Hillary Clinton addresses delegates at the Democratic National Convention.

DENVER (CNN) — This is the closest thing to a red meat speech this convention has gotten. And man, are these delegates hungry.

Watch: "I support Barack Obama," Hillary Clinton says

"No way. No how. No McCain" is likely to get picked up.

The Clintons have always been devoted to the cause of stopping the Republican right. It’s the message that unites Clinton and Obama supporters.

I am a moderate republican (and a female)…and as yet I will be voting for McCain (on my own principles…spare me the gibes if you will.) I just gained a tremendous amount of respect for Hillary Clinton. She just, selflessly, put self-pride to the wayside. I appreciate that she seems to have put her personal wounds aside and strongly endorsed who she will support. I embrace the democratic process. As much as I would've cringed to say this during the primaries…she just conducted herself as an absolute, consumate professional…and leader.

Sickofpoliticians   August 26th, 2008 11:24 pm ET

What a load of typical professional politician crap, and you people are falling for it.

PUMA together for Obama   August 26th, 2008 11:24 pm ET

It was a great speech! If I vote against Obama I vote against Hillary!
I got the message loud and clear!
Democrats 08/12

Wow   August 26th, 2008 11:24 pm ET

That supporter that's on right now being interviewed, that's it right there. But McCain will be getting my vote. Barack is no Hillary. Character counts.

ash   August 26th, 2008 11:24 pm ET

I can not simply differentiate between Obama, Hillary, McCain. Whatever happened to the real intelligent candidate of promise – "Ron Paul", I guess, we are not looking for substance, just entertainment in white house.

Texas Witch Twister   August 26th, 2008 11:23 pm ET

You think this is going to unite us. We are Hillary supporters alright. But we also no a no good scoundrel when we see one. Obama is raw meat he is such a crooked bum. No way will words change our minds. We Hillary supporters are not uniting.

Belle   August 26th, 2008 11:23 pm ET

Please Obama folks, explain just one more time why the Clintons are racists….

Even CNN did not know Stephanie Tubbs Jones' relatives were in the Clinton box.

I understand Senator Clinton looking to the future. I understand her supporting Senator Obama. I just have a hard time with Senator Obama's tactics. You could argue they worked. They did.

Thanks CNN for being the most biased news station. You did a great disservice to this nation.

Mohamed   August 26th, 2008 11:22 pm ET

The roof was on fire and Hillary hit a home run tonight. That was great speech. The fact of the matter is Democrats are united and no matter how hard Republicans try to divide the Democrats they will fail. Because Democrats are smarter than that, they now electing John is the worst thing they can do

Jay   August 26th, 2008 11:22 pm ET

She did well! She did well! I'm so glad that she did this! I'm proud of her! I'm an Obama supporter but she did well tonight!

aliou FL   August 26th, 2008 11:22 pm ET

I bet you my last hat: CNN will still keep the drama going to get some more ads money

Phoenix   August 26th, 2008 11:22 pm ET

Karen, yawn….get on board or don't complain for the next 8 years. I know McCain says 4, but I don't believe he'll step down.

IAdmireHillary   August 26th, 2008 11:22 pm ET

If Edwards had not ran…I really believe that Hillary WOULD be our democratic presidential candidate. Her speech tonight was nothing less than wonderful. Perfect. It touched on so many issues on what is going on in this country of ours and how we need to "get going". I hope this brings unity to the party, but I still, EVEN after hearing this speech, am having a hard time supporting Obama. I don't know if he has the experience and conviction to be there for this country. I hope I am wrong but let's see what Clinton and Obama have to say in the next 2 nights.

ash   August 26th, 2008 11:21 pm ET

Hillary is tough, Obama is a celebrity, don't we have enough celebrities already. Do we realize that we talk about presidents more than we talk about our grandma for instance. This starts 18 months before the term begins and lasts 6 months into the start of the term. That means we talk about presidential politics 50% of the time. Media is more than happy to oblige, what else would they be doing anyway, oooppppsssss.

Pearl, Colorado   August 26th, 2008 11:21 pm ET

How does this help NOBama

It shows he had bad judgement with Biden choice

It shows you can't blame Hillary for other people not wanting
Obama. She can't push the button and cast votes for NOBAMA.

