ST. PAUL, Minnesota (CNN) – Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani will have a speaking role at the Republican National Convention, a GOP official tells CNN.

Giuliani was scheduled to deliver the keynote address Tuesday, but Hurricane Gustav forced Republicans to alter the program. Giuliani will speak later in the week.

Take it from a NATIVE NEW YORKER – with the exception of his (so-called) heroics on 9/11, this guy is nothing but a bully and a loser. His own children don't seem to like him very much . . .why should we?

However, he would have made a better VP pick than Palin (I really don't understand that decision – though I'll give it to her – she is quite beautiful)!

I just can't stand Giuliani. There's a huge difference between being a Mayor and knowing how to be President. Please go away...

Republicans would best serve their interest by putting a muzzle on Rudy and buying him a plane ticket back to New York.

The GOP Convention is trying to line-up as many pro McCain/Palin speakers as it can. Giuliani will try make a case for McCain/Palin based on experience because Palin has more "executive experience" than Obama/Biden.

This will fail. As more and more Republican pundits are interviewed, none of them answer in the "affirmative" that Palin is the best Republican choice for VP, especially as more of her political and personal history are revealed to the public.

lets rename the RNC as the Convention of Losers! These guys and the new VP candidate are a joke! McShame/Bush has lost it, Guliani's words will drown in the same sink hole that the Republicans will, by the way Bush will seal their fate when he joins them and telsl us how well the Republians will do. I am still amazed as is everyone you speak to about Palin, now her daughter is pregnant !! she was pregnant while her Mom was pregnant. tell Mom to take care of her kids and leave the country running to some one who has a functional brain!!! Thank God for Obama!!!!

If McCain is elected in November, and should something happen to him while in office, we can all take comfort that we have a second-runner up beauty queen as our president before we get nuked off the planet.
