Convention to air Palin biography video

The RNC will air a video Thursday night highlighting Palin's biography.

(CNN) - A video highlighting Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin's biography and record as Alaska's governor is set to air at the party's convention Thursday night, senior McCain aides tell CNN.

The three-minute video was originally slated to air Wednesday night before Palin's speech at the convention but was postponed due to time constraints. McCain aides said the video makes a "compelling" case for why John McCain chose Palin as his running mate.

"Mother, moose hunter, maverick," the video's narrator states. “Mayor, governor, maverick. The original maverick made an astute choice when he asked Governor Palin to join him in his effort to remake Washington.

"Alaska, a far corner of America that accounts for 20 percent of our domestic oil, has produced a remarkable woman who's never been afraid to put her city, state, or country first - regardless of consequences," the narrator continues.

That's right - what DOES a community organizer - working for the corrupt Democratic Chicago machine - know?

Sarah Palin is an awsome American woman! SO much more accomplished and interesting than O-blah-blah - and so much LESS vulgar than his styrofoam Greek columns!

She and John McCain have my vote in November.

I thought she presented herself well when first introduced a week ago. My opinion has completely changed. For someone making their first national appearance yesterday she was simply a mindless attack dog. She showed no grace, only sarcasm and mockery. Also after looking at her fanatical positions she's seems to be just another right wing freak who wants to lead this country straight ahead to the 11th century.

Whoever keeps posting the list of Obama's credentials, it would make a stronger case if you would spell HARVARD correctly. The copy/paste thing isn't working for you.

I'd say she's been eating more than moose. Maybe she's been drinking the Bush Kool-aid.

She's a joke, and thank God we only have to put up with her for 4 months and not 4 years.

I don't know why everyone is getting bent out ot shape. Palin was able to take clean shots last night because she has not been vetted by the public. I am certain that once her extreme right of right-wing radical views are known, everyone will be running for cover.

She gave a good speech, but again she was a clean slate and no one could really question or compare her speech with her historical, recorded views. The Repugs have launched a war against the media, a universally accepted sign of desperation. The media will now vet her.

She will not be the future of the Repug party unless she drastically modifies her view towards the majority middle of the nation.

I give the Repugs an "A" for effort, but they are still going to get slammed in November, they will be in the minority in both houses of congress and will not hold the presidency.

They are truly in the wilderness for the next 8 years.

    Enjoy the convention repugs

I am a Democrat and have a different take on the Sarah Palin. She appeals to parts of the country who share her values. Their right. Everyone needs to calm down. It's not about Palin. It's about McCain and Obama and the direction they each want to take the country in. Both parties have principles and VERY DIFFERENT AGENDAS. Look inside your values and what matters to you and stick to the issues. Let's not fall into the Republican trap of "forgetting about the issues."

If God did not want us to hunt animals then why did he make them out of meat?

If people were not meant to be omnivorous then why do we have k9 teeth ?
Do you force your kids to eat only vegetables. If so that should be child cruelty. Children need meat to be healthy. People like you are sad to me . I bet you have never hunted yet you will bash it. Btw hunters are great environmentalists and hunting is good for the environment. Remember that thing called the food chain. What happens if you let any one animal population get to big? thats right it destroys the ecosystem.

Why is Sarah Palin afraid of being interviewed, afraid of answering questions, and afraid of the press? The only things she knows how to do are repeat speeches written by Bush's speechwriters.

She's very good at reading a teleprompter. Why won't her GOP masters let her talk to the press? All we ever hear about this woman if filtered and scripted by the GOP.

Why is it OK for Obama to belittle Palin's work and not OK for her to belittle his? Talking about double standards. Until last night all the talk was that she could not be commander in chief because she did not have experience standing up to terrorists and world leaders. Now that she proved that she can take on all the "big boys", she is "divisive"? I am so energised that a smart woman can demolish an opponent with a smile. I wish I could. Didn't she say that she was a pitbull in lipstick? It's interesting that the aging beauty queen would compare herself to a dog that most people think is vicious, vile and should be put down.

Repubs are SO elitist! Only someone like John McCain who wears $500 shoes, has more houses than he can count, and is married to a woman worth over $100 million would look down on Obama's job of community organizing (i.e. finding jobs for union workers who had been laid off from their jobs). Since McCain is filthy rich, he thinks it's funny to make fun of out-of-work blue-collar workers. Elitist to the core!

the only thing I heard was her bashing Obama and nothing on what she and McCain would do to bring change about. I hope that they don't think that bashing the opponant is going to win the election for them.

She announced the day her son goes to Irak. Not that smart. Biden never even talked about his son going there. She might be able to use a weapon but she lacks the responsibilty and understanding to use it wisely.

She's not a very nice woman, unless you're conservative, then she loves you. Why would I want someone literally on the fringes of the American mainstream to lead me?

She's great for a few laughs, but we have a lot of serious problems.

" By the way my fellow republicans...." she said as she try to silence the rowdy conventioners enough to continue speaking. " I'M UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR ABUSE OF POWER!"

I'm Sara Palin and I approve this message.