I hope that fool finaly help her….pay her debt off (idiot).

You don't win without her constant support, no matter how small her support is.

CE   August 26th, 2008 11:20 pm ET

I respect Senator Clinton but I am sad to see her endorse a candidate who is not qualified to be the POTUS and is unlikely to win in November.

I am a Democrat who will vote for McCain because he is more qualified that Obama. I am disappointed that the Democratic Party did not let the democratic process run its course.

The Democratic Party believes there are only a few Democrats who will not support Obama but the numbers are growing and the stage is set for a Republican victory in November.

Michael   August 26th, 2008 11:20 pm ET

I am amazed at some people saying that this proves that she should be president and regardless of what she said you should vote for McCain so Hillary can win in 2012. Did you people even LISTEN to what she said? Apparently you only listen to your own selfish agendas of voting against the same exact person that Hillary is behind 100%- Barack Obama.

Benito   August 26th, 2008 11:20 pm ET

McCain 08… Dems are done..

Wake Up America!!!!   August 26th, 2008 11:20 pm ET

NO WAY — NO HOW — NO O-BLAH-BLAH-BLAH!!!!!

Sharon   August 26th, 2008 11:20 pm ET

What a wonderful and awesome speech. I tape it for my young granddaughters for them to watch in years to come. I will have stories to tell them just like my grandmother did me on her marching for the right to vote. The sad thing alot of it will be about the sexist treatment of Hillary.

ME IN FL   August 26th, 2008 11:20 pm ET

HIllary did an excellent job! Brilliant speech!! She brought the house down!! hope the DNC, Howard Dean & Pelosi saw that., this the the kind of President that we need!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOBAMA, could never had accomplished this, nor Biden!!! Seeing her poise, command and leadership makes it very hard to vote for Obama. Obama should have at least picked her as VP.

MO eat your heart out, you can never be as accomplished as HRC!! Your speech yesterday was lame compared to this one!!!! Clinton's do not need the Obamas!!! The Obamas do need the Clintons!!!!

Sorry DNC, will be writing down HRC's name on this election. This has reinforced my belief that she is the one fit to be leading our country and not the empty suit that you have imposed on us!!

HFS   August 26th, 2008 11:19 pm ET

She missed her chance to really advocate for Obama. She should have spoken more about him than her, She still is too full of herself! Obama has to win now for this country to get out of the dumper. We cannot wait! Voting for McCain is not betraying the Democratic Party. It is betraying our country's future!!!

MK LA   August 26th, 2008 11:19 pm ET

I worked so many hours for Hillary and I could not be more prouder of her than I am right now!!!!!!

Ronny Luxembourg citizen   August 26th, 2008 11:19 pm ET

I've been awake the past two nights (it's like 5 a.m. over here), I won't miss anything till November, cause there's so much at stake, for you, and for us too… after all these truly gruesome years, it's nice to have hope gain… like they said: instead of fear… and it's comforting to like America again… if you don't put it right this time, ya can't be helped… go Obama, go Biden, go Clinton, get the bloodhounds back in the cage !

karen   August 26th, 2008 11:19 pm ET

Good grief-what an inspiring speech by the person who SHOULD have been president. What a shame that it was taken away from her.

HM   August 26th, 2008 11:18 pm ET

Dem just missed their opportunity to elect their strongest and best candidate for this election. Too bad for them and too bad for Americans.

M in MN   August 26th, 2008 11:18 pm ET

"No way. No how. No McCain."

Hillary's words – word for word.

Please tell me there aren't any Hillary supporters out there who still think they're going to vote for McCain??

gary   August 26th, 2008 11:18 pm ET

FOR YOU YOUNG O.B. SUPPORTERS THAT KEEP HATING THE CLINTONS KISS MY —. THERE HASN'T BEEN A BETTER SPEECH. THATS A REAL LEADER AND GREAT SUPPORTER FOR DEM'S.

Ramesh Shrestha   August 26th, 2008 11:18 pm ET

Hey John McCain and crazy Repubs, did you see the Democratic spirit of unity tonight? This is what I call the 'American Dream in Making. She has totally taken air out of your sail tonight. You should stop all these crazy divisive ads right away.

