There was an incredibly moving tribute to Navy seal, Michael Monsoor, who threw himself on a grenade to save fellow seals in 2006, in the process giving his own life.

He received the Medal of Honor posthumously. His sister is here. She received a sustained standing ovation. Several other medal recipients from previous wars are also being honored — leading to the most exercised this crowd has been so far tonight. Now two dozen former POWs from Vietnam are being honored — old soldiers make for poignant moments.

Laura Bush, in her second appearance at this convention gets big applause too. She is the most popular person in the White House right now — her approval rating is over 60 percent.

She puts her seal of approval on Sarah Palin: "I'm proud the nation's first female vice-president will be a republican woman."

Just a reminder………The GOP want us to react negatively and defensively so they can use our comments to blame our party candidate and supporters for their mishaps. Don't be FOOLED by their hired hands stroking each key on a minute basis and remember they truly are the ones hired to make negative comments about their own party.

It is more then obvious now that this has BEEN their PLAN from the very first blunder.

If there is any negative comments posted, it's just them pretending to be DEMOCRATS……..WE WILL LET THEIR HIRED BLOGGERS, WORD FIGHT AGAINST THEMSELVES…….Please let any of our fellow Democrats be informed of this…….Because a Change is COMING…….

With McCain is all about WAR, WAR, WAR, WAR, WAR, WAR.

We will hear all how about how we must dominate the world with our military and WAR.

People keep talking about Palin's exectutive experience. She governed the 3rd from last smallest state for 1.5 years while Obama was running a National campaign for the same amount of time. Obama was well received by foreign leaders all over the world while Palin has never met with any other country's leader. Obama was a United States Constitutional professor, does Palin even know the Constitution?
Obama is a Harvard graduate and first black person to be president of the Harvard Law Review (leadership). Palin graduated from a small college with a degree in journalism and worked as a sports reporter. Obama worked as a community organizer right out of college and helped organize much needed help for the less needy. Palin owned a small fishing store in Alaska. On and on and on.

Obama has excellent experience, was President of Harvard Law Review, chose to be a community organizer over going to Wall Street, and was a Constitutional professor before he ever even ran for state senate. God knows this country needs someone who understands the constitution. The experience argument against Obama is getting very old. He has tons of experience, just not in Washington. He definately has more relevant experience than Palin.
