Hear so much about inexperience" For symbolic reason how a bout putting a man in the office who never did a days work in his intire life' ;now that a well experience person. ; we as a people need to look at who have work while on the job and one never stayed on the job.

Orlando   August 28th, 2008 3:15 pm ET

Well McKeating 5 is about to pick his housing buddy. Is it going to be the Joe Correct-O The Gaffe Eraser?

Drum roll please No. It McJob Killer Romney.

Disappointed Texas Democrat   August 28th, 2008 3:08 pm ET

Barack Obama had my vote until he chose to punish Hillary Clinton by not placing her in the VP office.

Mat   August 28th, 2008 3:05 pm ET

What is all this crap about Obama not having any experance, more so why is there no attention on the BAD judgement and decisions made by the Bush administration over the past 8 years to which McCain voted with them 90% of the time.

All this properganda of McCain reaching over to Dems is rubbish – he's against equal pay for Woman, he's all about the war, he said himself he doesn't really understand the economey and that he also said that we're in a good place financially.

Why, Why, Why do you want to vote for John McCain. What actual policy's of his are you voting for? Or are you voting for him because you're scared of the 'black' man, the 'muslim' which he isn't – however this Republican fear machine that all muslims are evil is complete crap. If that's why you're voting McCain then you're stuck in the 40's and you're voting with your fears, so sad.

Barack Obama lost my Democratic vote when he decided to punish Hillary Clinton by not choosing her as the VP, I will not vote for the Democrat Party in this election.

What are Barack Obama’s accomplishments, and how does his accomplishments compare to Hillary Clinton’s?

If we are truly at a time in history of being a COLORED BLIND NATION then why do the Media and other people keep saying he is the first African American to be nominated, first off he is not full-blooded African American. His heritage is both African and Caucasian. Stating that he is African American is offensive to all of Caucasian America. Is he ashamed of his Caucasian heritage?

I am offended that Barack Obama only talks about his African American heritage; to me he is ashamed of his Caucasian heritage because we never hear him talk about his mother or his Caucasian heritage. Also, he does not talk about his brother that is living in poverty in Kenya, Africa. If he is such a strong African American man why has he turned his back on his own brother?

He has yet to give a convincing answer to the simple question: When does life begin? He stated that it was above his pay grade to answer that question. What is his true religious belief? What church is he register as a member?

WHY CANT WE GET STRAIGHT ANSWERS FROM HIM?

Susan   August 28th, 2008 2:56 pm ET

Let's see, one of Obama's supporters goes to Canada and tells them don't pay attention to what you hear on the news, it won't be true (and admits it). Now, Obama goes overseas and all of a sudden Russia invades Georgia. Well, it was not from McCain's camp because they know he will not take any BS from them. It is a know fact, that they are not afraid of the Democrats so I wonder who they want in office. People they can push around or people who they can't?

Thmpr   August 28th, 2008 2:55 pm ET

I myself am still very unsure on how I will vote come November. I am typically a Republican, however McCain scares me more than Obama....this is one situation where I feel lesser experience can serve us better than the experience John McCain brings to the table.

Hey Johnny Boy....How about running ads letting America know what your plan is? You do have a plan, don't you?

kayla   August 28th, 2008 2:52 pm ET

mcsame, was the repugblicans nominee three months before sen. Obama, and yet he has not picked his v.p. , maybe it's because he cannot find anybody. since he was their best and mcsame is the worlds worst.

minnie   August 28th, 2008 2:52 pm ET

Look at his hands ,, legs of birds...ouch

AGANA AFAM   August 28th, 2008 2:41 pm ET

It's obvious that the only time MacCain gets attention is when he says something nasty about Obama.
He appears to me as a man who has ran out of ideas and out of touch with the real issues the US is ccrrently facing.
MacCain is just wasting his time and energy fighting against an idea and change sweeping through America.
This is the time and YES,WE CAN!

J   August 28th, 2008 2:41 pm ET

If McCain is elected president, we'll all have to remind him of his job title because the idiot forgets everything else.

Daddy Mack   August 28th, 2008 2:27 pm ET

Like Bush said "BRING THEM ON!

Bob   August 28th, 2008 2:23 pm ET

Historical night for America. We have come a long way, still some miles to trudge. I am glad to see this night finally here. However, I will not vote for the socialist agenda. I will not vote for an unproven commodity. I will not vote for dirty Chicago politics. This is one democrat sitting out this year. !st time in 34 years I won't be voting democratic. How come voting against Obama is racist but blacks voting for Obama because he is black isnt racist? mmmmmmmm I guess we still got a ways to go.

Les   August 28th, 2008 2:00 pm ET

All that McCain needs to do is to keep running ads sowing clips of what Hillary and Bill said about Obama in the primary campaigns.