ObamaBiden 08.

Katrina   August 26th, 2008 11:18 pm ET

Anybody who's still pretending to be a Hillary supporter for McCain on this blog — you've been exposed as the total frauds you are. Nobody who admires Hillary can diss Obama after this speech.

Go Girl!   August 26th, 2008 11:18 pm ET

And watch: McCain supporters will try to divide us by posing as Clinton or Obama supporters who bash each other. Don't read those posts as they can only divide and cause HATE.

Hillary is LOVE. She is awesome and she is clear: No way. No how. NO MCCAIN!!!

She is 200% for us Americans and doesn't want to see us suffer under a McCain presidency. She loves us way too much for us and doesn't want us to sacrifice 4 more years of hell under McCain and the Republicans.

I will honor Hillary and vote for Barack!

Krissy   August 26th, 2008 11:18 pm ET

If Hillary supporters are still voting for McCain or not voting at all?

You weren't listening. Get your heads out of the sand and WAKE UP.

Patty   August 26th, 2008 11:18 pm ET

We NEED Barack Obama! What an amazing speech Hillary gave! Wonderful!!!!

Choc   August 26th, 2008 11:18 pm ET

The "Queen Mother" of the Democratic Party picked up the needle and inserted the golden thread Michelle Obama provided last night and has sewn the Democratic Party together.
The glory of the Clinton/Gore years and the promise of the Obama/Biden years are now forever blessed by the knighting bestowned upon them tonight by "Her Magisty" Hillary Clinton.
"NO WAY! NO HOW! NO McCain!!!!!" "Keep Going"!!!

Omeili   August 26th, 2008 11:18 pm ET

She says it all, any of her supporter that still feels bad after this is not a real Democrat. it is good that she reminded them that they do not vote for Obama but for the issue at hand. That is making America a better place for all.

Kim, WI   August 26th, 2008 11:17 pm ET

Some of you have already been McCain supporters. You are just sabbotors, attempting to undermine the Democratic party! It will not work!

Demos, don't be fooled….UNITE!

ANN   August 26th, 2008 11:17 pm ET

Gr eat speech, but she left out "proud wife of former President Clinton" Everyone else was mentioned but him. HMMM?

Don't let the MSM do your thinking for you   August 26th, 2008 11:17 pm ET

Excellent speech Mrs. Clinton! There was no question of the sincerity. This just proves to me that the media is trying to pull a fast one in pushing the rift among democrats. Even Bill Clinton showed a true enthusiasm for the cause. Sorry republicans, we're not going to buy your crap anymore. But hey, maybe if you'll just get your act together and start thinking about the rest of the American people for a change, in 20 years or so we'll let you have another shot at it.

Reality   August 26th, 2008 11:17 pm ET

You forget one thing, the Obama backers and how rude they are to Hillary supporters… they won't vote for Obama, I'd bet on it.

Jim   August 26th, 2008 11:17 pm ET

At least Hillary remembered who said the following in front of a Republican group…

"Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly? Because her father is Janet Reno …"

NO WAY, NO HOW, NO MCCAIN

OBAMA/BIDEN '08-'12

Doug   August 26th, 2008 11:16 pm ET

I'm an Obama supporter. But if Hillary could have consistently delivered during the primaries like she did tonight, she would be the nominee.

She faced exceptionally high expectations but she hit a home run!

beth   August 26th, 2008 11:16 pm ET

Watching this speech just made me realize that the Democrats made such a big mistake..what a shame!!!

Sandy   August 26th, 2008 11:16 pm ET

Seems to me the only thing worse that pill-popping Rush Limbaugh is pill-stealing-popping Botox Barbie. Want a drug addict in the white house? Vote McWarmonger.

vli   August 26th, 2008 11:16 pm ET

Wow! Obama made a big mistake not putting her on the ticket. Her speech reinforced why she should be our nominee. It has made me more mad about our corrupt leaders manipulating the delegates to OBAMA… Not sure if I am writing her name in or voting for Mc Cain. Hillary just made me want to sacrafice another 4 years, to make a strong statement. She was robbed of the nomination and I will not support that.

