I think hillary made a great speach of unity and she talks directly to her reticent, hard to let go supporters of hers when she asked them whether they were in this for her or for the issues. her facial expressions was good as if she put to a rest her hanger about not winning the nomination, as if she meant what she was saying. Hail Obama / Biden 08

Outstanding Speech

Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama, two very well polished speakers.
If Demoncrats didnt get the message then something is wrong.

United we stand divided we fall. It doesnt matter how many people
who tries to turn this around into a negative, its a positive, can't touch
this as MC Hammer says in his song. Can't touch this Good luck
Obama and the Demoncrat party. We love you Clintons.

Hillary, the woman who should be president, was awesome! :)

Obama has no judgment!

Biden, Barack's Irish Roman Catholic VP pick, is unable to take communion because of the abortion issue and Pelosi's big, uninformed mouth!

And, there is more information coming out about Obama/Ayers connection and the Chicago Annenberg Challenge Foundation! :(

Also, McCain is ahead in the polls!

But, the arrogant, novice Obama seems to believe in his own infallibility. Nothing is advanced through his Sophist rhetoric! However, Obama continues to spew his left-wing ideology with a smug belief in his own certitude while he ridicules others with inappropriate condescension!

This former democrat will vote for McCain 08! Country comes before party and John McCain is a moderate in touch with mainstream America! :)

John   August 27th, 2008 12:42 am ET

I don't think Mr. McCain has anything to worry about Folks!! Obama has trashed everyone name for weeks and now Hillary has pulled him from his own dirty name calling. After watching that drama show on tv, John McCain has not problem.

RJ, CA   August 27th, 2008 12:15 am ET

It shoulda, it coulda been Hillary! WE WILL REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER!

Farrell, Houston, Tx   August 27th, 2008 12:01 am ET

JUST CALL JOHN MCCAIN "ELMER FUDD" BECAUSE HE CAN'T TOUCH THESE DEMOCRATS SO HE'LL DO WHAT UNINTELLIGIBLE PEOPLE DO, SLING MUD.

Anonymous   August 26th, 2008 11:51 pm ET

Guess the Clintons are getting Chelsea ready to run for Pres. one day since here dear mother did not get it. Why is it that Chelsea is always upfront kissie kissie and hugging her mothr all the time instead of Bill. Seems odd to me.

Anonymous   August 26th, 2008 11:48 pm ET

The democrats are such phony's. I do feel sorry for them, as they are so gullable. They just do not believe anything. That is why I do not even believe everything the republicans say either. People need to wise up. They tell you anything they think you want to hear. They never tell you how or when they are going to do anything. We will still be discussing these same issues 8 years from now. Just wait and see.

Anonymous   August 26th, 2008 11:43 pm ET

If you think you have seen a campaign just wait until the Republicans put their show on. Then see who the winners will be.

Loretta   August 26th, 2008 11:31 pm ET

When will this nonsense be over. McCain all the way.

Anonymous   August 26th, 2008 11:26 pm ET

Wake up. The change Obama is going to leave us is the chump change we will have left in our pockets after he is threw picking them.

MK   August 26th, 2008 11:13 pm ET

If the Dems still can't see the mistake they made after Hillary's speech, they deserve to lose the Presidential election. Hillary is probably the most brilliant person in the Democratic party. Everybody else look mediocre or downright foolish compared to her. Nancy Pelosi is so jealous that she ganged up with others to bring Hillary down. It's a sad day for the Dems. They will never pick themselves up again.

Kim   August 26th, 2008 10:57 pm ET

Don-get off the blog you are the epidemy of ignorance

Anonymous   August 26th, 2008 10:57 pm ET

Can you please turn off that ridiculous fake "Sound from the floor" meter on the left side of the TV screen?

aliou FL   August 26th, 2008 10:56 pm ET

Negative comments can't take cnn anywhere but to the gutter.

Quinn - Houston, Texas   August 26th, 2008 10:56 pm ET

John McCain is looking for a few good Democrats.

Leave your party and your principles behind and help him make your family suffer till 2012.

Then, let John McCain win re-election at the hands of the Obama PUMA's who will also want revenge.

