Will.i.am to perform at Invesco

The 'Yes We Can' YouTube video will be recreated.
The 'Yes We Can' YouTube video will be recreated.

DENVER (CNN) – The Emmy-winning “Yes We Can” video that spliced together clips of Barack Obama’s New Hampshire primary night speech and set it to music, will be re-created live on stage at Invesco Field in Denver Thursday night before the Illinois senator accepts the Democratic presidential nomination there.

The video, which appeared shortly before Super Tuesday, became an Internet sensation. It was adopted by the Obama campaign, and used often on the trail.

Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am — who produced the celebrity-packed video — will perform Thursday evening, backed by singer John Legend and a full gospel choir.

Singers Sheryl Crow and Stevie Wonder will also take the stage for the final night of the Democratic convention.

UPDATE: Jennifer Hudson will perform the national anthem Thursday night at Obama's acceptance speech.

I hope Barry H Obama's friends like Rezco can get out of jail to see the "show", maybe Obambi can mortgage his cheap as hell loan that he got from him to get him out.

Maybe Jerry Wright can do the opening prayer?

William Ayers and the Ward Churchill types can have their little booths on how to blow up American installations and then be part and parcel to HOSTING Barry H Obama's first political party.

Emil Jones can be the greeter and call all black female, Clinton delegates "Uncle Tom's".

What's that you say, you only know of Jerry Wright and whom are these other people that you speak of??? Exactly sheep. Bahhhhh.

Check the polls people, we the non-sheep are paying attention.

    No way, No how, NOBAMA.

That old former playboy John McSame has not a clue about the problems americans are facing, he could care less.

Obama proved to the worl that he ist more suitable to be commander and chief of this nation, MacSame with his baseball cap on his head
looks lost. He needs Lieberman on his side to whisper to him what to say.
How can a man like that lead any nation, not even a kindergarden
    would take him seriously.
Obama will bring real changes, who wants another 4 years of the same.
    GO Obama/Biden and show them.

I agree with the poster above me. If Hillary supporters think they can screw Obama out of this election and get her elected in '12 then they have lost their minds. The majortity of African American voters are dems and will NOT vote Hillary in '12 if they screw us out of quite possibly the best president in history. There's a reason this man is both black and white, and there is a reason he is preaching hope and unity. Don't let your pretty political squabbles turn you into Judas'. The last thing we need is another rich closed-minded out-of-touch cowboy as the president. Can you say depression II?

I am reading the comments of the people who post on the CNN political ticker. I see those who hate Obama and those who are for Obama. It pleases me to the umpteenth degree to know that the people who are for change, the people who are for progress, the people who support Barack Obama and the Democratic party VASTLY outnumber the people who don't.
If you look at the whole thing you can tell that the people who are against Obama are fighting a losing battle. This is a battle that they CONNOT WIN! WILL NOT WIN. In November a change will come for the better. We are going to win because we have more people who believe. We are unified. WE ARE
FIRED UP AND READY TO GO!!!

That's cool of Will.i.am-this is about the future, about everyday Americans who are suffering because of perpetual war and its human and economic cost. We cannot afford anyone other than Barack.

As opposed to a shriveled, addled has-been whose only claim to fame was to have been shot down in East Asia in between flunking out of the Naval Academy and doing shots of whiskey off the stomaches of the mistress of the week. Please go ahead and vote for McCain. After he repeals women's rights to vote, we won't ever have to hear a peep out of the likes of you.

The whole PUMA movement is just STUPID. Remember, you reap what you sew. The whole idea is to unite the party not to continue to cause division. As the saying goes, "United we stand, divided we fall." This is the exact reason why I remain independent because it is the issues that matter the most; what the candidate stands for, his/her platform and positions. True Hillary supporters would know that Senator Obama, and Senator Clinton agree on 95% of the issues. One thing that I can truly say about the Republican Party is that for the most part they are loyal to their nominee (because of platforms) not because their "guy/gal" lost fair and square in the primaries. If a dog was their nominee, they would rally behind the dog with bumper sticker and all– RinTinTin 2010! I have a sneaky suspicion that if Obama loses to Senator Mc Cain (GOD FORBID) in November that Hillary's chances in 2012 would not be great because the party will be more divided than ever! Be careful what you do...Doing things out of spite and malice only comes back to haunt you in the end.

We will take our country back – we will end the war mongering – the fear mongering – the hate mongering – the race baiting – and the bitterness heaped on us from the past 8 years of the Bush/Cheney Republican administration.

Why was John Edwards, who had one known affair, replaced with Clinton, who had many known affairs? I didn't think anyone cared. It appears as a motivational speech contest instead of a policy event.
We must be the laughing stock of the world. A serious event with non-serious people. Amazing.