Rob   August 26th, 2008 11:16 pm ET

If you supported Hillary Clinton and you vote for McCain you do nothing but offend Hillary PERIOD! You can't be reached. Period. Democrat's Unite its time!!!

McCain's the man   August 26th, 2008 11:16 pm ET

Hillary can shut her pie hole now! She did her job and lost to Obama! Now it's easy from here…Obama is nothing!

Welcome PUMA's, join the winning side!

McCain in 2008!

Amazing   August 26th, 2008 11:16 pm ET

Now I am convinced. After hearing Hillary's amazing speech, I am convinced more than EVER… to vote for.. McCain for President. Because I can't wait 8 years to get Hillary as my president. But I can wait 4 years, and that's what I'm going to do. I love Hillary too much! She is an amazing person, and I know in her heart, she said everything she had to say and needed to say and beyond that to help Barack Obama, but she only convinced me of what a wonderful person she is, and what a great president she will become.

McCain 08 – Hillary '12

Chanda-Cincinnati   August 26th, 2008 11:16 pm ET

Now THAT's the Hillary I use to know and love. Glad to see she is back!!!! If this Hillary had shown up in the primaries, she would have had my vote! People are so upset that she was not the VP coice, but I really do not believe she wanted the position. I truly believe she will have a prominent cabinet position offered to her, and I suspect she already knows what that position will be. I loved when she questioned her backers as to why they really were supporting her? It was one hell of a speech. I hope PUMA and the like take note. Thank you Hillary. I will be donating soon. NO WAY…NO HOW…NO MCCAIN!!!!!!!! CNN…Put that on a t-shirt and I'll buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!

OBAMA/BIDEN 08-16!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ms. RDS   August 26th, 2008 11:16 pm ET

You can't be real… you cannot have just watched your woman, your Hillary say what she just said.. and you still think…

you cannot be real… period!

Mark Smith   August 26th, 2008 11:15 pm ET

Ugh, it's rehashed media narratives like this that signal the end of traditional media, way to reaffirm your irrelevance than telling people what they want!

Melissa from Pittsburgh   August 26th, 2008 11:15 pm ET

Hillary was absolutly amazing. Watching her speak with such character and conviction makes me even more sad to know she will not be our parties nominee. However, if her job was to convice us that she is sincere about her support for Obama, it was a job well done.

Hello!!   August 26th, 2008 11:15 pm ET

Listen to Hillary ladies, no true democrat should vote McCain.

Dont vote for someone who doesnt stand for your rights!
– The right to choose
– Equal Pay
– Etc…

Obama/Biden 08

ClockWorkOrange   August 26th, 2008 11:15 pm ET

I just saw Hillary's speech. If Obama loses, his supporters can't blame Hillary. It's time to man up and take responsibility for their candidate's performance at this point. If he doesn't get a bump in the polls after the convention it's nobody's fault but Obama's (and the people who voted for him in the primary).

Sandy   August 26th, 2008 11:15 pm ET

I see Rush Limbaugh worshipers are out in full force tonight.

Christy   August 26th, 2008 11:14 pm ET

Bill, you are obviously in love with Hillary. The best part of the speach was her reference to Harriet Tubman. Otherwise, I am sick of hearing Hillary talk about hearing.

PUMA is DEAD!

LONG LIVE HILLARY CLINTON!

Douglas Vernet   August 26th, 2008 11:14 pm ET

Please take that annoying, meaningless "Sound on the Floor" gauge off the screen. Will be switching networks because of it even though I highly respect the CNN Political Team.

Abdirashid Ibrahim   August 26th, 2008 11:14 pm ET

No matter what, I was inspired by Hillarys speech. The whole world was intrigued by this election because that a woman and a black american were involved in this. America has shown that democracy works.

Marie in California   August 26th, 2008 11:14 pm ET

GREAT speech, Hillary……however…..

No how. No way. No Obama!

Obama-Biden 08

Great speech! Now there is president material. Too bad the DNC had to blow it by selecting Obama.

TX   August 26th, 2008 11:14 pm ET

Nice touching scene of young children floating off while Chelsey talks about every child having the opportunity to use their God given ability…too bad the Democrats so strongly support killing so many unborn children who never get that chance to USE THEIR GOD GIVEN ABILITY.

