The 'Yes We Can' YouTube video will be recreated.

DENVER (CNN) – The Emmy-winning “Yes We Can” video that spliced together clips of Barack Obama’s New Hampshire primary night speech and set it to music, will be re-created live on stage at Invesco Field in Denver Thursday night before the Illinois senator accepts the Democratic presidential nomination there.

The video, which appeared shortly before Super Tuesday, became an Internet sensation. It was adopted by the Obama campaign, and used often on the trail.

Black Eyed Peas frontman — who produced the celebrity-packed video — will perform Thursday evening, backed by singer John Legend and a full gospel choir.

Singers Sheryl Crow and Stevie Wonder will also take the stage for the final night of the Democratic convention.

UPDATE: Jennifer Hudson will perform the national anthem Thursday night at Obama's acceptance speech.

Well how nice the rock star is using his rock star friends... I suppose Oprah will be there too...

Meanwhile I just had to put $3.00 of gas in my car in change to get my daughter home from school. I see gas prices are coming down for several days in a row.. thank you Mr. Bush, even though Obama refuses to agree drilling AND new technology is the way to go

This Obama guy is not ready to lead; he literally makes me sick. He nauseates me I can not fathom why people are behind him…. Not for a second.

I will be delighted to see Obama elected president AFTER he has served two terms as HILLARY'S VP. He is not able to EARN THE TRUST OF VOTERS. THE SUPER DELEGATES NEED TO DO THEIR JOB AND DRAFT A HILLARY/OBAMA TICKET FOR '08. Otherwise, we are doomed to another 4 years of republican degradation of our ECONOMY, THE COURTS, INTERNATIONAL STANDING, ENVIRONMENT, WOMEN'S RIGHTS....

In the end he will lose because all of you people deluding yourself in cyberspace, busy typing away blog, blog, blog, text , text, text, porn, porn, porn will not actually get out of your mother's basements and walk out into the light of the real world blinking away long enough to actually stand in line in the real world and vote because its too scary in the real world where you are reminded of how much of a failure you and all of your generation "Y (bother)" are. Its OK, just keep texting away. Pathetic! No wonder we are is such trouble. No one makes or does anything for real anymore, its all virtual. Go ahead and hide behind your computers. You will all be very disappointed on election day. But the good news is you can make believe Obama – nation won in cyberspace and he can be your virtual president forever! No term limits in second life.

Just what we need ... a guy in the oval Office who thinks he's a rock star. Enjoy your 15 months of fame Barrack, until you fade into a historical footnote as the first black coulda been, shoulda been, but wasn't quite ... President.

All show, no substance. Oh yes, there was that speech in the Illinois state senate in 2002. The Obama rocket is burning the last of its fuel and is on its way back down to Earth.

The Democrats blew it. Hillary would have stomped McCain. Obama ... sending a boy to do a man's (or a woman's) job.

Are the Repuglicans (they earned that label to me when they started attacking Obama's innocent children) trying so hard to make Obama out to be a celebrity because racist USAers will accept a black celbrity?????
To them it is okay for blacks to entertain them but not to lead them. Blacks could entertain at the Cotton Club in New York but they had to come in throught the back door and could not be part of the audience.

Why the complaints? Rock stars and celebrities are citizens too and they too will exercise their franchise come November. If they want to perform at the convention so be it. You are just JEALOUS because the prospects of anyone worth their salt appearing at your convention look very slim.

    Look above me.

    All the hate? Republicans.

All the love and goodwill? Democrats.

Ask yourself why that is always the case?

Don't let the old white guys scare you into voting for someone you have nothing in common with.

To the Republicans/ McCain supporters who say Obama is a celebrity driven politician, lets remember that everyone's favorite President, Ronald Reagan was an actor (he was also a Democrat until he hooked up with his 2nd wife, Nancy Davis). And what about the CA governator, Arnold??
Maybe the Republicans can have the singing Senators perform at their convention next month or maybe Cindy McCain can sing some patriotic songs to the audience.

Some of you people need to get a life. There is always entertainment at the convention. Just because they've brought in young hip entertainers and not the band from the Lawrence Welk show doesn't mean Obama isn't worthy. It is a new generation. Were you all complaining years ago when Bill Clinton was on MTV playing his sax. You people will look for anything to pick at. I never truly realized how silly the American public can be.

For the record I am a 50 year old white woman and I like John Legend, and the black eyed peas – I have them all on my Ipod.

The other day (I think yesterday) there was a title that said Hip-Hop Republicans. I'm not sure if anyone watched the iReport but it was pretty awful. Some republicans coined the buzz word "Hip-Hop Republican" into a term basically meaning minorities that are trying to bridge that gap within republicans and get the word out, etc. However it had nothing to do with Hip-Hop. I officially deem this 'Hip-Hop Democrats". I don't support a certain party, but I don't like approve of false buzz words.
