Bob Casey was good by Dennis Kucinich was GREAT! Wake up America! He totally skewered Bush/McCain. I agree, CSpan is the best coverage-you miss everything if you watch CNN except for the rumor mill.

Lets put it this way. MY Union told us they were not going to support McCain due to NAFTA, HOWEVER they said they were not going to tell us to back Pope Obama The First, He who walks on water.. Most of the die hard union will vote for Obama,as they wil back any Dumorat, no mater what they run for..however I am hearing many of them saying they will vote 3rd party or not at all...OK for me. I am a Union member voting for McCain.. I don't want some one with less eperience then me as Pres..

Put it this way..

McCain-26 Years in Congress-Senate-Military Service 22 years..

Obama-3 and a half years in the US Senate-ZERO Military service.

NOW WHO DO YOU WANT sitting in the WHite House??

Please be more thoughtful to us viewers who want to watch the speeches. John King's map is nice, and all the comments are fine...but please let us see and hear the more of the convention instead of just hearing you tell us about it, and what YOU think of it. I feel like you are the story instead of the DNC.

I don't think Bob Casey's ever had such a good speech. He's a good guy but really sort of a schmuck. I'll vote for him over Santorum any day though, for sure! Plenty of good speeches tonight -- I crack up when people ask what the SUBSTANCE is behind Obama's words. There's substance but people don't have the attention spans for anything longer than 10 seconds.

How Could You?

For those of you who are easily distracted by divisive politics and verbal gaffs and somehow think that this irrelevant minutia actually will help you and your family – let me ask you simply – How Could You?

As a woman, how could you vote for a man (McCain) who voted in 2008 against the right for women to receive equal pay for equal work.

As a woman, how could you vote for a man who in 2007 voted against extending health care to 10 million children in the CHIP program.

As a veteran, how could you vote for a fellow soldier who was against the 2008 GI bill calling it pork barrel spending.

As a veteran, how could you vote for a fellow soldier who voted against the Health Care for Veterans bill, AND the Tax Extension Bill for veterans.

As a veteran, how could you vote for a fellow soldier who in 2007 voted against the bill entitled Expressing Support for the Women and Men of the Armed Forces bill.

As minority, or any decent citizen for that matter, how could you vote for a man who voted against the Employment Discrimination Act (2006) (I guess he thinks it’s ok to discriminate against others) and the District of Columbia Voting Rights Act. For Christ’s sake he voted against having a Martin Luther King Holiday.

How could you abandon the things you really believe in and be distracted by trash politics that are part of an overtly coordinated divide and conquer strategy. Don’t be fooled! Check it out for yourself http://www.votesmart.org

This has been horrible so far. Those who can speak sound corny and contrived (Ms. Obama). Those who can't speak (Ledbetter, Casey Jr., everyone only shown on C-Span) were basically dead on arrival. There's always hope the Clintons, Mr. Obama, and Biden will turn this thing up a notch. Big disappointment so far though.

Ryan, that was true 8 years ago. This is not the same McCain that I supported in 2000. He is no longer a maverick at all. You are blind to call a guy that marches in lock step with the GOP 95% of time a maverick.
