Palin has hired lawyer as trooper probe continues

(CNN) – Alaska Governor Sarah Palin hired a lawyer three weeks ago to act on her behalf as state legislators investigate whether she may have abused her power in firing the state police chief for refusing to fire her ex-brother-in-law, a state trooper, CNN has confirmed.

A report of findings of a legislative inquiry that began several weeks ago is currently slated to be released just days before Election Day.

It seems the process for picking Palin was a little last minute, too many suprises within 3 days................what will come out next?

For those of you instead of dealing with those issues want to bring up cases such as Resco whom Obama bought property from his wife has been trialed over and done.
Or when Obama was 8 yrs old* Ayers now a Prof. had done some stupid stuff back in the day......................How dare you bring up such nonsense Obama is known to reach out to ALL AMERICANS. Just as he reached out to Palin and her fam. He is definitely about honor, integrity and family values. I'm sure if needed he can play HARDBALL!

Once again, this is what happens when the vetting process is not done appropriately! McCain is screwing himself big time! He tried to bamboozle the American people with this choice in the beginning. Now, look at what's happening. I tell you, karma is real!

We should follow Barack's lead and not make this big election about small things.

That said, McCain's judgement on big decisions seems at best shaky. You want evangelicals... tap Huackabee, not an unknown.

Sounds like Mrs. Palin is running scared! I think that McBush picked the perfect running mate..........She has as many skeletons in her closet as he does. What a perfect pair. Dumb and dumber!

What!! Is Sarah Palin so scared that the truth is going to come out that she has to go and hire lawyers? It is scary by the day to know that such a person is going to be running for the VP ticket. Lord help us!!!

Now I want CNN to report on the "bridge to nowhere". Palin's own state newspapers reported that she supported the bridge until it became unpopular. Sounds like McCain has found a supportive flip-flopper to be on his side.

This is not good. The American people need answer to this investigation (supposed abuse of pwer) and other issues...NOW! We are about to decide on the most important election in modern history and McCain, his campaign, Bush, and the Republican party are treating this whole process like it is a circus. Enough is enough!

It sounds like the McCain camp didn't fully vet Ms. Palin and her family.

As a lawyer, I can say with confidence that the lawyer's job will be to try to delay her deposition so that she's not under oath during the election.

Whitewater will look like child's play compared to the secrets to be uncovered in Alaska.

The flip-flop on the bridge was covered on MSNBC's site earlier today. That's where I get most of my news, for obvious reasons, but I prefer the organization of the CNN website.

What does all of the dirty laundry on the Palin family say about McCain's judgement? The American voters that support the Republican party need to start thinking for themselves. John McCain has been acting as a puppet master. First, Experience vs. Change- Experience was the way to go. Now Change vs. Experience- Change is the way to go. Second, Experience vs. Judgement- Experience was the way to go. I guess Judgement doesn't count for poop. Wake up people! John McCain couldn't have chosen a worse woman VP to court Hillary's supporters. It has been three days and we find out she is a mother that has possible abused her power in office(firing of her brother-in-law), her unwed teenage daughter is five months pregnant, her husband has been arrested for drunk driving, and Palin herself will fly from Texas to Alaska after having her water break. This is not putting the health of her unborn child first. She is a female Maverick with poor judgement.
