Will.i.am to perform at Invesco

The 'Yes We Can' YouTube video will be recreated.
The 'Yes We Can' YouTube video will be recreated.

DENVER (CNN) – The Emmy-winning “Yes We Can” video that spliced together clips of Barack Obama’s New Hampshire primary night speech and set it to music, will be re-created live on stage at Invesco Field in Denver Thursday night before the Illinois senator accepts the Democratic presidential nomination there.

The video, which appeared shortly before Super Tuesday, became an Internet sensation. It was adopted by the Obama campaign, and used often on the trail.

Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am — who produced the celebrity-packed video — will perform Thursday evening, backed by singer John Legend and a full gospel choir.

Singers Sheryl Crow and Stevie Wonder will also take the stage for the final night of the Democratic convention.

UPDATE: Jennifer Hudson will perform the national anthem Thursday night at Obama's acceptance speech.

    Hillary/Warner 2012!

Only a Clinton can defeat an incumbent Republican president!
We'll need her to defeat McCain in four years.
    Obama will not win.
    He's unelectable.
    Said so Since
    Day one!

Hey I have an idea for you...instead of being a negative hater, why not focus on the positive...whats better, hating on "post-menopausal bickering women that don't have their heads on straight" or trying to be positive about all the good things Obama can potentiall offer. You are as bad as those you say you stand. I am not a Hillary fan by an strech, but are you saying that 18 million people don't count and that anyone who doesn't agree with Obama is racist?? If that is the case than I guess I'm one because I don't trust a man who votes for a program instituted by Dick Cheney (FISA).

The biggest mistake being made by
    1. MSM
    2. Pollsters
    3. The Republicans
    4. People who pay attention to polls in AUGUST
is to underestimate and discount the number of young american voters.
They are not being polled, they don't read CNN, MSNB or any other MSM blogs BUT they will probably never forget how no one took them seriously enough to think that they matter.
They are the future "Swing Voters" of this country.
You are all foolish to ignore them.

Come on people...this is just music. There's nothing wrong with entertaining the crowd between speakers. As for the comment about rap music for four years...just plain ignorant!

It will be a great night for all Democrats!

"No way, no how, no chance, no" Obama!

No to the narcissistic Barack! :(

This former democrat will vote for John McCain 08! He is a strong, honest man of integrity and authenticity who, like Hillary Clinton, is in touch with mainstream America! :)

As long as Paris and Brittney aren't there I guess it's OK. They will take heat for it, but this will be one HUGE AMERICAN PARTY that no American would want to miss. Stevie could get 75K by himself. This will be a call to action for America and the question is will we respond?

I am reading some of these comments and i can not understand a lot of peoples thought processes.

Obama is empy, or Obama just likes publicity or Obama will mess up America.

All im saying where is the evidence to support these claims, everyone likes to make judgements off of emotion with no evidence to support the claim. This type of thinking got us 8 years of Bush and what do we have to show for it, record debt, a useless war that just diverts the attention spans of simple minds.

Oh and my favorite is The republicans are strong on terror than the democrats and we are safer under republicans.

Well if i remember correctly 9/11 happened on bush's watch