Farrell, Houston, Tx   August 28th, 2008 1:57 pm ET

I'd like to ask McCain a question: If you don't know how many houses you own and you admitted you don't know any thing about economics but stated the economy is doing fine; what do you know and please please don't give me that POW story again.

bridgette   August 28th, 2008 1:51 pm ET

I think for a leader of a nation to come out with accusations such as that he would had better come with some facts. Whether you are going to vote for Obama or McCain that is some serious accusations and shouldn't be said without some kind of proof. Now I do find it strange that Georgia's president told McCain to put up or shut up. But I need more proof. And if this is true then they have to be arrested. Not impeached but arrested.

Jade   August 28th, 2008 1:40 pm ET

I also believe if Mccain picks Huckabee or Romney he would be ok.

Jade   August 28th, 2008 1:39 pm ET

I watched Joe Biden speak last night and everything that came out of that man's mouth was a lie!!!! Obama voted against the surge to be sent to Iraq and now Iraq will be handed over to the Iraqis in close to 6 to 8 months. Obama said "16 months". After he came back from his vacation in Europe all of a sudden Russia attacks Georgia.
Also, let's not forget that Hillary said "Obama is not ready to be President." Don't forget when her husband was president he cheated on her with "that other woman", lied about it and then retracted his words and now says he did have an affair. How can you people listen to all these so called "politicians", who have no morals whatsoever? Everything that comes out of your mouths are lies. All you do is whine and cry and complain. You are not the only folks who suffer. Millions of people are suffering world wide and all you care about is whether or not an African American will become president? My vote is with John Mccain. You can't use his age against him anymore because even Joe Biden is old. So who are the dirty liars now?

alvino   August 28th, 2008 1:33 pm ET

McCain's VP pick should be Guiliani. They could work together on an amendment to to the Constitution to make divorce the basis of family values.

RLN   August 28th, 2008 1:29 pm ET

I know it is going to be difficult for many democrats to want to vote for McCain this November. Trust me...if I really felt I had a choice in the matter I wouldn't even consider voting for McCain. However my choices are between someone with ample experience and someone with very little to no experience. Take a moment to think about this.

The economy sux, the war is out of control, the world hates us, our government has failed to protect our citizens from terrorists and natural disasters. This all falls under George W. Bush who is a Republican, so it is natural for us all to say....well NO MORE REPUBLICANS.....well let's not forget one other important attribute about Bush before he took over, he was INEXPERIENCED ( not to mention just plain stupid). I know for many of you it will be easier to blame him for the messes we are in by being a Republican. However I implore you to consider the lack of experience he had before becoming President as the possible cause for the failures and problems our country now faces. After looking at the information below ( Executive Summary - sent to me by a friend who is also a Democrat ) it kind of lines Obama & Bush up as the same type of potential leader.

Ask yourself, would you let someone come into your company as the mail-room boy and then less than 5 months later become CEO? If you wouldn't do that for your company then why would you do it for something far greater and important to your life? YOUR COUNTRY!!!

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY...

I know that some of you don't like to read long drawn out so here's the executive summary.........

Senate Military

John McCain 26 Years 22 Years

Barrack Obama 143 days 0

I can not make the same mistake the Republicans made 8 years ago, put an inexperienced over ambitious man in charge of this country, especially with the dangerous mess we are in right now. I will, with much regret, have to vote for McCain! I know many of you will say but his political philosophy does not match yours. I would much rather give up my philosophy than to allow another 4 years of wreckless inexperienced leadership of this country. Sometimes American's have to put their country above their political philosophy. This is what I am doing.

Tim   August 28th, 2008 1:29 pm ET

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has accused the United States of orchestrating the conflict in Georgia to benefit one of the presidential election candidates. Wonder who he is talking about? Bush and McCain, that’s who!!! Why else would the White House ask McCain, who is not (and will never be) the President to but out of a dangerous conflict in which he spoke before the sitting President?

Michael   August 28th, 2008 1:26 pm ET

The only people stupid enough to belive what Putin said about the US orchestrating the war are Democrats. Republicans will see it for the lie that it is. Net effect on the electon – zero.

Blu   August 28th, 2008 1:25 pm ET

I look forward to November 5, 2008. That will be the day all the Obamabots will be boohooing in the streets screaming the country is a racist country. I will laugh!!

enough said   August 28th, 2008 1:16 pm ET

what a surprise ... he'll accept at a rap concert.

Amy   August 28th, 2008 1:14 pm ET

Well, that is McCain's choice to attack Obama at this very night, in the future US history book, our new generation will learn how America, this great country, has crossed the big mile stone, at same time, how McCain painted this history moment to a gray, nasty color.

Tony   August 28th, 2008 1:11 pm ET

Putin: U.S. orchestrated Georgian war

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has accused the United States of orchestrating the conflict in Georgia to benefit one of the presidential election candidates. In an exclusive interview with CNN's Matthew Chance, Putin said the U.S. had encouraged Georgia to attack the autonomous region of South Ossetia.

Not that I would believe what Putin says, but knowing Bush, this wouldn't surprise me at all.)

Franky   August 28th, 2008 1:07 pm ET

"GOP needed victory, Putin alleges"

Now that's some serious stuff right there...
