during the primaries, they are truly trying to make it right.

Get over it! Comments like this belong in the tabloids, not the "most respected news team........" Quit fanning the flames of disunity and start reporting the news, rather than the gossip. Take a cue from the legacy of Walter Cronkite – he was the most respected man in journalism because he earned it. The Clintons love this country. The question should be just why do the elite of the DNC think they are right this time? Bill Clinton was their ONLY success in decades. Look at the last three elections. Democrats have lost due to their poor judgement of nominee. This year is no different. When November comes and you have to pull the lever I guarantee it will not be the majority for Obama. Frankly I am sick of the skewed process the DNC is continuing to us to deny each and every American their right to vote for who they think is the best candidate.

I would hope Clinton, as a former President, would recognize good policy when he sees it, even if it is only in the form of golf-clap applause for a half-hearted plan that will only enrich the oil companies' hand in a dying (and drying) industry.

That's his prerogative and I appreciate it, just like I appreciate his informed opinion that Obama is ready to lead this country and is a far, far better choice than yet one more four-year repeat of the last eight years of failed policies and diminished standing in the eyes of the world at large.
