Convention to air Palin biography video

CNN

The RNC will air a video Thursday night highlighting Palin's biography.

(CNN) – A video highlighting Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin's biography and record as Alaska's governor is set to air at the party's convention Thursday night, senior McCain aides tell CNN.

The three-minute video was originally slated to air Wednesday night before Palin's speech at the convention but was postponed due to time constraints. McCain aides said the video makes a "compelling" case for why John McCain chose Palin as his running mate.

"Mother, moose hunter, maverick," the video's narrator states. “Mayor, governor, maverick. The original maverick made an astute choice when he asked Governor Palin to join him in his effort to remake Washington.

"Alaska, a far corner of America that accounts for 20 percent of our domestic oil, has produced a remarkable woman who's never been afraid to put her city, state, or country first - regardless of consequences," the narrator continues.

I find it interesting that the republicans continues to use the word "Maverick" like thats a good thing.....look it up.....all it means is that they will do what they want, when they want, regardless of what anyone else might think.....haven't we had enough of that?

Who needs a video, the far right conservatives love her. Too bad she has to appeal to the rest of the country, who can't stand her, the hypocrite.

    To Gail
You must be ignorant to the fact that most CNN and their viewing (reading) audience are in the tank for Obambi. Get a clue.

How about CNN fact cheking her speeh instead of fawning over it. She flat out lied about 60% of the time. Ask her about her support for secial need kinds (slashed that program's budget by 62%) or her record on tyaxes (raised them), the bridge to nowhere(supported it), clainm that Obama hasn't authored any bills (google Obama and bills and you will find out that this is a big lie), and the list goes on.

How would the video help define who she is when she apparently made the case last night?

Waiting for her to stop hiding and come out to be interviewed by the press. Its easy to throw pot shots if you don't have to answer to explain yourself.

It is really sad that she had to take the low road and get nasty and speak sarcastically about Obama. I am not saying Democrats aren't equally negative, but it would have been nice for the first woman in history on the ticket to rise above the rest. It would have been refreshing to just hear about her plans for the country. So can anyone say she is any different than the rest in Washington? It is sad to say she isn't acting like she is different.

The real reason is because they only had less than a week to come up with something and they ran out of white out to cover up all the stuff folks don't like. When she gets in she will claim that she was sent by God to pray for war with Russia.

How do we know they're not making this stuff up, Moose hunter, she has 5 kids, when did she have time to hunt moose. Sounds like they're lying to make a hard sale. IS 3 months long enough to get to know her?

When are we going to start hearing the McCain campaign tell us why McCain should be President and how he stands on the major issues, and stop telling us why we shouldn't vote Obama.

It's getting old. And I suspect that it's only going to get worse.

I am going to vote this time for HOPE and PROSPERITY. Not against the worst candidate.

If you vote for a Presidential candidate solely becuase of the VP selection, you should have your voter registration card revoked.

Since when do people buy tickets to the movies only to watch the previews?

By the way, the McCain campaign needs to be very careful when they say that Barack has no "Executive" experience becuase by definition, Senator McCain has exactly zero Executive experience as well.

She called Obama on EVERYTHING that needed to be said, and all Dems can say is "she might not be ready to lead (like Obama is? lol)," or "her daughter is pregnant (we're in the 21st Century right?)"

After last night, there's NO WAY I'm voting Obama. She's a better speaker than he is hands down.

I just realized something very humorous:

    Sarah Palin = Sarah Plain

if you simply transpose (or flip-flop) the 2nd and 3rd letters of her last name. How appropriate ;-) I think we're onto something here!

Well she has style, but really failed deliver the truth about Obama. Between taxes, about Obama's policies, experience. I'm sorry I definately do not want a 20 month term governor in office. Especially knowing that McCain has had 4 bouts of cancer. Sorry she's too risky. Let alone her values vs her home. Sets a bad tone for my own daughter. There was absolutely no value in sarcastic tone for me and let alone my children. We prefer professionalism and tact. For someone to put a person down for being a community organizer is just wrong. Would she put me down for my first job in fast food? I'm sorry it just shows that she has no regard for someone's value and their walks of life.

Is Sarah shooting a moose going to help our economy?

Will it help keep America safe?

    Will it save the planet?

    Will it save Social Security?

Will it solve the immigration problem?

Will it erase the trade deficit with China?

Will it keep Russian aggression at bay?

Will it keep nukes out of Iranian hands?

    Will it catch bin Laden?
