McCain communications team sent to Alaska

(CNN) - A senior adviser to John McCain's campaign confirms that they have dispatched a team of 12 people to presumptive VP nominee Sarah Palin's home state of Alaska.

The adviser insists the group is a communications "jump" team that would have gone to any nominee's hometown, and denies reports that the team is now going to further vet Palin.

If he had vetted with the head on his shoulders, instead of the head below he would'nt be in this position.

News teams need to go with McCain's camp to validate any truthful information: taking millions in earmarks, almost recalled as mayor, leaving her town in $20 million debt, firing her staff when they did not support her mayoral bid, troopergate controversy, and family value issues (husband's DUI and mother of the baby). I feel that Gov. Palin is just another political ploy used by McCain to get votes.
If any Democrats were facing these same allegations, the Republicans would be singing a different tune.

All of this is a reflection on the poor judgement of John McBush. His motto has always been shoot first and ask questions later, much like the St. Paul police. Doing the vetting after you've named her your running mate isn't exactly the way it's supposed to be done but no one ever accused McCain of doing things correctly, after all, he is a Maverick.

McCain used palin for his own intrest. He will do any thing to get into the white house.he knows this is it for him.He is using Palin because she is an acttractive woman ,so she will appeal to to thsoe men who looks for whats on the outside.when he found out her daughter was pregnant and is keeping the baby ,he used her to appeal to the abortion rights, and to appeal to women.McCain has shown that he is nieve and has very poor judgement if he thinks the american people will fall for that.

Here's what happened.... After everyone with any smarts declined his offer and after Barack announced Biden, McCain had no choice but go yella. He offered Palin the job and she accepted. After telling her family, Bristol told her the happy news and Palin relayed this to McCain prior to her first speech. McCain said he found out last week, well that could have been last night prior to midnight.

Oh great. Is this how he plans to run the Presidency? Make a crucial decision off the cuff and then go back and get the information needed to make it in the first place after the fact?!
This nomination is a joke and an insult to the American people. So far in 48 hours I've discovered first that not only is this candidate as right-wing as they come and has no experience to lead this country but hey!, she's supposed to get my vote because she's a woman. she's being investigated for corruption! Then viola! her 17 year old daughter is pregnant and planning a shot-gun wedding with her mother pulling the trigger. Should I have suspected that when all the photos of the 17 year old featured her with the baby in front of her waist? Now I hear her husband has a DUI, she's hired a lawyer to fight her corruption charges, she's not well-liked in Alaska and her numbers are slipping.
And this candidate has the audacity to portray herself as someone I should respect, admire, and vote for? A mother with a 5 month old Down syndrome baby, a son going off to Iraq, a 17 year old pregnant daughter, a husband who is so irresponsible he drinks and drives and this woman can focus on running our country? I think she either is as insane as McCain in making this decision or Palin should go back to Alaska and tend to her family.

Perhaps, for the good of her 'ailing' children, Palin should decline the vp post and stay closer to home.
44 years in Alaska she was fine. They do things differantly there. Her small town life has NOTHING to do with everyday America...
I'm not being cruel, I know small town life, I live 7 miles from the nearest town which has a population of 2100. We can do 'things' here that wouldn't play well on a national stage.
She had her 15 minutes of fame, too bad her daughter had to be collateral damage.

  20. McCain Campaign Girls Gone Wild

Ha! Yes, let's do compare her to Obama, who, so you say "Typical White Person" has never made a single decisin where the buck stopped with him. Obama has made a very important decision and that was to pick a qualified, experienced, and serious candidate for Vice President. He also decided to spend several months vetting that Vice Presidential candidate. Looks like those are much better decisions than McCain has made in the last 42 hours. Shall I go on? Sure, why not. He decided to use the internet to create an on-line 2 million person supporters network that has raised him over $100 million. Pretty good decision. He also decided to co-author a nuclear non-proliferation bill in the Senate. He also decided to go against the billion dollar war in Iraq and suggest a timetable for withdrawal. Pretty good decisions. I'd love to go on but why don't you share all the smart decisions Palin has made in her illustrious tenure as sports caster, PTA mom, beauty pageant contestant, mayor of Wasilla, and Governor of Alaska. Let me get you started...she decided to support the infamous Bridge to Nowhere! Go ahead, your turn...

I think sarah and her family are doing the right thing....Just because they are not like the wackos out there who would rather have there child commit murder by having an abortion than taking responsibilty for there actions for the life they created...

I now like the fact that evangelicals are circling the wagons in their support of Palin's pregnant daughter. Now their argument is that the Palins are model citizens because they chose to give birth to an illegitimate child borne by a seventeen year old. What would their argument have been had this been one of Obama's daughters? Now McCain has taken another page from Karl Rogue and sent a team of communications people to start their spin doctrine in an effort to get the American people acclimated to teenagers giving birth. I am offended to think that McCain wants the American people to accept this woman as a potential Vice President of the United States. She is no where near ready or capable of running a country such as the US. It is obvious that McCain picked Palin in an effort to garner votes from disaffected Hillary supporters, and Palin was a willing participant in the game. In the process, she has committed the ultimate sin of a mother betraying her own child by marching the daughter before a slew of cameras to tell the world she is pregnant as a teenager. Palin obviously has no dedication to anything if it stands the way of her getting what she wants.
