches when it did not even show the speeches themselves and instead talked right through them. This coverage is even more confounding given CNN's recent patting itself on the back for showing extended clips of speeches so that voters could make up their own minds on the candidates. Put aside how insulting it is to suggest we voters need to be told by the media that we can decide for ourselves, the convention coverage then went right ahead and framed the night as a wasted opportunity for Democrats without actually giving us the chance to decide for ourselves. Someone will have to explain to me how this is an example of the "best political team on television."

Lets face it. Hillary was right. He is inexperienced.
And if Hillary had won the nomination... McCain would be using Obama's words and commercials to his gain.

She has denounced the commercials. There's nothing any politician can do about it. This isn't the first time this has happened.
And it won't be the last. Wait until the RNC has their convention.
BHO will be doing the same thing. Putting out negative ads during it.

It was a Democratic primary fight. If you can't stand the heat... You can blame Clinton but I would hope Obama knows how to fight this. This is nothing compared to what the President will face with China or Russia. You want Clinton Democrats to stop whining. Perhaps you should do the same about how unfair or damaging these ads were/are. Get over your high and mighty elitist selves.

How is it that McCain is running on the notion that he's going to bring a different administration in than what we've had the last 8 years, and before he's even in office he's preaching the same "be afraid - be very afraid" scare tactic/control message?

Nobody sees that? Or is everyone just looking for an excuse to rally behind imperialism?

Is it me, or does CNN replay McCain's campaign ads over and over again as "news"? I guess the more outrageous and controversial the campaign ad, the more likely CNN will replay it - thus resulting in free airtime for McCain. CNN is becoming more of a McCain mouthpiece than Fox "News".

I'm glad others have noticed that when McCain comes out with an ad, CNN provides the actual video. But for Obama, it's just a still-shot. I swear, CNN, get it together! I've been a loyal CNN supporter, but I'm beginning to sense a lack of objectivity and fairness. I have no problem going elsewhere for my news...

The McCain crowd are way beyond pathetic, and SCARED!
At 3 am in the morning, McCain will most likely not even be able to figure out which house he is snoring asleep in and whether or not there's a phone somewhere.

If the USA chooses these kind of people to non-govern for a third time in a row, it will cut an even more sorry figure than it already does.

If a call comes at 3 AM if shoot-from-the-hip McCain is in the White House we have problems. This guy wanted to invade Iraq just after 9/11, way before the WMD lies were developed by Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld. How fast would he be to send in young men & women before using judgement and diplomacy to avoid conflict. Fast enough that we would need to reinstate the draft.

It's so dishonest because they don't tell you that US aggression has created so much of the "uncertainty" and "radicalism" that we now face. McCain's policies will serve to increase these problems, just as W's policies have. This ad would be funny if it didn't work on some weak-minded, fearful people. Hey, sheep, wake up, you're lined up to be fleeced again.

More cheap shots by the McCain campaign to sway the weak minded people. After eight (interesting?) years and a current economy that is horrific I wonder if McCain is ever going to talk about his ideas to fix this mess. He probably won't because he can't.
If I had a wife worth 100 million I wouldn't care much about the economy either! Instead you will hear more about Paris Hilton/Rev Wright/Rezko/Flag Pin/ anything but an important issue/etc...
It took 8 years but I learned my lesson,
Obama/Biden 08/12
and Hillary Clinton in the cabinet of course!

Andt there are still "Hillary Supporters that STILL don't understand why she could NOT be VP! Hillary has done so very much to destroy this election for Obama words can not express just how repulsive she has become to the American people.

She and "her supporters" had better hope she fixes this in some way therewise she is through. McSame did not have a platform to stand on against Obama other than the one Hillary gave him! And the nerve of them even thinking she is owed ANYTHING than a slap in the face, well she ALL that she meant to hurt Obama is and will backfire in her face!

SHE HAD BETTER SAY SOMETHING MORE THAN "I SUPPORT OBAMA AND YOU SHOULD TOO!"

Lesson here - do no evil, say no evil, see no evil, hear no evil.

I hope this is a lesson not just for the Clinton's but for all of us - AMERICANS.

