I remember the season she was on The Real World...but only because of her castmate Pedro and his beautiful relationship with his boyfriend/husband Shawn. I remember when he revealed to his roommates that he was HIV positive, she immediately showed her true narrow-minded, backwards thinking republican colors. Rachel was an idiot then, she remains an idiot now.

Pedro was an avid community organizer and devoted his remaining days to educating not only the homosexual but hetersexual about what it was like to be "living with this disease". Teaching the importance of safe sex.

If that makes community organizers irrelevent in the eyes of her candidate and she can identify with her, what does that say about her and her opinion of her "friend" Pedro...a lowly community organizer. Rachel your 15 minutes was up a LONG time ago. Please, for the love of God, go away.

I'm getting very confused about the references to Bristol Palin's "decision" to have and keep the baby. This implies that the girl had a choice to make and could have "decided" to end the pregnancy or put the baby up for adoption. BUT, that would make candidate Palin pro-choice, wouldn't it???

First; Who is is this woman? She was on some made-in-hollywood make believe "reality" show and now she is an expert on what MOST women want? BTY; where will all these so called "pro-life" people if some girl is raped and forced to have the baby? Will these people step up to the plate and support her and her child? If they say they will than let me tell you now; there are plenty of children now who need good homes so come on and step up to the plate and adopt a child (just please don't teach them your values). The republicians are so out of touch with the average American; case in point, Paulin saying that Obama was "just a community organizer", I guess that a person who goes out into the community and attempts to help people is nothing.

I am a big Hillary supporter, but I support Obama because of the solutions to the issues for AVERAGE working women. I want my right to choice....I work with many women who has 2 to 3 kids and can barely stop the foreclosure on their house and we do not want to talk about the cost of healthcare. And most are single mothers how are you going to help them... thinking that just because you put a woman on the ticket we are automatically going to vote for her....she does not represent views and values of Hillary Clinton or for the average working woman nor our struggles everyday...So stop insulting our intelligence... Wish I could be a Hockey mom, but can not afford to be one, bills has to be paid....over worked and under paid....

I bet in a lot of those small towns where they not other cling to their guns and prayers, they also look out for each other I would call them the original community orgs. Where every activity involving existence in rual life depends on your neighbor. I quess small towns would'nt get a plush chair around the big rep. table.

I believe that small town people are insulted by your,reps, totally disregard for their believes that include clinging to their guns and prayers, but also include a hell of a lot more. What Obama said was more in line with relating to these people. the salt of the earth, or the community org. in wanting ensure that their concerns are addressed.

And more importantly, they are not left out.

Hey JJ, a hypocrite is someone who preaches family values and abstinence as a method for birth control, then can't prevent her own daughter from becoming pregnant at 17. Then proceeds to act as if it is some sort of blessing. The hypocrite republicans follow suit and act is if something wonderful has occurred. A hypocrite is someone who tries to mock a community organizer, someone who helps the public with little recognition or pay but does so out of benevolence.

I don't believe Sarah Palin's decision to not terminate her pregnancy
(even though knowing it would be a Down's syndrome child), or her daughter Bristol"s making the same decision is that extraordinary.
Women and girls make that same choice around the country who are
both prolife and prochoice. But if Mrs.Palin and/or her daughter Bristol
decided to carry a child to full term that resulted from either being raped or a victim of incest (as I heard in one news report Mrs.Palin
believes) now that would put a real "stamp on (the family's) pro-life
credentials. I'm sure in those circumstances she would continue to be blessed by her loving family and husband who would all help raise that child ("as long as they were good" as stated by her ideal
Mr. Mom high school sweatheart). Goverment funded programs for
special needs children will also play a part in some of the care I
would imagine. It is hard to imagine any pregnant woman deciding
on abortion under these special circumstances, if so blessed with
these resources. Again, if so blessed.

Obama has no new ideas of change, it is the ultra liberal side of politics. Guess what either way its change, its not Bush. You can keep saying that McCain voted with Bush 90% of the time but Obama has voted the liberal agenda 98% of the time. How is that change, his ideas are not new.

Such outrage about Palin...Who is taking care of the kids....Where is this concern with Obama and his wife on the campaign trail for the last year and a half. Is Biden being jabbed at for staying in the Senate when he tragically ended up as a single father. Who was taking care of his kids?

All the outrage toward Palin "making fun" of Obama being a community organizer. Well, Obama first came out with a jab against her being a Mayor of a small town then saying his executive experience comes from running his campaign.

Socialism is the politico-economic theory of social organization advocating that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be regulated or owned by the community, and in an easy translation that means the government is of the people, for the people and by the people. To me it seems the Republicans want the government to be run by retards with guns. Republicans seem to me to lean more toward Dictatorship or the Old Monarchy that we fought the Revolutionary War to get away from.

Also, please tell me EXACTLY what John McCain or Sarah Palin have done for me lately, or you for that matter. Unless you live in Alaska, Sarah Palin has done NOTHING for you because as the Alaskan Governor, she only has had to care about Alaskans so far. Most of the comments I have read coming against Sarah Palin are coming from ALASKANS. They know her and they even hate her stupid butt and don't believe the words that are coming out of her mouth.

As a woman I am repulsed by Sarah Palin. She is only in the race because the Republicans need charisma and more oil drilling opportunities. She is a good public speaker, but many people are. She should stay home and raise her kids. She didn't move to Juneau because she wanted to stay near her kids school-so clearly her family is her priority. I hope it stays that way and she gets out of politics. Its one thing to run tiny little Alaska-but the entire US is quite a jump. She puts the PTA on her resume for heavens sake!

I don't want to identify with my president, I want to admire him/her. I am still amazed that we choose candidates that we "identify" with-as if running the most powerful country in the world requries only average skills and some charisma. I want to vote for the smartest, most intellegent choice-not the most attractive. This is our future, and after the last 8 years, I am amazed how cavilier people are about their choice. As if a good speech is indicative of anything except a good speech writer and some acting experience.