DEMS/LIBS – Stop supporting the murder of our fellow citizens in the womb, and I will most likely switch parties…but NOT until that greatest human right injustice is recognized and reversed. How a party can say THEY are the fighters for the weak while supporting that barbaric act…is absurd!!!

Grey Mare Riding   August 26th, 2008 11:14 pm ET

I was waiting to hear Hillary's speech and I think she did what the Dems need to move forward. All of you Hillary fans should be proud and follow her footsteps and support Barack Obama and Joe Biden in their quest to become the leaders of our country. Let's get the Republicans out of the White House and elect a Senate and Congress so that we all can work together and make the United States of America the most respected nation again.

I am an independent voter who decided early on to vote for McCain. After hearing Hillary's speech I realize that I have definitely made the right choice. McCain and Clinton both have much more experience and political influence than Obama. My vote is for McCain in 2008, so that I can vote for Clinton in 2012.

hillary, you knocked it out of the park!!!!!! love you,

zach   August 26th, 2008 11:13 pm ET

I thought she hit this one out of the park. I hope her die hard supporters can take something away from this. This is about the big picture. Your kids and grandkids. You may be "nervous" about Obama, but there is no reward without risk. And there is certainly no reward if you choose guaranteed suicide. 8 years is a lot of Bush that takes a ton of work to reverse the effects of. Now imagine 12 years of Bush. Don't let that happen. Hilary '16 yes. Hilary '12 – not even she can fix us at that point.

akaDoug   August 26th, 2008 11:13 pm ET

Thank you Hillary!

As a former Republician and a support of your in February…that was a great speech!

I am firmly behind Obama, because we need him! McCain is unable and unwilling to move this country in the right direction!

So thank you Hillary for everything you've given to the Democratic Party! You are a true Champion!!

PUMA-Darragh   August 26th, 2008 11:13 pm ET

Should have been her.

ree   August 26th, 2008 11:12 pm ET

Would Michelle Obama have given such a great speech if Sen. Clinton was the candidate. I think not.

All you people that said such hateful things about Sen. Clinton should be kissing her feet and so should Obama and the DNC. She is such a lady.

It won't be her fault if he losses but she will get the blame becauce Obama is never wrong. It is always someone else fault.

I am still not voting for Obama.

Ann   August 26th, 2008 11:12 pm ET

She hit it out of the park! Unity is the only way to eliminate 4 more years of the last 8 years. Way to go Hill!

Tom   August 26th, 2008 11:12 pm ET

I really liked this speech. She got right to the task of uniting the party and made the case crystal clear. It's either four more years of Bush/Cheney thanks to McSame, or it's four years of great opportunity to start fixing the mess and building a better future for ourselves and our children. Let's get together and get it done!

Democrats really screwed up. Hillary was the one. But she managed to give an inspiring speech for us to stick with the party. At least Michelle Obama could have smiled. She is so smug, heck, both of them are. I will vote democrat, only because Hillary convinced me. Not because I like Obama. And if he hadn't picked even Joe Biden, I would have written in her name. Biden will keep it together and Obama will get a crash course. This was a disgusting political year. Hillary was robbed and it was evident that most of the attendees of the convention thought so too!

CNN stop focusing on red meat. It is way too easy with the sitting Presidunce. Listen to what they are saying instead.

jason, tx   August 26th, 2008 11:09 pm ET

What a great speech. I was skeptical, but that was fantastic!

Go Sen. Clinton   August 26th, 2008 11:09 pm ET

What a GREAT Speech by Sen Clinton.

Anyone who says they are a Clinton supporter who's voting for McCain is a Flat out LIAR!!!!

I Love Sen Clinton and I'm voting for Sen Obama. Period!!!!!

Dan, TX   August 26th, 2008 11:09 pm ET

We love you HIllary!

Obama/Biden 08!

Nevada dude   August 26th, 2008 11:09 pm ET

HELLUVA SPEECH!!!! wow, if she had been on this level earlier she might have won the nomination.

shelly   August 26th, 2008 11:09 pm ET

She made me proud…Way to go Hillary…let's stand united!!!

Democrats Unite - Obama/ Biden 08!! Whoop whoop!!! :-)   August 26th, 2008 11:09 pm ET

YAYYYY HILLARY!! Great speech!!!

