Anyone of these people would have been soooooo much more qualified than who he picked. At least they are for the UNITED States of America and Alaska First and wanting to succeed from the union. There is nothing that I have found that would make me conclude that Obama does not have a great record. Judging from their comments, the left is indeed frightened by the appearance of Governor Palin on the GOP ticket. It is difficult to understand, however, why all the commentators have limited their analysis to Ms. Palin's possible impact on female voters. Why not the impact on male voters? It is highly probable that many independent men will be somewhat swayed by the appearance of an attractive, highly competent woman who speaks plainly and knows how to play basketball. The left is not unnecessarily worried.

I'm a lifelong Democrat and I actually dont mind Romney too much.

I'm from Michigan and the Repubs love him here but Michigan is dominated mostly by Democrats. Even though it is considered a "battleground" state Obama leads by about 5% in Michigan polls. Not a lot of the Repubs here support McCain, which is a good thing considering our desperate need to remove this party from the White House.

The Democrats in congress have great ideas however they can not put them to use because they actually only have 50 seats in the Senate, they're counting Lieberman who is a pseudo-Republican. With a Democrat congress and finally a Democrat White House, work can get done. Bush has used his veto pen 100 times in the past 2 years yet once in the first 6!

Word is that Nevada, Missouri, and Colorado could all go for Obama, which were Bush states, and would put Obama over the 270 mark.

Make sure everyone goes out and votes Nov. 4th!

What does Palin know about balancing a budget when she is from a state that gets TONS of revenue from oil and doesn't even have the population of a moderate size city.

I hope every one watches carefully tonight and sees past the fear and hate they are trying to sell. America is hurting, who is going to sovle our problems.

Tonite will great for the Republicans,

Tonite all of America will see three also ran Republicans who would all make a better President than Obama. And last night they all saw a fourth in Thompson. The night will be topped off when Palin shows how she is not only a great VP for the ticket, but also vastly more qualifed than Obama.

And the best one of all, John McCain leads the ticket.
