WOW!!! THAT IS SAD!!! THE EPUBLICAN GOP HAD TO GET AN EX-DEMOCRAT (JOE LIEBERMAN) TO EXPLAIN TO GOVERNOR SARA PALIN..."EXACTLY WHAT A VICE-PRESIDENT IS AND...WHAT A VICE PRESIDENT DOES..." THEY STILL HAVE NOT FIGURED OUT HOW TO USE THE INTERNET!!! THAT IS WHY THEY DID NOT KNOW THAT THE FIRST DAY THAT THEY DECIDED TO SELECT HER FOR VP; THEY DID NOT EVEN HAVE TO GO TO ALASKA TO LEARN ABOUT HER. ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS TO GOOGLE HER. THAT IS WHAT THE 38,000,000 OBAMA/BIDEN PEOPLE DID. THAT IS HOW WE LEARNED ABOUT HER. IT TURNS OUT THAT ALASKA NEWSPAPERS ARE ON LINE. ***BUT THE GOP DID NOT KNOW THAT.*** HHHHHMMMMMM!!!! OH!!! THAT IS WHY THEY HAD SO MANY HAND PAINTED SIGNS....THEY HAVE NOT YET DISCOVERED MODERN TECHNOLOGY. LAST WEEK, THEY MADE FUN OF ALL OF THE DIFFERENT SIGNS THAT WERE AT THE DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION...SIGNS THAT WERE PROFESSIONALLY PRINTED.

TO JOHN MCCAIN'S PEOPLE: STEP ASIDE AND LET OBAMA/BIDEN FINISH TEACHING YOU HOW TO RUN A CAMPAIGN. HEY!!! IF JOHN MCCAIN'S TEAM CAN NOT RUN A MODERN CAMPAIGN; HOW ON EARTH CAN HE RUN A MODERN NATION. BASED UPON WHAT I SAW TONIGHT; WELL WILL ALL HAVE TO INVEST IN PIDGEONS...TO SEND HADWRITTEN MESSAGES FROM ONE PERSON TO ANOTHER. HE IS GOING TO ROLL BACK ALL THAT OUR GREAT NATION HAS ACCOMPLISHED. PLEASE NOTE: THE GOP HATES LIBERAL PROGRESSION!!!

Hypocrisy alert! When Lieberman crosses party lines they call him a 'traitor' but when their own guy does it they call him a 'uniter' and 'great leader.'

I was in the middle of the road for this election until the republicans nominated Palin. How can a mother, with a down syndrome child, and a pregnant teen find time to run the country? The answer is, that no good mother, as she claims to be, could find such time. Motherhood is a full time job if done correctly. Or if its part time, its still the priority, and requires a great deal of time. If an unexperienced woman becomes president, I would hope that running this country would be her priority. At least Hilary had a daughter that was fully grown and could focus on being president-my advice to Palin is to go back to Alaska, take care of your children, and work on small town politics, which is all she should have time for.

McCain does not look long for this world-being 77 and having cancer 4 times! For this reason we must look at Palin as a possible president. Being that I am an American woman and I am having a hard time taking her seriously, how is the rest of the world, especially the middle eastern countries, going to receive her?

Either Palin has promised the Republicans oil in Alaska, or they are running their campaign much like they have run our country the last eight years, irresponsibly.

I read the blogs every night and it doesn't seem like many people were interested in the RNC. How sad. It was kinda dry and boring. I must admit I liked the jazz music played before the convention

What kind of advice could he possibly give...

ricardo williams   September 3rd, 2008 12:56 am ET

Lieberman is the most confused hypocrite I've ever seen. Somebody please hand Lieberman a bone?

Linda-Omaha   September 3rd, 2008 12:55 am ET

I don't care if she is she is republican or democrat-many women, if they are lucky perform many roles in life, daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, in-law, worker, boss, etc. and there are certain times in our lives when WE have to choose which area needs the most of our attention-THATS FAMILY VALUES and SACRIFICE sometimes (for the good of others) So I have some questions based on my reading. How is it better for her son Trig at 4 months with Downs Syndrome to spend less time with his mother (and father) instead of four, who will be taking care of and talking to and instilling those family values into thos preteen girls at home???? Why was Track, the 18 year old boy finishing school playing hockey at someplace in Michigan vs HOME???????????? WHERE were Bristols parents while she was actively choosing not to use condoms? Now, if you tell me that their arrangement was for the Dad to be a stay at home Dad, I could work w that a little, but I haven't seen any evidence of that or that any plans were made to care for their chidren. Which tells me all I need to know, she has her prioriities mixed up

eugene   September 3rd, 2008 12:54 am ET

i hope he asked her why her family wants to leave the usa in form their own country which would be alaska

Rob   September 3rd, 2008 12:54 am ET

Dear Sarah,

This is how I sunk a good candidate. Follow my lead so Obama can be president.
A safe bet is to bet against Lieberman. He is as corrupt as they come.

Axel   September 3rd, 2008 12:54 am ET

A lot of people think Al Gore made a bad choice by choosing Lieberman as his running mate, and believe that doing so cost him the Presidency. I wonder if he mentioned that to her?

Tracy T   September 3rd, 2008 12:53 am ET

He had his hand up her skirt. Did everyone see the picture of Palin in a bikini holding her rifle with Bubba in the background smoking a cigarette and drinking a beer>

You can take the girl out the double wide but you can't take the double wide out of the girl!

Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!!

Angela   September 3rd, 2008 12:52 am ET

If country matters more than party and if McCain truly believes this then why didn't McCain do that? I mean, McCain wasn't aloud to pick Lieberman, who was his FIRST CHOICE, as VP.

If McCain can't make his own decisions (Conservatives said NO to Lieberman) then why would anyone pick him as President?

WOMEN FOR OBAMA   September 3rd, 2008 12:50 am ET

They ACTUALLY met to discuss her incredible lack of experience...& so that the campaign could finally vet her! What a frickin mess!!

Uma from Liverpool, UK   September 3rd, 2008 12:50 am ET

They have zip, zero, zilch in common. He's pro-choice, pro-gun-control, anti-war, worried about global warming... She's rabidly anti-abortion, NRA, an avowed global-warming skeptic (!), sending her son to Iraq...

What on Earth could they possibly have to discuss??

He's gone off the deep end.

J. Lemke   September 3rd, 2008 12:50 am ET

Mr. King,
The next time you see Senator Reid can you ask him a question for me? In the spirit of reaching across the aisle that your president elect professes, will you let Joe Lieberman keep his chairmanship?
Thanks.
J. Lemke

Clarence   September 3rd, 2008 12:44 am ET

She not only met with Sen. Lieberman but she also has the entire Bush team preping her for foriegn policy and upcomming debates against Sen. Biden. So much for Sen. McCain's hopes of distancing himself from President Bush......... But of cource that was just a smoke screen anyway that McCain is hoping the American people buy........................

Whoopti Whoop for Joe who just committed political suicide tonight with his flip flop speech.I had the feeling I was watching an old Alf episode because he sounds just like the actor who played the father. The entire convention tonight took me back many years in many ways.Talk about looking at the old guard compared to the Dems convention. Is it not always out with the old and in with the new ? I sure hope so for the sake of future America. The Republicans in in a serious time warp !

Rich   September 3rd, 2008 12:43 am ET