Are you getting the picture yet?

Venge voting makes no sense and no one wins...except John McCain.

Colo Sprgs, CO   August 26th, 2008 10:53 pm ET

No way, no how, no McCain! Hear that Puma idiots? That's your girl speaking. Now do the right thing and help elect a democrat into the Whitehouse and end this foolishness. Obama/Biden '08

Joe Reg   August 26th, 2008 10:52 pm ET

No way, no how, no McCain.

That is the new Hillary. We must unite to recapture the White House.

Obama/Biden 08.

TN FOR OBAMA   August 26th, 2008 10:49 pm ET

No Way

No How

NO McCAIN

Pat   August 26th, 2008 10:37 pm ET

I don't care for the Clinton's either, but will somebody please tell me why you all have gone crazy over bo – I see nothing in him to go wild over. He has nothing to offer but words, he has pulled a real slick one on a lot of Americans. I just don't get it!

chanting works   August 26th, 2008 10:36 pm ET

I was going to say he hit one this time until he started getting the chanting going again. I'd love to get a fact check on how he could possibly know we don't have enough oil here to be worth drilling for and how he could possibly know those figures.

Michelle   August 26th, 2008 10:34 pm ET

That stage decor is hideous. It looks like something from a casino or amusement park.

By the way, why can't Obama carry himself across the finish line?

wanbligi   August 26th, 2008 10:32 pm ET

It is an historic night for the Democratic National Convention with the first time a woman, Hillary, has gained so much attention because of her tight run in the primary. Along with her husband, former President Bill Clinton, will address the convention. The Democrats will be united at the end of this convention and that is all that matters, when we elect the next President of the United States and Vice President of the United States, Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

Thank you so much Hillary supporters for learning along the way and being ultimately what we all desire at the polls is a vote for the Democrats.

Thanks.

Don   August 26th, 2008 10:32 pm ET

It's a sad day for Democrats.
You have the Clintons who have done nothing but divide the party and who can be held accountable for the loss of the election this November.
Hillary has proven to lack leadership skills over and over again. She is nothing more than a puppet of Bill. Bill the ladies man who is still running wild.
Yes a sad day for us true Democrats who are stuck with the Clintons wanting nothing more than for them to be on the top of the pile no matter what it takes. Screw any other Democrats the Clintons want it all and could care less for anyone else.

DEMOHIO   August 26th, 2008 10:31 pm ET

This convention so far is lackluster. Too much focus on phrases that don't work rather than actual substance. I'm not satisfied. Third party looks good.

Dominique Taylor, VA   August 26th, 2008 10:31 pm ET

The pundits were trying to figure out the man sitting next to Pres. Clinton, I think it's Mervyn Leroy Jones II, the late Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones son.

vic nashville,Tn   August 26th, 2008 10:29 pm ET

We having party in front of TV
Thanks to CNN
We are witting to see our future president Hillary to speak
Hillary 2012 / Mc Cain 2008

Yoseph   August 26th, 2008 10:25 pm ET

Go Hillary ... i cannot say much you walk to walk and let others do the talk.

brian   August 26th, 2008 10:25 pm ET

I'm ecstatic. PUMAs are irrelevant. There are only a few hundred of them anyway, they just make more noise than the rest of us because CNN gives them a bullhorn. Clinton will give us every reason to elect Barack Obama that we need.

Obama08   August 26th, 2008 10:24 pm ET

How rude of Bill Clinton to arrive in the middle of a speech and for CNN to fawn all over him when an amazing speech is being delivered.

CNN's fascinations with the Clitons is disgusting and its coverage of this convention patheyic!! This isn't about drama..it's about electing a president.

what.   August 26th, 2008 10:22 pm ET

I can't believe Bill Clinton had the audacity to come in the room mid speech, start talking to everyone and hugging everyone, even Duval Patrick looked annoyed. That guy really has some nerve.

I wonder how much he paid that black guy to sit next to him.

Wisconsin   August 26th, 2008 10:22 pm ET

Bill Clinton showed up at 9:20 Central time. So I guess CNN's article about Bill not showing up could not be more wrong.

Maybe now is not the time to just make things up. CHECK FACTS!!!