DEMOCRATS UNITE!!!… OBAMA/BIDEN 2008!!! :-D

Juan Carlos   August 26th, 2008 11:09 pm ET

It is her convention. Hillary '12

Ian Jacobs   August 26th, 2008 11:09 pm ET

Biggest thing she addressed was 'if you voted for me because I'm me, or if you voted for me because I stood up for… etc'. That needs to be pointed out because that's a direct comment to all the so-called Democrat's that are refusing to vote for Obama because she lost.

Kevin - Jonesboro, GA   August 26th, 2008 11:09 pm ET

Best speech I have ever heard from Hillary!!! Time for all Democrats to pull together and kick some butt!!!

Kescia   August 26th, 2008 11:09 pm ET

I have renewed respect for HRC, she did what needed to be done in excellent fashion!

roberto   August 26th, 2008 11:08 pm ET

greatest speech yet. it will be hard for obama to top that!

Astou   August 26th, 2008 11:08 pm ET

Now this is what I am talking about! Hillary's speech was uniting and great! This is the Hillary I know and Love!! Democrats let us Unite and elect Barack Obama for our President! No McCain, No Way, No How!!!!!!!!!!!!! Viva Democrats!

Wow   August 26th, 2008 11:08 pm ET

Hillary, kudos to you, you made history.

Brian   August 26th, 2008 11:08 pm ET

This is exactly why Hillary should be our next president!

Scott L   August 26th, 2008 11:08 pm ET

Hillary should have run Indie to screw the Dems over that screwed her over. Why she is bowing down I have no idea…how many houses does she own?

Dominique Taylor, VA   August 26th, 2008 11:07 pm ET

Hillary did it very well! She succeeded and I'm sure her followers heard her loud and clear…KEEP GOING, have faith in the democrats and have faith in OBAMA!!!! I love her!!!

Robert in Greensboro   August 26th, 2008 11:07 pm ET

I'm not sure the speech is all that important. You have diehard Democrats and you have diehard Republicans. They shouldn't be the target audience in a race that's so close. The country has been polarized for a while now, giving Independents like myself some real power. "Red meat" speeches and slogans don't impress me. I'm looking for a lot more substance, all lot more detail, records, and results. The party "extremists" can unfailingly rally around their party candidates all they want. That's not going to influence the button I press on that touchscreen voting machine.

texas voter   August 26th, 2008 11:07 pm ET

Hillary is kicking some serious Republican behind!!!!!!!!

Wow   August 26th, 2008 11:07 pm ET

She could have done it, she really could have done it. Guess we'll have to wait 4 more years to see it happen though. Barack just doesn't have what she has with what she has to back it up with. She's good, but he's the one up for the vote, not her. The Dems really messed up this time.

Marc PDX   August 26th, 2008 11:06 pm ET

This was Hillary's own speech – not Obama's. She spent far more time talking about her positions on the issues than she did about Barack. And rightly so. She ran for president herself and only barely lost to Obama. Her night.

Kojo   August 26th, 2008 11:06 pm ET

This is just brilliant ! What a speech. I hope people will appreciate the sincerity of the Clintons now. I am just loving this.

Eric De La Torre   August 26th, 2008 11:06 pm ET

Not the slogan I will be chanting to. No way, no how, no Obama!

chilliej   August 26th, 2008 11:06 pm ET

Hillary, you are terrific. You should be the nominee. Hillary 2012!

John M.   August 26th, 2008 11:06 pm ET

If John McCain offered Hillary the vice presidency, she would take it in a heartbeat, with Bill fully supporting her. The Clintons are dedicated to themselves. The Democratic Party is only a vehicle to that end.

TXus Steve   August 26th, 2008 11:05 pm ET

I don't care…the best chance Hillary has to be President is to go against McCain in 4 years vs take over from Obama in 8. She will be too old in 8 years, but not in 4…McCain must win now if Hillary has ANY chance to be Prez!!!

California Gold   August 26th, 2008 11:05 pm ET

She can dish out the digs on McCain like I've never seen before. Solid hits delivered expertly with a smile and a twinkle in her eye. It's great! She is a wonderful speaker.

