Based on the Republican Vice presidential Pick, I believe it is obvious to the entire world that John McCain is just a plain old politician with no thought out strategy, but will obviously do whatever it takes to win the White House. This election is not just about winning but about the lives of everyday Americans.

What a sad attempt to attract Hillary's supporters. The only problem is, once they all find out she is Pro-Life, they will run back to Obama so fast McCain won't know what hit him. I think he just picked her because he didn't want to ruin a truly promising political career!

But in her limited time in office she has been a successful agent for change and reform. And, she'll be #2 on the ticket, so it isn't necessary for her to have as much experience as the presidential nominee. Democrats have nominated a man with no track record of success, no track record of taking the initiative on any bipartisan issues, and very little track record at all due to his lack of real governing experience - and they put him at the TOP of their ticket. Gov. Palin's potential VP nod does not erase the accurate criticism that Sen. Obama isn't ready to lead as a PRESIDENTIAL nominee should be.

Sarah Palin) to fly in front of those women who are upset with the Democratic party? He plays on people anger, intelligence, and the cause that is true to their hearts. He and that smile say it all….we will trick them now, go tell her she will be used by the GOP, we really don’t want her, but we need bait. I kinda hope he does pick her. McCain will be expecting to get some ex Hillary supporters. This woman is so opposed to abortion and gay marriage that you'll see Hillary herself come out and attack Palin.

I think this would be a good pick for McCain. We need a woman to be commander-in-chief if anything happens to McCain. I know she would have a lot of experience dealing with sensitive international issues, and would be taken seriously by both our friends and enemies.

I think this is just like the Chet Edwards thing – throw an unusual name into the mix at the last minute and create some hype.

I certainly hope so, because a woman on the Republican ticket could hurt the dems.
