If Palin becomes Vice President can they claim executive privledge and then she won't have to testify in her Alaska troubles? Then the public will never really know. It has been said that the results of the investigation won't be coming out until around election time.
I don't know how things work, just curious.

When the D.Convention was on CNN cut away all the time never heard man y of the speeches and Wolf would continue to talk while they were speaking but yesterday noticed they had every speech on even though they were not on anything except slamming Obama and Biden not a thing of any interest t.
The Republican had many empty seats and what we viewed was how many times Cindy McBush changes places to set real interesting?NOT

"thought this was America the melting pot of the world "of age and race sure not in the Republican Party from that photo op as the people were mostly middle agedt o older ,white people the race mix was missing.

Now i see why the McCain camp chose Palin for VP. Since July, Sen Obama has included the development of the Alaska natural gas pipeline in his energy plan. McCain has not supported funding for the project. But now he has been informed of the importance of the pipeline of course he had to do whatever he could to gain cotrol of the situation, and Obama messed up and gave the credit for the pipeline idea to Begich instead of Palin....so presto bango we have Sarah Palin for vice president of the US. That explains why everything was so rushed. Palin herself told the public that she was delighted that Obama had taken on the pipeline project. However the McCain people have gotten to her and convinced her that she has been snubbed and that McCain is the one who is going to give her the "credit she deserves". However, she's ultra stupid if she thinks this whole thing isn't just a power play by McCain. He has just used Palin AND the honor of being nominated for VP of the US as a monopoly move to try to thwart Obama.

VOTERS OF AMERICA: PLEASE CHECK FACTS!!!!!

I found it really amusing when the Republicans have a sign saying Country First. This afternoon there was in interview of McCain by Charles Gibson of ABC about the choice of Palin. One of the last question was about foreign policy and Ben Laden, Mcloseit said President Clinton and his (twin) G W Bush tried to arrest Ben Laden without success but Mcwar said himself he knows exactly how to get Ben Laden. If you are putting Country first how come you didn't help to get this terrorist arrested but prefer to wait to be President (which will never happen) to do so? COUNTRY FIRST?? give me a break.

All those black and blue suits. Where does the common man or women fit into this RNC? It looks more like a funeral for our country.

I eek my living as a sign maker, so from a professional point of view...

1: Whoever made these did a poor job of relaying the message that John McCain is trying to convey and should have spent a little more time getting to know their clients need. A simple solution would to be adding the word "Selective" before the word prosperity.

2: The kerning is too tight. Adding negative space would be a plus at this point. But I can see that McCain has already added the negative in his VP selection, so it will have to stand for now.

3: Poor choice of colors for the prosperity signs. Maroon (burgundy) colors are prone to fading when they are brought into the light. Is this a subliminal message?

4: The upper and lower cases don't work well together. The capital letters appear to have more strength than the lower ones. You need to change your cases or you can risk people turning away.

5: Shoddy materials. These are not lasting sign, but are designed to fade and fail within the next month or so. Temporary at best. I suggest using word that will not change or become weathered with age.

6: On a personal note, I have never like a sign made into a simple shape. It doesn't make a statement that will last. With a little less adherence to the old rules, you can better relay a message. The real trick is to not go overboard and keep within the principles of the message.

Maybe tonight there will be more people in attendance. Last night I was amazed at the vast number of empty seats.

You guys must stop with the Palin bashing. She is John McCain's soulmate. She is his "lobster."

Sorry, I can't keep a straight face anymore. This Palin selection is ridiculous. It is such a great shame to see how far McCain has fallen from 2000 when I was a staunch supporter of him.

Tonight we heard from a black lady and nobody in the crowd was paying attention. Then a sharecroppers son that very few applauded except when he wanted Obama to work the fields with his father. Now there is no applause and a lot of mumbling like "who put her on the stage" since she said minorities will be the majority in a few more years, just what a bible belt conservative wants to hear. Is this for real? I never heard such negative grumbling in my life.