Frank A   August 26th, 2008 11:05 pm ET

Go Hillary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay Hillary!   August 26th, 2008 11:05 pm ET

This party will UNITE!!

Hillary brought it home like NO ONE else could!

I love Hillary! I will be a soldier for Hillary and vote AGAINST McCain.

(I loved the 'twin cities' joke. awesome!!!!!)

gurarro   August 26th, 2008 11:05 pm ET

The Clintons love the Clintons. Hillary is doing a good job of pumping up Obama, but she is still sounds like she is still campaigning for herself. In some instances, she sounds like she is still out there stumping for herself. She really needs to realize that she lost. Notice Bill's smile and cheering when she mentioned how good the economy was during his term, but he immediately sat down when she said the Obama could bring the country back to Clinton's days. He is gonna have a stroke !!!

Sandy   August 26th, 2008 11:05 pm ET

Shut up Schneider – like I told Gergen, if we want red meat, we can go to our wealthy republican neighbors and beg for hamburger.

On Hillary:

If Obama wins, she'll definitely have a big role in the future of this country (without Bill and his Cigars – he he he he).

If McWarmonger wins, she'll be the republican joke of the century for all the free ads.

We each get only one precious vote. Don't waste it.

Obama/Biden '08/'12

McCain #1   August 26th, 2008 11:04 pm ET

Hillary stated that she was a proud mother, but I didn't hear her say she was a proud wife. If Bill did not cheat on her, there would have never been a Senator Clinton. It is depressing that all it takes to get elected is to have a spouse cheat on you. I've so glad she wont be President.

D&D   August 26th, 2008 11:04 pm ET

I'm watching her speech, and I think she's doing great, super…and if her supporters did not listen to her and vote for Obama, then the problem is more personnal then anything else.

Linda31   August 26th, 2008 11:04 pm ET

Hillary is killing it!!!!!! Go Hillary! Beautiful speech!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SoundsStupid2Me   August 26th, 2008 11:03 pm ET

BEAUTIFUL JOB…BEAUTIFUL JOB….BEAUTIFUL JOB…BEAUTIFUL JOB.
As my students would say, Gone girl.

jean   August 26th, 2008 11:03 pm ET

Go Hillary!!!!!! Way to go……..

We love you-

Reena   August 26th, 2008 11:03 pm ET

Clinton is killin' em!!! Glad she's on board – best speech of this convention to date and I love me some Michelle Obama!!!

No Way Obama   August 26th, 2008 11:03 pm ET

Any Democrat can proudly vote for McCain, its not shameful to endorse a perosn of integrity.

Clinton, no, wait, McCain Supporter   August 26th, 2008 11:03 pm ET

Wow. I can certainly see why the DNC thought Barack Obama was such swell guy, while Hillary's resume is so thin………

Too bad Barack Obama is so full of himself and so intimidated by Hillary that he's downright afraid of her. If I were Obama, I would be, too!

dncwatcher   August 26th, 2008 11:03 pm ET

CNN's Sound from the Floor meter is broken. It is so off from the crowd's reaction – totally fake.

Kevin,FL   August 26th, 2008 11:03 pm ET

This is why she should have been the nominee for President

Nikole-Independent Thinker   August 26th, 2008 11:01 pm ET

Hillary's speech was awesome!

Obama/Biden 08

Delictum   August 26th, 2008 11:01 pm ET

This speech just proves why Hillary should have been the nominee.

TheLeftNut   August 26th, 2008 11:01 pm ET

IF Obama looses Hillary will NEVER be President because she'll get all the blame.

GUARANTEED!

Alex E.   August 26th, 2008 11:00 pm ET

YES WE CAN! YES WE CAN! Hillary supports get on board get on board get on board now if you dont want McSame for 4yrs.

Matt B   August 26th, 2008 11:00 pm ET

The democrats need to act like they have nothing to lose. Borrow a line from the Clinton Era…IT'S THE ECONOMY (AGAIN) STUPID !

Karen   August 26th, 2008 10:59 pm ET

I'm impressed. I didn't support Clinton, but her speech is excellent. Good for her!

Jamie from San Francisco   August 26th, 2008 10:59 pm ET

Great job Bill Schneider!