Come on McCain, give us a reason to vote for you. And if Hillary Clinton is so great go ahead and name her as your VP. That way you are guaranteed to get the votes of her supporters. But you believe they are fools, so you only want the votes of her supporters and are not willing to support the issues Clinton stood for. If you are really serious, make Hillary your VP and I will volunteer for your campaign. I won't vote for you though.

This is the problem with partisan politics and why I will never belong to a political party. When Hillary made those comments about McCain and Obama she meant them. But now she is supposed to act nicey-nicey and pretend she supports Obama, "forthe good of the party".

Hey Obama campaign….

How about obtaining some or all of the scumbag Rove's ads from the Bush campaign from back in 2000 where he totally destroyed McCain in the primaries of that year?? And rerunning them or using them now for Obama in 2008??? Then add the final….McCain = Bush. Now that would be…….priceless.

Could someone in the know please forward my suggestion to the Obama people.....thanks !!!

Hello;
No one should be pleased with that add!!! Yes, we all admire McCain for his military service. However, that Does Not equal to the office of President! Senator McCain will only repeat the Republican line. Further, his belief that the nation of Iraq should remain indefinately under our control is totally out of line!!!!!!!!!! Help them finalize that Mistake and get out of their country!! Eight years of that non-sense has been more that enough! Elect Senator Obama for positive change so that we can again be proud of our policies!!!!!!!

The Republicans have run this game so long on the American people that they don't even care about being seen right out in the open doing dirt. They know that there are plenty of serfs that will support thier tactics.

FACT - an American citizen has a better chance of being struck by lightning twice than being physically harmed by terrorism.

FACT - the #1 cause of bankruptcy among Americans is medical costs.

Which is the bigger threat?

So all of you republicans are right, American's do have something to fear......the same McBush politics.

Obama/Biden 2008!

sadly on september 11 2001 ,

a few thousand people lost their lives due to 19 terrorist.

7 years later, we are trillions of dollars in debt.

the mastermind behind the attacks is still walking the earth.

more americans have now been killed in combat in iraq than were killed on september 11.

republicans claim that national security, terrorists, rogue nations are what we should be afraid of.. the reason we must build up our military to protect americans...the reason why money is taken from our health care system, our education system, etc.etc.

so this is how i see things,, republicans ingore the needs of americans, insist on having the most powerful military on the planet to protect us. so over the past few years, this administation has ignored the people that they have gone to war to protect, people are dying because they cant afford health insurance, our dependence on crude oil, both foreign and american, has crippled our economy while a few people get richer and richer..our military has taken such a blow, it would seem unlikely that it could handle any real threat on american soil.. and yet in all this time.. tens of thousands of americans have been murdered on american soil, by americans. why are thier deaths not worthy of trillions of dollars..

so this is what i dont understand about republicans.. spend trillions of hard earned and much needed american dollars to go on a witch hunt because of 19 men who infiltrated our flawed local national security, while ignoring the needs of tens of millions of americans, all the while crippling our military... all the while americans are killing americans in our own country.. why .. why .. why is fighting arab terrorists more important than fighting american terrorists.

republicans use fear of the unknown to scare americans, when they should be dealing with american crisises right here in our own back yard... who knows.. maybe that guy who robbed that bank and killed those people could of had a job if only we had a stable economy, and maybe some americans lives, who are just as important as those that died on september 11th could have been saved.

so ultimately i just dont understand why anyone would want to continue down this obviously flawed path and vote for john mccain.. especially you PUMA people..(whom i dont believe to be true democrats or else they wouldnt even consider voting for mcsame .. not even on their deathbeds... they are polar opposites.. mccain and clinton.. you are aware of that.. and if you are .. then it is time for you to wipe those tears off your face, grow the flip up... and make sure the democratic party takes control of our goverment,, and again makes it a government for all the people of america, not haliburton, not oilmen, but all americans)

Blah blah blah. It didn't work for Hillary. It won't work for McCain.

Anonymous..you are full of it. The situation in Georgia was and is complex. Much more complex than you can possibly imagine. Your analogy is probably the worst one I've seen. McCain was calling for restraint, too. As was Bush. And they all were demanding Russia pull back. This, after the Georgians wiped out a village full of Russians without provocation.

Get your facts straight or get lost.
