Schneider: Enthusiasm comes from the women on-stage

First Lady Laura Bush addressing the RNC.
First Lady Laura Bush addressing the RNC.

St. PAUL (CNN) – Laura Bush is not only the most popular member of the Bush administration, she is the only popular member of the Bush administration since Colin Powell left.

Another very popular Republican woman: You may find over the course of the evening that there’s more enthusiasm for Sarah Palin than for John McCain.

It can’t be an accident that they’re showcasing women — they’re going after the Clinton vote.

People keep talking about Palin's exectutive experience. She governed the 3rd from last smallest state for 1.5 years while Obama was running a National campaign for the same amount of time. Obama was well received by foreign leaders all over the world while Palin has never met with any other country's leader. Obama was a United States Constitutional professor, does Palin even know the Constitution?
Obama is a Harvard graduate and first black person to be president of the Harvard Law Review (leadership). Palin graduated from a small college with a degree in journalism and worked as a sports reporter. Obama worked as a community organizer right out of college and helped organize much needed help for the less needy. Palin owned a small fishing store in Alaska. On and on and on.

Obama has excellent experience, was President of Harvard Law Review, chose to be a community organizer over going to Wall Street, and was a Constitutional professor before he ever even ran for state senate. God knows this country needs someone who understands the constitution. The experience argument against Obama is getting very old. He has tons of experience, just not in Washington. He definately has more relevant experience than Palin.

Nobody knows Sarah Palin yet. Even the Republicans and John McCain himself don't know her. This just proves McCain is dangerous with this CRAZY pick. More and more of the truth is coming out on Palin who was picked because she was a so called reformer.

She is not a reformer but rather a fraud due to the following:

-As mayor of Wasilla, population 5700 at that time, she hired a lobby firm to help her get $27 million dollars in federal earmarks from 2000-2003.

-As governor of Alaska the state received $570 million and $200 million dollars in federal earmarks which John McCain is against.

-In 2002 Palin received $4500 from the same firm that has gotten Senator Steven indited for a felony and is under FBI investigation.

-Sarah Palin's gubernatorial administration illegally possessed confidential files of her ex brother-in-law.

-Palin is under a state investigation for abuse of power and recently hired a private lawyer who is authorized to spend up to $95000 to defend her.

Palin is clearly a fraud on the ISSUES she supposedly was picked on.
    Where is the judgement now?????

If any women thinks that Sarah Palin is a replacement for Hillary Clinton, she is not very bright at all.

For those who have not seen it yet, look up Cambell Brown's interview with Tucker Bounds. Finally, someone showing asking the hard questions. Unfortunately for CNN this caused McCain to cancel a seperate interview with them.

It's not going to work. They made one huge miscalculation...women actually CAN think for themselves and don't just follow other women. Duh. The McCain campaign is clueless.
